I admit I'm pretty deadset on joebob being fake if he claims bodyguard as I'll assume a bodyguard thinking there's a nurse it too crazy even for a noob.

I didn't omgus 7k at all. The opposite happened and I encouraged 7k to contribute more since I know it's an instinct in anyone especially a new player to vote who votes them.

I did not say gut reads were cool day 1. I said gut reads are irrelevant and proven true by confirmation bias in those constantly relying on them always ignoring when they got it wrong.

This game I had a gut read that joebob was Town. I now expect that to be wrong as Joebob being a bodyguard thinking there is a Nurse seems an unrealistic error to consider. I believe at this point I already know the other scum member is joebob.

I valued both but I 100% know I am Town. I know I can carry games and I know it's better to be a factor in night phase 2 especially as a vanilla (but I'd think identical if I was PR) than to be dead and not have the mafia team debating whether to kill me or not.

I'm not sure what your point here is. The 14th amendment was designed to take away their right to run for office without them being criminally charged. That was what it was designed to do.

so, congress has the power to pass laws around enforcing this. So they could pass a law that could clarify how you know if someone engaged in insurrection. But they have not done so.  As it stands, the law is that anyone who engaged in insurrection is barred from holding public office. Unless congress passes a law to change enforcement or the constitution is changed, that is the law.

The problem is that statute probably has these things called definitions in them. It's harder to rewrite legal history with stuff like that.

The rich media makes claims that don't make any sense.  They called Trump a racist when (it might be true), but other 21st century presidents have done more racist things and the media hasn't called them out on it.

There are 2 possible reasons why McCain was going to vote against it and the only republican to do so:

1. He hated Trump that TDS got ahold of him (just like a lot of never Trumpers that call themselves republican but never give him credit on any times when they agree with him).
   
2. He was the most persuadable republican out of 50 senators (2% chance).
