I’m not mad at you. If you keep playing, you’ll learn from past mistakes. I still have some room to gain experience myself.

@ComputerNerd
Yes. Post #240 for more details. I was just trying to get you to be active, a character claim was the last thing I wanted from you, and a power role claim was even worse.
Oh well. What has happened had happened. Just do what you can and cross your fingers you get lucky in the night.

@ComputerNerd
Ok this is a noob mistake that I won’t hold against you too much but if you have a power role as town, keep it secret for some time. Mafia is 100% going to kill you in the next night phase (NP1) now, likely nullifying whatever power role you have.
Unless your power role passively kills mafia, then you want to bait mafia.
As for the current situation: If you are a vigilante, I would say don’t use it, if you are a bomb, don’t reveal that. If you are what I think you are, use it even though you’re probably dead anyways.

Good for now. Seems to be a huge advisor to Marty, this Helen

Also looking at the show on Wikipedia, I think we'll see at least some of these guys, so it may be in our interest to preemptively slot them into an affiliation:
Marty Byrde (likely town)
Wendy Byrdy
Ruth Langmore
Jonah Byrde (probably vanilla town if present)
Camino Del Rio
Jacob Snell (likely mafia)
Darlene Snell (likely mafia)
Roy Petty (power role?)

Fair. Do you think you could get off of Grey real quick just to add pressure to Earth and then get back on Grey once we get answers from them?

Guys we still have all of Sunday. No need to lock in until later in Sunday. I think we just need to quickly pressure some players.
Oh, and then lynch someone if we get an obvious scum slip from them. If we don't, Grey is the best option.
Priorities for me are:
1. Pressure Earth
2. Pressure Earth more (if needed)
3. Pressure Airmax
4. Lynch (Earth or Airmax if we get a scum slip, Grey if we don't)

1. I don't think he's lurking. I think he just does not give a fuck.
Then either way (mafioso or not giving a fuck) he is being a detriment to town and we should pressure him, too. If you want a game with other active players, get rid of the inactives or pressure them into activity.

My hyper-posting wasn't out of pressure I felt. It was out of boredom. A game with few active players at the time does little to keep me engaged, so I made my own engagement.

So my strongest town read is Disc. Coming up with the idea to gender claim was honestly a great idea, and I can’t see how mafia can abuse it (not with this theme), no matter how much paranoia I can develop at times. Aside from that he has been consistent in just about everything he posts.
I’ve posted about this before, but I believe Grey is a Survivor. Too risky to try as mafia. Period.
ComputerNerd is a tossup. No activity.
Airmax might be mafia given the lurking Supa pointed out, but there isn’t much else.
The more I think about it, the less I think there is hard evidence on Sui being scum. He contributed to the gender claim idea, claiming male in post #84. As for his theme knowledge, I have seen theme knowledge related contributions from him in Posts #64 and #112. While it isn’t much, he hasn’t posted much in this game in general. Unlike Airmax, there hasn’t been any lurking, at least not that I see.
Mikal has a lot of logic I agree with. Pretty much everything he has said has made a lot of sense to me. He is hesitant to condemn Sui but doesn’t outright defend him, and his presentation of Earth as a better push target also makes way more sense. While agreeing with me isn’t a complete town read, it certainly isn’t a scum read either; considering that some of those statements of his go against the grain of what looks like knee jerk reactions from other players, I especially don’t think he is buddying anyone. I lean town on him.
I honestly can’t read Pie right now, not based on any of his posts. His thoughts on me are not an indicator of affiliation. I am NOT going to be OMGUSing someone again.
Earth is interesting to me. His post asking if there is a womanizer in the game makes no sense to me. Perhaps if he was a character who was the victim of such an act the idea of them trying to analyze the theme would make sense. I would like a character claim from them. Maybe a role claim as well if the character claim yields more questions than answers.
Supa reads null. He has a good point on Airmax though.
Badger honestly seems scum to me. Earth is someone we should be pressuring (Airmax for activity + lurk too) and he blatantly attempts to shift the focus away from both Airmax and Earth to focus Sui, someone who we have no concrete evidence on. No hesitation whatsoever. He wants to lynch someone, but his only reasoning is “too much energy from first post”. You’d think even if he wanted to keep the game interesting he’d want to pick someone with more inconsistencies, like maybe Earth. Also I hate his logic on relying on the mafia team to kill inactives. They are not going to do that and I think Grey is still a better lynch he could’ve thrown out for the sake of a lynch. Being survivor, he might as well be inactive because his life contributes nothing to town. His death does a little though since a lynch on him has been a key discussion this DP. Even still he doubles down on Sui, when it is still too early to lock in right now.
Whiteflame is weird to me. While the debate around pressuring Earth or Sui is key, he seems to be suspicious of both. Mikal seems the be as well, but he does more to outline his reasoning, which I think is only because he is more active in general. Ever so slightly town. Could honestly be null.

I think I have pinged all of the current inactives. Now I wait. :/

Unless Airmax refuses gender claim. That can lead to more questioning of him.

Also, if we’re pressuring Airmax for a gender claim more than we are for activity I still like a policy lynch on Grey better.
Created:

Honestly I think 4/7 is the best pressure we can get on Airmax (or any inactive). 5/7 might lead to a scum insta-hammer and I’m not a fan of it since I like the idea of lynching Grey over an inactive. Lynching an inactive tells us even less than lynching Grey. And hopefully any inactive we would’ve lynched would have a chance to be more active next DP, which is more than Grey can contribute to town.

I kinda like pressuring ComputerNerd for activity. Apparently his activity last game was shoddy, and he has done nothing to improve from that so far.

I had a plan for every Pokemon of every battle in the League and Survivor was key to dealing with a lot of the Pokemon from Bertha and Flint's teams, so now I have to get more creative with my planning.

If Grey is to believed (and I think he is), what do we do with him?
A Survivor only cares for surviving, regardless of who wins between town and mafia. In a MYLO/LYLO scenario the scum and town could be obvious, and he wouldn't care. He could just flip a coin and that could be game. Still, I have no idea if mafia wants to kill him either, since they would probably be more pre-occupied with killing townies. On the other hand, they may have a desire to kill him if he starts voting with town, or if it benefits them to get a mislynch on him late game.
Honestly I wonder if we should just lynch him now so he can't make it to the late game. Too many things can go wrong for town if he makes it too far. Between him not participating in critical town pushes on an obvious scum, him being mislynched if it comes down to the wire, and him actively voting against town to avoid being killed by the scum team, the possibilities of what chaos he can cause are concerning.
A policy lynch on Grey would mean no scum or townie is lynched this DP (meaning less info for town early on and a guaranteed non-scum lynch) but further chaos down the road is avoided. Thoughts?

Fair. Looking at the claim of Survivor, it does match up well with the character of Charlotte Byrde too.

Correction: Nope. 7 men 3 women. Still, I just don't think mafia gains enough information from this to try suggesting it.

I don't remember how good of a scum player Disc is (pretty good, I think), but I just can't see this "gender claim" thing being a mafia plot. I think mafia would be trying other things to look more town than a risky trade-off. I think my wariness of the strategy only comes from paranoia, which I will be ignoring from now on.
As such I'm going to town read Disc for now.

I see how the whole "gender claim" thing works and I am wary of mafia abusing this tactic, but I just don't see how they can. We know the show isn't pretty dead even in gender ratio, as proven by the claims so far, and it still has all the benefits Disc gave, so I'll go with it.
My character is male.

@Mikal
The issue is, he (Grey) would not lie and claim survivor as mafia because hes a 100 percent lynch at some point and he would not say this as town. So 100 percent telling the truth
He wouldn't say it as mafia, I can agree with that. I can't say for certain what his exact plan is though. I don't think any survivor third party would want to say this either if they know they are going to be lynched for it. What do you think of the prospect of a jester?

For clarification:
I’ve been told that when designing a game, the number of mislynches a town can make and still survive should be equal to the amount of scum. However many player numbers make this equation imperfect, since not all of them can provide a magic number like that. 12 is one of those numbers. 2 scum gives us 3 survivable mislynches and 3 scum gives us 2 survivable mislynches.
So I guessed 3 based on a 2v10 being really fricking hard for mafia even with strong mafia power roles. 3v9 is much more balanced.
