I don't like the no lynch idea. Even lynching a townie gives us info.

Because you're afraid of getting lynched based on WyIted's reads. You know we are likely to lynch someone WyIted has not town read, so you want to avoid lynching or lynch one of those other people.

1. Most of his defenses have been calling me ridiculous without really elaborating, which I have noticed scum tend to do. He knows I'm getting strong scum vibes from him and that I've sometimes been right before, so there's no reason for him to just dismiss me out of hand if he's really town. Yet that's exactly what he's doing.

2. After Wyted said he was sure about his town reads and claimed early, Pie began buddying him and trying to sus the other people WyIted hadn't town read in order to keep POE as large as possible.

Whiteflame claimed cop, yet Pie still considers him super scummy based purely on character connection (which has repeatedly not been a good way to identify scum).

Town Pie would be against lynching WF this day phase with an early cop claim, but scum Pie doesn't have a choice if he doesn't want to be targeted by WyIted—he must get us to lynch someone else WyIted is not town reading, so he's throwing suspicion at all of those people.

The last part about scum getting some sort of advantage if I recruit them I didn't mention it earlier but figured I should now, because I get a feeling they already know or have some hints of that.

I seem to remember Whiteflame saying he wasn't very familiar with the game and I would expect a fake claim from someone unfamiliar with the game to be something basic like a unit or building (I am not a unit or building and neither is Wylted so those aren't the only things Lunatic thought of).

Well now I've got a pretty good reason in that he's sussing the claimed cop.

That should make him everyone's top scum read. Pie knows he has to sus all of WyIted's other non-town-reads because one of them is probably getting lynched today.

Earlier he tried to get me to accuse 420, and he instantly used my answer to scum read me.

I think setting something up like that would likely come from scum who wants a reason to get another player lynched.

Admittedly haven't used ChatGPT much, so I had to try multiple inputs before it spit out something that looked different enough that it could be called paraphrasing:

The way it's framed in my PM is that they can protect buildings out of range of other defensive buildings. I assumed that meant they had extended range, hence my paraphrasing.

The idea is that they're identified before arriving at the base. I assumed that meant that the player could see them and know what kind of attack was coming.

The post does mention the limited number of units as a basis for the limited use case. If they're a part of the range aspect, it's not mentioned.

I'm the Guard Post, and my role is the Cop. The role has a limited use case to it, though I think providing that information is net negative to town, so unless someone has a good reason for me to provide it, I'm going to leave my claim here.

Also, WF's behavior wouldn't give him away as scum even if he was scum. When WF says he's busy because he has an event, he means it. He could be scum or town, but something as simple as inactivity/buddying wouldn't give him away.

I felt a bit of buddying from whiteflame earlier as well so it's why he has been on my radar a bit. He usually ignores my antics and the back and forth made me suspicious, you know plus POE and all of that

Just think of me as super motivated to catch scum, because if they have a roleblocker left tonight, I die tomorrow. So when I say I scum read Pie like my life depends on it, you know I mean it.

Everyone bookmark post 175. I think the best play there is to leave Savant off of the chopping block for now but if he does not prove his affiliation in DP 2 then assume he is 100% scum.
