This is hard to read.

Is there a way to see who's liked a post? I've seen a couple I'd like to know, although I'm not sure how relevant it would be.

In particular, I'm really inclined to believe him when he says that his pm said "short sword" (two words) when it should have been one word. Of course, it could still be a fakeclaim.

This doesn’t even make sense. It would have be WF as he is the one who also saw the post as well. Luna and everyone else is saying the mod responded to the fact he deleted the post is confirmation

5. Pie - ?

Asking for feedback on Pie from players who are more familiar with his style. Is he normally so bombastic?  The very brazen and decisive reads make me lean town because scum are usually more risk-averse DP1 but is this just his playstyle?

Like what are you talking about about with tiers? 

If you are talking about whether something like a short sword can have a different range of quality (tiers) than okay that's common sense. If you asked me if my character Is teired  I wouldn't even know what the fuck you were talking about. If their is talking about range of quality then it's an item and like all items I assume some range of quality

TLDR 

I asked him for permission to add Castin to a pm since we were a hydra or if he wanted to be there and he said he would make the PM and to make sure we friended him. I was like LOL thanks for confirming us and the he deleted it

Because why would a townie need to look anything up to answer questions about their on when the mod provided them all the info they need to know in their role PM? The only time I look at wikis is when I am scum researching for information to support a fake claim.

I believe JoeBob said he saw Mharmans deleted message. Anyways it didn't matter cuz Mharman essentially town confirmed him with his statement

I hate 532. I understand that bussing has gotten mafia a lot of wins recently but to have a hard bus on each other as scum buddies in DP1 is not only insanely risky, but no logical sense at all. Even if I am looking at it from Pie's lense. At most you have 1 is scum and a 1v1 trade. This just feels extremely gun hoe and eager to stir mislynches, and I kinda have an FoS on Pie

You are a shortsword. This item can be found in different variations, but most well known for the Copper version, the one in which you start out with. Because of that, you are a vanilla

Only hesitation is why wouldn't Vader use a fake claim if scum have them? And maybe there could be multiple vanillas in a 15-player game. But I don't think we're getting a better lynch today.

A thought I had recently when I was looking at Savant is that at first I town read him for being the first person to claim an NPC instead of an item. But then I realized that it's a null read at best, because when it comes to theme analysis (if Luna is right about there being three scum), then they have access to six genuine claims (three real and three fake). They know waaaay more about the theme than any of us right off the bat and are unlikely to make silly role errors - in fact they'd be less likely to do it than town.

So the overall Supa issue is that he claimed an item, was unsure whether shortsword was a category of sword or whether Mikal was asking him about the different types of swords (iron sword, gold sword, whatever) apparently mentioned in his PM - supposedly it was written 'short sword' in the PM but should have been 'shortsword', an error on the mod's part.

Without the mod response difference confirmation, the case becomes a lot weaker tbh. As I said earlier, Supa feels honest to me.

I’m town lock and was heavy pushing a bus on Luna. 

High probability scum wants to join the bus. 

So if he flips scum, I think Luna is town lock. No reason for Luna to bus him out of no where. Could have redirected to anyone but just to trade a scum teammate for a town read when he’s already still sus and prob would still be sus. Doesn’t make sense 

If Luna is town locked. Someone joining my wagon (albeit for different reasons ) is prob scum since 4 or 5 people were wanting to kill him. 

Yeah I’m down to kill supa. There are like 12 variations and no reason for Mharm to just focus on the copper portion of it. He would have just said his role is copper short sword. 

I would reconsider this but the fact that supa is saying the mod told him that he’s not a category when the literal wiki says he is and the mod told me he could not answer this for players and links me the wiki.

I'm caught up. Reconsider this Luna read, dude. I've literally never seen scum beg to be lynched (plz find one example if you can). And Luna is choosing to go nuclear just because they're being scum read. If Luna was scum, they could play it cooler and let their scum team help them out.

Also, this strategy never works for avoiding lynches. Someone will be like "go ahead lynch me idc" and we lynch them and they're town. Almost every time. I will not be voting Luna today unless there's a very good reason to change my mind.

That to me comes off as scum Luna to answer skeps question earlier. I may be wrong and I’d have to go look but I feel like the blow up throw your hands up is slam thing him and I both tend to do as scum to feign sincerity 

I can only speak to the obvious, dude. I'm not expecting you to justify the existence of a Strengthener, but the dejected throw up your hands response is not exactly helping your case, at least not with me. Sure, you could have come up with something better. You certainly have a tendency as scum to make risky claims. It's entirely plausible, though, that you were given Strengthener as a fake claim and went with it. Or you decided to play it safe with this claim for what you anticipated would be a longer haul game, given the number of players. I'm not saying this suits your usual scum playstyle, but I also can't ignore it.

And no, I haven't claimed to know anything about the theme this entire game. That's been part of Mikal's basis for pushing you, not mine.

Wow you too huh? This might be the first time I’ve been mislynched in longer than I can remember, not to mention it’s day phase 1. And not a shred of a case against me is based on behavior either. This is pretty unfortunate. 

Thoughts on Vaders 226 and 229?

He first claims he thought his pm had two words than later clarifies that it was a difference in the wiki as opposed to why wouldn’t he just read it out of his role pm lol

I didn’t write my role PM the mod did. Maybe there’s just not a lot to say about looms.

You are going to hate me for this but that makes you sus you even more. Loom is early game and yea it uses silk but that justification is almost right off the wiki and mine is much more simplistic and not near as much info it it and has a custom justification. 

I am the loom, a crafting station that can be crafter or found in underground cabins that crafts apparel primarily using silk that strengthens your character. Thus I am the strengthener and can choose a player each night to guarantee the effect of their night action.

This isn't a terrible suggestion, but I'll be honest and say that I HIGHLY doubt that Cerulean of all people would make such an obvious blunder right at the opening of a new game. He's a much better player than that.

It's also kind of ironic for me to be making this argument now, because just in the last game, I had a big argument with Pie about how blatant scum slips are very rare.

I think you’re barking up the wrong tree here and focusing too much on details. Old DDO town tend to gambit a lot and there is reasons for them doing so. You don’t see it as much with the current player pool but town gambits were more common on DDO and the more you focus on the details the more likely you are to risk exposing said gambit. I’d focus more on thinking “why we he do this as scum” than trying to catch him in some kind of slip.

Answered the first two already. I figure im only one of several JOATs but the justification for me at least is that pressure plates are multipurpose.

I took a gamble claiming my character because I believe it sounds rather scummy, on account of pressure plates being a big pain in the arse within the game. I claimed my role because of the rather OP but volatile nature of my role combination, the worst thing that could happen for town is the doctor tries to protect us both up or for me to get lynched early on before I can get some reads on people.

The mafia could come for me and sacrifice one of their members but 1 for 1 exchange is an outcome I can live with. Maybe they have a roleblocker too but a gamble is a gamble.

First of all, crafting tables are called work benches if we go by in-game vernacular and they are the most important item in the game.

It makes perfect sense to be an alchemy table or a crystal ball rather than ‘work benches’ as an entire category.

Acting as though claiming to be a specific bench is akin to claiming to be a red bird and a blue bird is such a stretch. Add to the fact that you initially thought he claimed his full character as ‘crafting station’ which isnt a thing while knowing that there are multiple types of pressure plates makes me think that you are fake scum hunting.

Also, you keep trying to make me, who has hard claimed cop, out to be scum for nonsense reasons. I am THE pressure plate.  Not pressure plate. Not pressure plates.
