Anyone else see last night's ep? I was confused af, blindsided as the one who went home, may someone please explain why they left? I didn't see why at all, maybe it was me not paying attention...

Y should I claim my role? 

It still matters tho bc it devalues one piece of evidence, the rest was v flawed anyway

The fact you're not voting me makes me suspect you are not the mafia. You could have waited for others to say something about me being guilty/innocent but you jumped in with Pie. Will back off accusations on you for now unless I see reason otherwise.

Yes because in my head I thot the mafia would use a fake claim to be TP with the hope the real TP would use fake claim to be Town.

I was using this logic to justify why someone would lie to be third party if there was only 1, someone else stated it was likely there was only 1 third party. I reasoned they would lie and take this risk assuming the other TP would lie.

I just sorta figured TP could do that, bc otherwise IDK what the point of TP would be?

I guess I can see how it'd be suspect I figured that? But that would imply I'm a secret TP not a secret mafia.

Bc in my head at the time I figured there was more likely less third party than mafia. Later I figured that might not be the case bc 1 Mastermind against everyone else is a set up IK That2 has been interested in b4 in RPs.

Anyone who knows me personally (crystalynx and that2) would know this about me: I make everything overly wordy and overprotective whether innocent or guilty bc I constantly overthink everything I say and think I have to correct it. Tis the reason I edited my message before I realized it was a rule. I have rampant anxiety OCD but that's besides the point. I do it in games like Among Us all the time.

I will stand that not knowing this about me, it is a valid reason to suspect me. Genuinely. But how do you think it's "scumslipping" ??? Like I can see it being suspicious but what 

I was not the first person to suspect a fake third party claim, I wrote that while catching up with the chat and I was replying to things I wanted to reply to in order of when they occured

Plus the game pretty much laid out I'm Bane, it directly quoted a line about the Dark Knight Rises when people voted me 4/5 (At least I think that's why it did?)

I'm Bane, I win with town. I'm going to leave the further specifics to my role secret for now since it was said it might be bad bc of targeting. Not to say I'm stronger or not, for all U know I could be trying to throw mafia off of stronger people. 

If there's one fake third party Supa is likely the real third party. Pie made the claim first, (I think) he could have been banking on the real third party using a fake claim (if they even claimed) to get away with his claim. I find it unlikely there's two third party but it's possible I think.

Naw I think it'd be bad to lynch pie if he's innocent, it is sus to believe there's two third parties but I can't really think of a reason to sus him beyond he said it first 

I'd still prefer the Vig tactic for verifying him, but testing the Deathproof still makes some sense as I was saying earlier. I'll hammer this when I get off work if nothing's changed.

Yeah, and I don't want to dig too deeply into mod psych. As it stands, I don't think you're scum, I just think it's plausible that you're hiding elements of your role.

MY 3RD ABILITY IS A DEATHPROOF IN DP1/NP1! My ability is confirmable this DP. Instead of Pie, we should pivot toward me to confirm my role. I also don't want to waste this ability by not getting targeted in the NP

But on the other hand, a TP with a vig shot and a deathproof? That sounds very much like a hostile TP.

My abilities are 1x Killing Joke (which is a 1x Vig), 1x Laughing Gas, (1x Jailer), and 1x The Escape (1xdeathproof during the night/day phase) Note with this I am not sure if it is passive for not with the Escape

What parts of your role did you leave out for "strategic purposes"?

Regarding the claims on the table so far, they are both a little off, though it's difficult to say if it's more likely that That2 would have made them this way or not. I can't dismiss the possibility that they're fake claims, but if they are, giving them this early doesn't make a whole lot of sense. 

Still, I can't shake how strange they both are. Batman isn't an Arkham inmate, though given how often he goes there, particularly in the games, it's not entirely out there. The Pacifist role still doesn't sit well with me, since it seems like someone just glued the name "Pacifist" onto an entirely separate role and, given Batman's character, it's not exactly accurate, either. The "no kill" rule isn't exactly something he's held to throughout his many incarnations, but even beyond that, he's certainly no pacifist.

The Joker has a couple of oddities as well. He does drift between alliances to some extent, though I'd expect him to win independently given that he rarely gels well with other villains and never stays. It's also an odd choice because I'm noting a trend of characters with an alter ego. The Joker doesn't have one. I agree with Earth that we don't want to reveal too much information about our characters and color can be rather revealing with some characters (though I will say green is common enough that isn't not a problem), but it would be nice to know if anyone else has a character without an alter ego, just to see if this is actually a distinction or not. I don't want to get caught up on theories about a theme split.

Speaking of which, I haven't checked yet. @That2, is there a theme split?

My concern with Pie though is that we can not test his role because he claims he can get "modkilled," which means there is no way to confirm this.

Is this intentional? The odds are so low but there are fingers. Behaviorally Pie reads town but in regards to his role it's extremely SOP/scummy. I am lost on what to do 

I am also not opposed to getting Pie modkilled as well with his role

1) he has a role that is essentially confirmable 

2) if the modkill does not happen, pie should be the lynch

3) if pie does get modkilled, we can use that as our lynch and vtnl then. if the hammer goes thru, pie is our scum for lynch in dp2

that is what I am thinking to do

Batman makes sense as a TP. Either way, TP = scum and if you think Sups is a Lyncher, we can get Sups first because he's also TP lol.

I think that one is really overhyped tbh, it could be close but I think R’s have a pretty firm ceiling in that state around 46-47% that won’t be enough to win
