It’s possible Speed could be claiming his real character. The role doesn’t fit though. I’d expect Speed to be a JOAT cause there are 3 Hyenas so 3 separate characters and hence three roles. It’s also possible it’s a fake role though. Speed couldn’t have know that he’d be the only one with a group of characters as scum. It’s possible he could be Scar himself but just chose to claim Hyenas cause he didn’t know the theme.
The problem is that his justification is not even close to what anyone has.

Only thing with Speed that's throwing me off is that if he is scum is why if he was actually Simba, would claim the hyenas knowing it would be an outlier. If he doesn't know the theme split and was from early on saying his character was a group, why would he claim that versus claiming Scar. While yes, the risk of being CC'd is a viable option, but I don't think it'd be proper modding to include 2 people from the same show as opposite factions
He wouldn’t have known that. At that point all you had claimed was Miller as Negan. He’d just be claiming something evil cause he had a character that was probably good. He went with something inconsequential because Scar could have a reasonable justification. Plus we’re assuming that he is a Lion King character.

Exactly. His relationship with Judith really changed him after he was captured. Spoiler alert but he helped kill Alpha in the Whisperer Arc.
Which is why miller fits. But he's a polarizing figure. My theory is that every other town character is polarizing. Main may be a bad word

Bruh, a justification is what links your role to your character. You're thinking of justifying my actions in my pm. They're completely different
These are the problems with your claim and justification
A.) You claimed 3 separate individuals as one whole group
B.) Everyone’s PM so far states that their character is a villain but their actions were justified by Lunatic in a perverted way. Yours doesn’t fit that per your own admission - more on that later below
C.) You said you knew the theme to be good vs bad but clearly you didn’t know the theme and you were harping on me about it. If it wasn’t what I said about perversion then where did the whole starving thing come from.

D.) You said this but then you say this:

This is unhelpful. It proclaims to mafia that you will follow a wagon on an un-counterclaimed townie, and therefore provides them with an incentive to build that wagon; and prevent any alternative wagon from forming.

The miller is only an easy fake claim for scum if they know that there isn't a miller in the game that will counterclaim them, and mafia do not often have that information.Consider how it would play out. Mafia fake claims a miller. Miller CCs. One of them is lynched. The other's honesty or lack of it is confirmed.I am not persuaded.
