Why is trump insisting that schools should reopen this fall?
-->
@ILikePie5
Trump is ordering schools to re-open, but is skipping the whole "safely" part. There is no evidence he is taking significant action to keep teachers and students safe.
Who told you that? The mainstream media?
Betsy Devos over the weekend. she went on the news and told everyone schools would re-open under threat of being de-funded. But offered no concrete steps they are taking to keep students or teachers safe. I have asked people on here multiple times to show me any concrete steps they are taking and over and over they have been unable to do so.

If you think i'm wrong, please feel free to show me what concrete steps they are taking to keep students and teachers safe.

@ILikePie5
You mean the American Pediatric Association?
The APA wants schools to be reopened safely, as do we all. Trump is ordering schools to re-open, but is skipping the whole "safely" part. There is no evidence he is taking significant action to keep teachers and students safe.

There is a big difference between what the APA wants and what trump is doing. Here is a link to the safety guidelines they are recommending. So far I have seen no evidence the trump administration is doing any of this. If the trump administration passed rules saying that all of, or most of these rules needed to be followed in order for schools to re-open, then things would be different. I believe it is possible, and desirable, to get schools re-opened safely. But if we do not take these precautions before we re-open them, we are going to have a disaster on our hands.

@PGA2.0
So, I'm asking, would you rather live in a socialist state since that is the direction the Dems are guiding your country and economy.
but your question makes no sense. The establishment dems have an almost identical economic policy to the republicans. Even the most left wing elected officials in america are suggesting plans that would be centrist on other modern western countries (Canada, the UK etc). The idea that the dems are "socialist" for trying to do what other modern countries do is a false narrative.

Their idea for power is open borders so that the USA is flooded by (no longer illegal) immigrants who will mostly vote Democrat so that the Dems will never again have to worry about losing the power they put above all else.
again, a false narrative. The Obama deported record numbers of people. The dems are just slightly less delusional. The republicans understand that the US desperately needs immigrants to fuel it's economy, but they pretend like they are "stealing jobs" or some nonsense. The democrats just don't play the xenophobic games the republicans do. But their policies are pretty much the same on a fundamental level.

It is a radical socialist revolution we are speaking of with the Democrat Party. Anyone who opposes this radicalism is opposed.
who exactly are these radical socialists? The democratic party is filled with economically right wing people. The furthest left people like AOC or Sanders would be considered centrist in places like Canada or the UK. So where exactly are you seeing "radical socialists"?

The bigger the government "powers" and outreach the less freedom the citizens have.
this is also a false narritive. The idea that if the government is strong, then people have less freedom. When the government is weak you are just changing who has power over you. Instead of it being an elected official you have a say in selecting, it is now someone unelected who has the power to fuck with your life.

The cultural war is not nonsense but real. There is a big difference between the right and left. There is a battle of two ideologies vying for power and the one side cannot justify its means to power for they are unjust.
this is exactly how corruption has been able to spread. Both parties play up the culture war as much as they can. They get people so riled up about what bathroom a person uses, that they aren't paying attention to the corruption and corporatism taking over government. the culture was is bullshit because they use it to keep people from paying attention to the things that really matter.

Lucky, or foolish? If the Dems win watch what happens and four years later ask yourself if you are better off and how well did those Dems keep their promises?
after 4 years of trump, i cannot imagine how Biden could do worse. Trump has flailed around for 4 years causing damage and getting nothing done. Now he is bungling a global crisis leading to the deaths of tons of people. Biden isn't a good candidate. I wouldn't be excited to go out and vote for him. Sanders was clearly the better option. But after watching trump's reaction to a crisis, there is no question any more. He cannot be trusted to be in charge.

I mean I get why it's fine to act on the advice of doctors that won't tell you that important bit of information. Millions of Americans are doing exactly what you are doing.
ahh good old republicans. When provided the advice of experts they stick their fingers in their ears and do whatever their oligarchs tell them to.

No, you don't get me at all. I don't work for somebody else. I am my company. Get it now? And my standards are higher than any government regulation. I AM NOT REGULATED to any degree higher than I regulate myself. I set the rules. I obey my own rules.
If that were true, you could choose to lower those standards to whatever you wanted. But then you would be arrested. You have the power to choose from the options the government allows you to pick. If you try to pick from one the government doesn't allow, you will be fined or arrested.

Then there are those who complain tat the system is not fair to them. Make the system.
oh believe me, we very much would like to make the system. But 1st we have to get the corrupt, right wing oligarchs out of power.

Recent studies have confirmed that Vitamin D exposure actually helps in curing the Coronavirus
lol it took me 10 seconds of reading to know that this is a lie. That title of that study is "Airborne SARS-CoV-2 is Rapidly Inactivated by Simulated Sunlight". That does not mean that the sun "helps in curing" the virus. It means that it affects it's ability to be airborne. doctors haven't even confirmed whether it being airborne is a significant threat (it is person to person transmission that is the primary threat).

This is accepted manual. While this is still being tested, I don't advise being willy nilly, but there is evidence to this claim.
lol you may want to actually read a little about a study before linking it as evidence.

And honestly, Dr.Franklin has a point. When trapped in a confined space where the air particles circulate through the AC vents, etc, it is more likely you catch Covid by being in a house exposed to it than being on a beach. The best thing to do is WEAR A MASK if you go inside a house. If everyone wears a mask inside, they will prevent the potential Covid air from circulating.
you both are missing the point of the lock down. If you are staying inside with a group of people and one of them has covid, likely everyone there will get covid. The point of the lockdown is to keep people from moving between groups. IE your family might get covid, but if you all stay in your house you won't pass it to anyone else and it will be con tainted. If you go outside, you will likely pass it to lots of people all over the place and then it spreads.

Going to a crowded beach is a horrible idea. You will be exposed to countless people. Any one of them could pass you the virus. Going to crowded places is the worst thing you could do.

With outside, the air breathed out from COVID goes into the atmosphere, which means people are less susceptible to get it outside. If you follow the proper guidelines, eg: 6 ft apart, less than 15-50 (depending on state) gatherings, and wearing a mask in a public place. If you have been exposed to it, stay home.
agreed. There is still mixed evidence about whether the virus can be passed airborne. The biggest risk is person to person. People following proper guidelines (wearing a mask, staying 6 feet apart) are excellent steps to take to prevent the spread. However we should still try to minimize contact with other people as much as we can.

I've been having 6ft+ apart bonfires, swimming at the beach,and playing basketball (i play with a mask on). I have not been at any risk for COVID at any time
well, sort of. If someone who has the virus touched something (like a door handle), then you touch it, you could easily get covid. Any time you go into an area where there are other people you are at risk of contracting it. Taking proper protections significantly reduces the risk, but you still are at risk any time you go out in public.

Apparently, doctors, that don't have the info you need to make that call.
so because I personally don't have specific stats on how many 20-40 year old die of covid, we should recklessly push to reopen schools and the economy during a record breaking covid spike? That makes no sense at all.

Doctors have been warning us this whole time that reopening too fast would fuel a 2nd wave. Well I guess you are can rub it in their face that they were wrong because we didn't actually get to a second wave. We never got the 1st one under control before dumping gas on that fire. Pushing forward with more re-openings during a massive spike in covid cases is insane. Especially without taking significant steps to keep people safe like Denmark did.

You have entirely missed my whole point. The gov't regulates nothing in my work.
I haven't missed your point, but you have missed mine apparently. They do regulate your work. You can't make products beneath certain standards. Assuming you work for a company, you can only work a certain number of hours. There are tons of examples of the government regulating how you can work, when you can work and what you can make.

The rest of your post was pretty much your standard right wing "american dream!!!" bullshit. That kind of stuff is peddled to make sure that people don't see how the rich have rigged the game. As long as everyone keeps killing themselves trying to get rich, then the rich simply soak up more and more money. Just like the lottery. As long as people believe they will win, they keep buying lottery tickets. The main people getting rich are the people running the lottery though, not the people buying the tickets. The main people making money in the US economy are the millionaires and billionaires. But as long as they dangle the idea that you could be one some day, then people will keep funneling them money.

Interesting. Yet you act on the fears that you do have that info.
I'm choosing to act on the advice of doctors during a health crisis. You are choosing to act on the advice of reality TV personality who is clearly in cognitive decline.

Besides, even if absolutely no one in that age range normally died of covid, once the hospitals fill up, which they already are, then everyone who gets hospitalized is now in mortal danger. If the outbreaks in places like florida, texas or arizona continue to get worse, then the death rate is going to spike.

The problem you have is that the polls were pretty close to being right in 2016. they were a couple points off in a few critical states which allowed trump to lose the popular vote but win the electoral college by picking up a few states by tiny margins.

Trump is down by double digits this time. Hilary never had that much of a lead. Trump is under water in basically all the battleground states and several states that aren't supposed to be battlegrounds, like texas. People hated Hilary. People don't hate biden. The criticisms roll off him for the most part. You can't get anyone but the most ardent trumpist to believe he is a commie (which is one of trump's recent attempts).

To make things worse, people are really not happy with Trump's coronavirus response. They are looking for a leader who will actually lead on the biggest crisis to hit america in over a decade. But trump has basically punted on it and is choosing to focus on money over lives. The vast majority of people don't like that.

But even worse than that, is that the people who hate that the most are older people. They are the most at risk to die of covid and trump doesn't care at all if they live or die. Biden's lead among older voters is increasing dramatically. And you know who is the most likely to show up and vote? Older people.

Unless trump dramatically changes course and starts taking this crisis much more seriously, he is done. And, knowing trump, he can't do that. He is already doubling down on trying to pretend the crisis doesn't exist. When that doesn't work, he will triple down on it. And that leads to him losing in a landslide.

You won't find perfection. Would you rather live in a socialist country?
again, your argument appears to be that there are worse countries, so we should do nothing to address critical flaws in the way our economy is designed. That is an extremely weak argument.

That is the way you are going. Do you understand what socialism does?
democratic socialism is already widespread in modern countries. Places like Canada and the UK have been providing healthcare to their people for a long time and their economies are fine. Their democracies are still going strong. The idea that if the government provides services to it's people that communism is going to spring up is something no one should believe.

There is a glaring difference between the policies of the two parties.
I'm curious what you think the difference is? I mean they are extremely similar on every point. the only real difference is culture war nonsense. On most issues that matter they totally agree (and not in a good way)

With the wrong person in office may cause irreparable damage.
very true. But luckily he will be gone in a few months. Hopefully the damage can be undone though.

Doc beat you, and did it much politely than I would have.
lol he posted one vague speech where no details were provided. then repeated over and over that he had provided details. The fact that other delusional trumpists can see a post with no details and somehow think they see details does not concern me at all.

Luckily, most of the country has more sense than that and trump is looking at a historic defeat.

Doc did not use Trump in any of his arguments. You asked for support and he provided the links.
no he didn't. He provided 1 link with no concrete plans in it at all. When I asked what the details of their plan was he just kept repeating that they were there. Over and over and over. Despite never providing any details whatsoever. Like a good cultist.

He mentioned how the weather affects infection and supplied real world examples with his reasons.
he made an assertion and then provided absolutely no evidence to back it up. Correlation does not equal causation. Maps with similar colors is not evidence of a link in any way.

All you want to do is whine about Trump. Doc said in his OP. It's Not Political.
when the president is undermining public safety in a global crisis in order to score cheap political points (despite failing miserably to do so), that is making it political.

@n8nrgmi
i see no virtue in what trump is doing here.
of course not. For there to be virtue, trump would have to have virtue. Donald does what he thinks is best for Donald. He doesn't care how many people die. He doesn't care how many people are permanently injured from Covid. He only cares about himself, and winning the election. If he has to sacrifice hundreds of thousands of people, that is a small cost to him because he simply doesn't value their lives. If the pandemic is perceived to drag on, he will definitely lose the election. so he is desperate to make people perceive it as things being back to "normal", even as the bodies pile up.

What EXACTLY are the chances a 20-40 year old parent in good shape will die to COVID only?
I don't have exact stats on that. Alot of the data isn't divided up that way. But cases are spiking. Hospitals in some states are almost at the breaking point. Several states are having record rates of new cases. The outbreak is worse than it has ever been. Once hospitals reach capacity, all cases requiring hospitalization become life threatening because proper medical care is no longer available.

@Greyparrot
Yeah cause kids don't get to make that choice.
No they don't. We as adults need to make the choices for them. And I would think learning from home, or dead parents would be a pretty easy choice to make.

Old frail people don't have that excuse, so fuck them for being irresponsible with the lives of children.
As I keep explaineing to you and you keep ignoring, Covid kills lots of people who are neither old nor frail. You repeating the same tired talking point over and over does not make it any more effective.

If they wanna do that to their own child, fine. But let the other kids with healthy parents live a normal life. Misery doesn't need company during a viral pandemic.
ok, but that "normal life" then causes a massive outbreak of covid. That causes 10's of thousands of deaths and more lockdowns to try to get it under control. That doesn't help anyone. That doesn't get us back to a "normal life" faster. It only drags it out and causes this to last longer.

In the USA, the government does not regulate production and labor.
of course they do. They regulate how many hours you can work. They regulate what safety precautions businesses have to take. They regulate what days you get off. The list goes on and on and on. America does not have a free market economy. It has aspects of it, but the government meddles in many aspects of the market, often for the betterment of society.

Yes, even in a free market, there is some necessary gov't regulation. See US Constitution, Article I, section 8.
you just defined a free market economy as one where the market determines production and labor. I just pointed out a bunch of ways the government makes decisions about labor and production.

You are mesmerized, still, by Oba'a, who effectivey tyold you the money supply is a finite commodity.
I never said that. Money is an artificial construct that we created. We can create as much of it as we want. But our economy is designed to funnel as much of it as possible to the very top. The problem isn't how much money there is, it is that it is all being intentionally concentrated in as few hands as possible making our economy extremely unbalanced.

I have offered examples that you are not limited by anyone or anything but yourself.
You have offered examples of how extremely lucky cases can succeed in a rigged game. But the occasional winner does not mean the game isn't rigged. People win the lottery all the time, but that doesn't mean that playing the lottery is going to make you money. Statistically, almost everyone who plays it is losing money and a tiny percentage make alot. It is designed to soak up money from a huge number of people and concentrate it in a very few hands while skimming off chunks for the people running it.

Then they are not quarantining themselves by choice. Food can be delivered so can drugs. They are choosing to fuck the kids over.
again, you are ignoring the rest of my point in an attempt to say "fuck you frail people" to justify doing something extremely dangerous.

@Greyparrot
Exactly how many kids 10 and younger died from COVID only?
this is an intentional dodge and you know it. You want to distract from the rest of my point. Sending kids back to schools without significant safety upgrades risks a massive increase is cases which could kill 10's of thousands of people. Does it make it better that lots of children will survive passing the disease to their parents and killing them?

Created:

@Greyparrot
Sure they do. They can fuck their own child over by removing the child from school without fucking over the 99% of the other kids.
that doesn't really address the rest of my point though. They will still need to be able to get food, medication etc. And if children are free spreading the virus to their friends and families, then you get a mass outbreak and these peoples lives are in extreme danger.

Also, the virus can be extremely dangerous to people who are otherwise healthy. It can make them extremely ill including permanent negative effects to their health. If the virus spreads then hospitals get overwhelmed and people who would otherwise survive the virus start dying.

@Greyparrot
If those frail people don't choose to quarantine themselves, why should the kids suffer?

It's a legitimate question nobody wants to ask or answer.
lots of kids live with people with health conditions. Those people don't get a choice about quarantining. Most people with health conditions need to interact with people at least somewhat. IE getting food. If the grocery store clerk got covid from his kid, he can easily pass it on to people buying groceries.

But I again feel I need to point out, it isn't just frail people that die from this. Alot of otherwise healthy people have died from Covid. Many more have been made horribly sick, many of those now have permanent impacts to their health, particularly to their lungs.

Even if we could somehow completely isolate every "frail" person in the country (which we cant). Alot of people will still die if covid spreads out of control. And once the hospitals exceed capacity, then the death rate goes through the roof as people can't get sufficient medical care. Thats when you see large numbers of young people start dying from covid.

I didn't realize you actually had some sort of mental handicap. But after his discussion I see you really don't have a full comprehension of reality. Sorry, I will refrain from engaging with you in the future as it isn't fruitful to debate with people who are actually delusional.

it was concrete
if it was concrete then you will be able to answer the questions. Exactly what resources are they sending to schools? When are they sending it? What are the details of their safety regulations for schools? Will it apply to all schools, in all states?

If the speech includes that kind of detail, then it is concrete. If it does not have that detail, then it is a vague platitude.

@Dr.Franklin
eveyrthing was concrete
ohh, i see. you don't understand what concrete means. Let me provide examples.

If I say "i'm going to study for this test from 7 pm until 10 pm" that is a concrete plan. I have provided details of what I will do and when. If I say "yeah, i'll study at some point" that is not a concrete plan. I have given no details of what I will do or when.

In the speech you linked to, they said they would provide resources. They didn't say what resources they would provide. They didn't say when they would provide them or if every school would get them. That is not a concrete plan as it lacked detail of what they would do. It is a vague promise that they would do "something" without defining what that is or when they would do it.

They said they would come up with some recommendations for safety. They didn't say if these rules would be required. They didn't say if the rules would apply to all schools in every state. They didn't say what these rules would be. That is not a concrete plan as they provided no details about what their policies would be.

So no, they provided no concrete plans at all as far as I can tell. If I am wrong, please direct me to where they laid out the details of what resources they are planning to provide and what exactly the safety requirements will be for schools that are reopening.

The hell it doesn't. It is the most successful free-market system in the world
free market economies don't have governments picking winners and losers by giving huge tax incentives to specific companies. Free market economies don't have the government handing out trillions to corporations. America is not a free market economy.

What was meddling was Bush / Oba'a qualitative easement by the Fed printing funny money, and the Oba'a/Biden fiscal policy of cash for clunkers, et al.
ok, so you acknowledge there has been decades of the government meddling in the economy, but still insist it is a free market economy? Which is it? Does the government meddle in the economy, or is it a free market? It can't be both.

 As long as we continue to have innovative people in both commodity/product development, you'll have growth.
true, and the profits from that growth almost entirely end up in the hands of a tiny little slice of the population. As the top 1% soak up more and more of the money, the middle and working class get slowly squeezed out.

The system doesn't need to punish anybody. The system welcomes people who are willing to be ambitious, plan and execute.
of course it does. Because the system is designed to reward those who are already wealthy and punish those who are not. If you are rich and are not an idiot, then you will get richer. If you are poor, you need to work your ass off just to avoid starving. A huge percent of your income needs to go into feeding your family and keeping a roof over your head.

why is not not enough?
because there was nothing concrete in there at all. They said they would give resources. but what resources? when would they give them? They said they would take steps to make things safe. But what steps will they take? What policies will they enact to do that? They didn't say. They want you to believe they have a plan and are are going to provide resources, but they won't tell you what those resources or plans are. And since it will take weeks if not months to put those resources and policies in place, if they aren't telling us what the policies are right now, they either do no exist or they simply will not be in place when schools reopen.

And we should not accept schools re-opening if they have not put proper safety equipment and procedures in place to keep children and teachers safe.

Because Trump obviously is not in their elite club. Duh.
ok, he is in a slightly different elite club. One which believes in racism and cutting taxes on the rich. Sounds like the republican elites to me.

The evidence is becoming clearer and clearer. The Obama Administration used intelligence services to snag President Trump on obstruction charges, using a manufactured narrative of Russian collusion as their justification and Michael Flynn as their primary tool.
You do understand that "collusion" is not a legal term? There is no crime called collusion? The trump administration had dozens of contacts with the Russians when they swore over and over they had no contact with the Russians. That is collusion. But as I said, collusion is not a legal term.

You mean All those elites in both parties that vetoed anything Trump proposed because it would challenge their power?
Trump is himself an elite. He was born incredibly rich. He had vast wealth handed to him. Why do you think different groups of elites fighting for power means one of those groups of elites is somehow a normal guy?

@Dr.Franklin
yes they did do all of that
You have yet to provide evidence they did anything at all. If they did all of that then provide me a source showing they did. You are starting to really sound like a cultist. You keep insisting the glorious leader did these things, but reject all calls to show evidence that he did.

plus its the 14th of july
ok, that means it is pretty much too late to institute any changes. Some school boards open in a month. If you want to institute a national policy and install safety equipment in every school in the country, that is going to take weeks if not months. Those decisions need to be announced right now, if not weeks ago. It takes time to install that equipment, to train staff in the new procedures etc.

define vague
in this context, it means they are not providing details of the plan they claim to have. They aren't saying exactly what resources they will provide schools. They aren't saying exactly what safety guidelines they will be enforcing. Denmark did that. The said these are the rules, this is the safety equipment you need to have. That allowed them to reopen and keep everyone safe.

The fact that the Trump government won't say exactly what the safety regulations are and exactly what resources they are providing is a really, really bad sign. How hard is it to say we are putting in new sinks in every classroom, or we are providing masks to every teacher and student, or we are cutting class sizes in half to spread out students? Those are concrete steps they could take to help keep people safe. I see none of that in your source. They don't say any of that because they aren't doing any of that.

how do you know that?
I listened to some interviews from betsy devos for one. I skimmed through your source and they stayed vague. So if you want to prove to me that trump cares about the safety of teachers and kids, then do so. Show me what concrete policies they have put in place. Show me how they are taking the same levels of precautions that were successful in Denmark.

You keep insisting they exist and that they are easy to find. So why have you been unable to show me anything they have done to ensure the safety of children and teachers?

because its not that hard to look...
lol i did look. There are vague promises with nothing concrete. Just enough to try to convince people they have a plan, without making any promises that can be held against them when people start dying.

If it isn't hard to look then you will be able to tell me what concrete steps they have taken to ensure the safety of children and teachers. You can't because they haven't taken any.

You mean meekly voting for more power for the elites in Washington D.C. And fewer choices and liberty for yourself. I get it.

Learned helplessness in action.
you voted for trump. He is a billionaire who was born with a silver spoon in his mouth. You are constantly shilling for powerful elites to rule you.

they were there....
If they are there, then why are you unable to show me exactly what they are? The problem you are having is that they made vague statements about doing things safely and about giving resources to schools without every really saying what they would do or what resources they would give.

They are doing that because they don't actually have a plan. Their plan is to force schools to re-open, provide no rules for how they do it, then claim they are innocent when cases spike because they didn't make any rules. that way they can blame governors, school board, whoever they feel like when people die because of this.

Why is trump insisting that schools should reopen this fall?
-->
@Greyparrot
Hospitals are fine now.
in some areas they are. In some areas (like texas) they are at the breaking point.

Kids need to go back to school, and at-risk people need to be quarantined, including at-risk teachers.
sending kids back to schools without sweeping safety changes is a death sentence for thousands, if not 10's of thousands of people. Trump is willing to let those people die in a vain attempt to win re-election.

i did provide evidence
lol, the fact that you think that is sad. You provide unrelated photos and claimed that it was evidence. I could get a photo of trump with his face looking orange, then a clown with his face looking orange. Does this prove that trump is a doing children's shows?

Provide actual evidence that there is a link between the two things or stop repeating lies.

nope, they were rules
I don't see that anywhere in your source. Please show me exactly what rules the trump government has put in place to keep children safe. I assume you will refuse to do so since they have done nothing like that, but you are unwilling to consciously accept that.

They control your environment. They can dump toxins in your water, build a strip mine in a residential area etc.
That's a great way to make yourself poor and your lawyers rich.
Why? Companies wriggle out of this sort of stuff all the time. And with a weak central government, why would you think the courts would do anything about it?

They don't rush to fund an elected head of a small town. Why? Because government officials with little power are not worth purchasing. The ONLY way to reduce corruption is to take power away.
That is what is known as a power vacuum. You take it away from the government, and someone else will come in and take that power. There is no such thing as getting rid of power. We can only hope to control who has that power, and put proper limits and controls on them.

That's bullshit. First off, 95% of health problems can be avoided by personal choices that have absolutely nothing with a mythical "rich man"
what? that is just stupid on the face of it. Corona virus being a perfect example. You can do everything right and still get sick. The fact that people are dependent on their employer for healthcare means their employer has the however of life and death over their employees.

Second off, there are ridiculous amounts of ways for poor people to get the other 5% taken care of that don't include the mythical "rich man", including unlimited emergency care visits.
are you suggesting that the government should pay for emergency care? Don't you consider that communism?

Not if you want them to stay you don't. Employment is a contract where 2 people AGREE on something. You don't exert any more power over an employee that they do not willingly give you.
that would be true assuming they had other options. But since all employment scenario's involve your employer gaining power over you, it isn't really something that is optional.

Unfortunately, many employees were raised with learned helplessness. Just like you were, so they don't understand that the power is actually in your hands, not a rich person's hands.
I haven't learned helplessness. If I had I would meekly submit to the corrupt system as you would like people to do.

@Dr.Franklin
nope, they are IDENTICAL
so your answer is that you cannot provide any evidence at all that corona virus spread is linked to temperature? If that is the case, please just say so. If you think they are related, provide evidence. Don't just keep repeating yourself.

please provide a source proving the Trump government has mandated safety guidelines for schools before they re-open
its obvious
how so? I have not heard of any safety guidelines imposed by the trump government. How can it be obvious? Please tell me precisely what the trump government is doing to keep students and teachers safe.

I skimmed your source. there is nothing concrete in there that I see. I don't see anything stating what resources they are going to give schools. I see nothing about mandated rules for re-opening, just some vague references to some guidelines from the CDC.

So tell me, what exactly is the trump government doing to keep students and teachers safe. So far all I see is vague comments about resources and maybe some guidelines. I don't see anything concrete.

its why californa despite having a lockdown and seeing an increase!!
Those photos are literally nothing. The south is hot. The south has lots of corona virus cases. You have not provided 1 shred of evidence that those 2 things are related.

if they aren't much, then there should be no issue with the US government ordering that all these steps be taken. But they aren't going to do that because they don't give a shit and don't take it seriously.
they did....
please provide a source proving the Trump government has mandated safety guidelines for schools before they re-open

wrong, he offered a safe solution
what is that? Please provide sources to what the trump government has offered as a "safe solution"

Exactly what power specifically does ANY rich man have over you personally?
without a strong central government? They control your environment. They can dump toxins in your water, build a strip mine in a residential area etc. The reason they can't do those things (mostly) is that the government passes regulations for how much pollutants they can create, or where they can build disruptive businesses.

They control your safety. Without federal regulations on health and safety standards, they could force you to work whatever hours they want, in whatever unsafe conditions they want, etc. The government prevents them from doing that.

They control your health. Most people are dependent on their jobs for their healthcare insurance. this gives their boss huge leverage over them. Are you really going to take action trying to get a raise when he can just threaten to cut off your health insurance? Probably not.

Without a government to reign in the abuses of corporations, they can do a great many things to negatively impact your life.

Now, exactly what power specifically does EVERY rich man have over you personally?
currently, they fund the campaigns of politicians that will do anything in their power to prevent any real change being made. The rich like the current broken system because it benefits them immensely. So the rich have the power to fund (or de-fund) any politician they want. In many cases this makes or breaks a politician's career. This keeps them in line and continuing to favor the rich at the expense of everyone else.

Lastly, if at some point in your life, others view you as "rich", what powers do you think you could have over other people?
individually? I would have power over people I employed. However, the wealth of all the other rich people would drown out any attempt i made to bring about change. The wealthy class work together well when it comes to protecting their interests.
