We probably should still solve the question of who’s scummier between Whiteflame and Barney. Based on theories and mechanics, it’s Whiteflame. I think Barney’s behavior is worse. It’s probably both of them.

If the theme is something else it’s probably Greyparrot-Joebob-Whiteflame-Barney anyway.
But if Austin is suddenly included who do I remove? Could be either tbh. I would be more wary of Whiteflame in that case I suppose. I guess Barney does have the claimed roleblocks going for him. And he’s been a target of Greyparrot for a long time.

I think Whiteflame and Barney are probably a pair. In every world, both are scum.
Except one, and that’s the world where Austin is scum.
Because then it’s Greyparrot or Lunatic plus Joebob plus the aforementioned Austin.

Let me put it this way. Every townie dead has had the PM character of at least one other townie. No one alive has said they have Victim Complex in double brackets. The odds that Victim complex not being part of any townie’s PM is basically none. Not to mention his role is basically another Universal Backup. Further the fact that he’s claiming he has no double brackets in his PM AND JoeBob said the same thing. There’s no world where WF is town. Idk about Barney, but I cannot fathom WF being town (and neither can Casey).
From that angle it’s probably just Greyparrot Barney Whiteflame Joebob.
If you want to include Lunatic you have to swap out Greyparrot… which leaves Barney still in.
Here’s another thing: If the link between Joebob and Greyparrot (Frozen heart) doesn’t confirm they’re paired, why would the lack of links confirm separation?

Lunatic might not be the most likely. Greyparrot would’ve had to have coordinated the whole thing with Lunatic.
Yeah that’s not possible cause then I can’t explain my results on Lunatic. Greyparrot and Lunatic can’t be on a scum team together.
But that means we don’t lynch Lunatic here and can choose between Whiteflame and Barney... which would mean Greyparrot is distancing from both of them if he’s scum.
Which means what’s giving me pause on Barney is negligible. I still think the theme has something to do with mortality, and the only one who hasnt claimed something that’s implicated is Whiteflame… of course I need to assume I’m wrong on Austin and he’s scum in that case. Which would make for Joebob-Austin-Barney-Lunatic.
Honestly I think from no matter what angle you attack it from, Barney is scum.

Alright. I’m gonna fess up. I wanted to see if there was a way Austin was hiding some strengthener or doctor or some legendary blessing or some kind that would indicate my results couldn’t have fudged with and that Lunatic really did waive his action.
I’m just gonna keep it simple and say no.
I lied my about visiting Austin. My true targets were Whiteflame and Lunatic. Figured that if my results weren’t messed up Whiteflame would be notified about it tonight.
Seems so unlikely, but I wanted to min-max for the chance of me being wrong on Barney-Whiteflame-Lunatic. But the more I opened doors to those theories where the scum team isnt those three- the harder it became to justify my plan and the harder it became for me to even think of a good scum team.
And now that not having a weird role name is NAI, I have little to go off of anyway. So idk and I’m gonna keep it simple and say Austin is town… Greyparrot probably is too because his role was stolen…
Although that just beings PoE back to where we started, except the names of roles don’t matter.
But then Lunatic actually did steal the role and roleblocked Barney, his teammate. I guess per your definition of passive it could still be passive. Whiteflame would still be scum.
Although should I honestly consider Greyparrot doing such a plan where he fake claims at the start, and then fakes having his roles stolen? I think the second part is a bit much for him, and I don’t know if a teammate would plan that. I guess, but then who is town if he’s scum? Who among Barney-Whiteflame-Lunatic is least likely to be town then?
That’s where I’m at now.
Lunatic seems most likely to me, but he has the chance to verify.
Whiteflame is possible, although Greyparrot has been pushing for him. The odds of him verifying his role are low since even though I targeted him, I probably visited Pie/Savant.
Barney isn’t ever gonna verify. Let’s be real. It wouldn’t even make him town confirmed. The only thing that gives me pause is that Greyparrot is pushing hard for his lynch. Could be a distance play.

GP is not clear. A quick google search reveals “Jesus’ frozen heart” may have something to do with a myocardial infarction… so, something about His death. I thought it was some morbid conspiracy theory, but mortality would’ve been a theme regardless.
Note that when I say mortality is a theme, it doesn’t have to be THE theme. Multiple different angles to approach the theme split, but it’s something down those lines.
Anyway, you think Joebob borrowed a fake claim from something the scum team actually had, correct?

A very fair assumption as far as I’m concerned. I would’ve rb’ed Austin NP1 in scum’s shoes, assuming Austin is town. Probably was the case since am Austin isn’t implicated by theme and I dont have a real reason to scumread.
