WF being the redirected (or bus driven now that I think about it) target is definitely sus. I’m not sure on earth. They’ve been hiding in the back a lot… not sure what to make of the Godot claim

Yeah you mean Owen. I literally just explained why.

Would you be fine with character claiming?
I’ll consider it.

@Lunatic
Because like I’ve been saying the last two games. I like at least some lynch DP1 for information. I think I voted after Joebob said that there was no way I’d get people to go for savant in 5 minutes and I knew he was right, so I voted. I was hoping the flip would at least confirm magistrate was bs, but as it turns out, they’re both in this game

I was gonna ask if Whiteflame was your intended target… glad you weren’t muted, which was another concern of mine

@Savant
You’re confirmed now. I was looking into the wiki and saw Edgeworth manipulated evidence in court once. I had a feeling he would be in this game, and I redirector made the most sense.
But wait, doesn’t that mean scum team doesn’t have a roleblock?

@Lunatic
I respected the hell out of your unwillingness to claim and I thought it was townie. I felt no scum that exists would actually refuse to claim there.
So I started with a new idea… what if I look at who I think is trying to fit in the most? That led me to Savant, because I townread Wylted. Even after Austin admitted he was bullshitting, I still thought the scumread on Savant was reasonable. Savant was the one operating within the parameters of the claims of 3 the most, and I thought that it was trying to blend in. Also, given that Austin was bullshitting, your willingness to look elsewhere made for sense, which ended up making Savant’s idea that you were just trying to escape POE make less sense, and I also contributed to my newfound scumread on him.
I also didn’t like magistrate from a mechanical standpoint. I felt it was redundant given protective roles and a claimed innocent child.
And about the claim: I wasn’t sold on it. Athena’s whole gimmick is her mood necklace and her emotion stuff. I felt “just saving people who were assumed guilty” was a justification better used on another character within Ace Attorney. Admittedly, I misread Savant’s post on his full claim, because the justification was never about saving someone, it was about just knowing they were innocent… and vowing to save others in the same situation in the future.

@WyIted
I had a strong feeling Owen was a noob who messed up and people overreacted to his noobiness.
But I’d rather take a lynch than not… given the flip of Innocent Child, a role that protects a townie from lynch, I’m not a fan of magistrate, a role that does the same. I wasn’t a fan of it late DP1 either, because it would be redundant in the face of any protective roles that may exist in this game.

So six years to change for you, and three years to change and then change again for Crooks.
It’s a fringe possibility in his case but it’s so unlikely.
And about the primaries, that’s what I’m saying.

@cristo71
There’s evidence to back the idea of Crooks registering for the party he doesn’t philosophically align with.
Remember in 2022 when Pennsylvania Dems were asking their voter base to vote in the Republican primaries?
The article says few of them heeded the call, but if anyone was gonna do it, it’s probably the guy who donated $15 to ActBlue and shot at Trump.
He probably stayed registered for the reason Pie suggested.

@IwantRooseveltagain
Actually that was sarcasm but you’re not bright enough to pick up on it. But you agree that a smart person can’t be a Republican.
What??? IWRA being sarcastic??? No way!!! I could never have known! He only used sarcasm several times yesterday and today, how could I possibly know he’d be doing it again?
Damn you and your superior sarcasm! You truly know sarcasm when you see it! You would never miss a sarcastic remark!
Obvious sarcasm on my part aside (because I have to tell you since you’re the one who has actually missed sarcasm), my point stands. We are barely talking about Crooks now because you know the evidence favors what I’ve said. You’re just butthurt.
Also, it’s funny how you keep trying to one-up me in the sarcasm department after I pantsed you in front of the site yesterday.
He obviously contributed to Act Blue as a false flag so people would think he was a Democrat and blame the left. He’s a cunning Republican Never Trumper.
Yes clearly. A man like you would never say a conspiracy theory while calling others out tor it, right?
Of course Crooks was a conservative planning this three years in advance! How could I not see that?! He wasn’t too much of a little bitch to touch a rifle, after all!
Again, this is obvious sarcasm that you might miss. Just trying to help you out here.
Were you at the Capital on January 6th? Why not? Are you not a patriot? Are you a chicken?How many years has it been since January 6th? Still no accountability. The system is rigged. 2A is the only way to stop Trump and the MAGA MORONS.Republicans have said the elections are rigged so we can’t rely on that process anymore.
To be honest, I didn’t care enough to attend Jan 6. I’m not convinced the election was stolen, nor was I willing to abandon what I was doing for a few days. You’re the only one between the two of us who thinks peace isn’t an option; I wouldn’t recommend it, but I can’t stop you from being braver than me.
However, I doubt you’d do anything right now. You’re a shit excuse for a human being who might do something horrible in the future, but for now, you’re also a sad, angry loser who likes blowing off steam on DART all day long (if your one month ban didn’t make it obvious enough).

@IwantRooseveltagain
Well this guy was smart and a good student so that does make it less likely he’s a Republican, I’ll give you that.
That’s a funny way of saying “You were right and I’m butthurt about it.”
The MAGA MORONS would. He’s likely a very patriotic American who was concerned about a wanna be dictator coming to power with the help of the country’s dumbest citizens
Go ahead. Try and follow in his footsteps. I dare you. It won’t end well for you, but if you really think that way, whatever. I wouldn’t genuinely recommend it, though.
A former President who was impeached twice, told a BIG LIE and tried to subvert the election in 2020. The purpose of the Second Amendment according to MAGA MORONS is to stop tyranny. Trump is a tyrant in waiting.
*To stop tyranny, where all peaceable means have been exhausted. Our country still has a free and fair election coming in November, and we still have the rule of law intact. Our government is not oppressing our free speech, nor are they raiding our towns for our guns.

And that’s significant because….
… is it really not obvious enough for you?
Here you go. Lol.
Do you spend most of your free time thinking about wack job conspiracy theories?
AP News is posting conspiracy theories now?
Don’t look at me. You were the one concluded the guy was a “jilted Trump lover” with no evidence yesterday.
Most normal people would assume he’s a lunatic on the fringes of the left. Apparently that’s not reasonable to you, since that idea would make your side of the left look bad.
He’s a patriot exercising his Second Amendment remedies that Trump himself has promoted in the past.
Gee, I love it when the 2A gives me the right to gun down a former president on the campaign trail!
But I’m sticking with my first answer, you’re a MAGA MORON
Despite all evidence. LOL.
Created:

@IwantRooseveltagain
Right, because you’re a MAGA MORON
Or because he donated $15 to ActBlue in 2021, was encouraged by Pennsylvania Democrats to vote in Republican primaries in 2022, and shot at Donald Trump yesterday.

@IwantRooseveltagain
Oh ya, all progressive democrats register as Republicans. I did it myself.
Never claimed you or most did. Just Crooks.
(that was sarcasm genius)
Woah! What a shocking revelation!
Only a loser would use that term, let alone twice.
Awwww… is someone pressed?

@IwantRooseveltagain
Congratulations, you read up to the third sentence of an article until you found something that satisfies your confirmation bias. The fourth sentence? Nah, you don’t need to read that… what other information could possibly be of importance?
That was sarcasm by the way, in case you couldn’t tell.
From the same article you posted:
FEC contribution records also show a single $15 ActBlue contribution earmarked to Progressive Turnout Project, a liberal voter turnout group.
This CNN article gives us the month of this donation: January 2021.
So this dude donated to ActBlue on 2021, registered Republican sometime in between his 18th birthday and the present, and shot at Trump yesterday.
So either Thomas Matthew Crooks has the politics of a metronome, or he’s just a progressive Dem who registered Republican.
Which makes sense when you consider:
1. Pennsylvania has closed primary voting.
2. Crooks is from the Pittsburgh metro area and a county that is a strong Democratic stronghold.
Look at the politicians of Allegheny County:
County Executive:
Sara Innamorato (D)
County Council:
Bethany Hallam (D), At-large
Samuel DeMarco III (R), At-large

David Bonaroti (D), District 13
Other elected county offices:
Controller, Corey O’Connor (D)
District Attorney, Stephen A. Zappala, Jr. (Forward Party)
Sheriff, Kevin M. Kraus (D)
Treasurer, Erica Rocchi Brusselars (D)
State representatives:
Aerion Abney, Democratic, 19th district
Emily Kinkead, Democratic, 20th district
Lindsay Powell, Democratic, 21st district
Dan Frankel, Democratic, 23rd district
La'Tasha Mayes, Democratic, 24th district

Dan L. Miller, Democratic, 42nd district
Valerie Gaydos, Republican, 44th district
Anita Astorino Kulik, Democratic, 45th district

Devlin Robinson, Republican, 37th district
Lindsey Williams, Democrat, 38th district
Wayne D. Fontana, Democrat, 42nd district
Jay Costa, Democrat, 43rd district
James Brewster, Democrat, 45th district
U.S. representatives:
Chris Deluzio, Democrat, 17th district
Summer Lee, Democrat, 12th district
U.S. senators:
John Fetterman, Democrat
Bob Casey Jr., Democrat
He has a reason to register Democrat if he wants a say in their primaries, but given that the party is a virtual lock for almost everything in his area, he doesn’t really need to. However, he did have a good reason to register Republican around 2022, according to this AP News Article:
And in some cases, Democrats have been too focused on their own competitive primaries to cast a Republican ballot. That was probably the case in Pennsylvania, where some Democrats openly encouraged their base to vote for the Republican candidate for governor, Doug Mastriano, whose extreme views they felt made him more beatable in November.To cast a ballot in the May 17 GOP primary, however, voters needed to register as Republicans ahead of the contest because Pennsylvania has a “closed primary” system. And on the same day, Democrats were deciding their own high-stakes Senate primary.If the advance vote in Pennsylvania is any indication, few Democrats heeded the call to vote GOP.
To be fair, few Pennsylvanian Democrats voted Republican, as the article states. However, some still did, and if anyone’s gonna do that, it’s probably the guy who voted $15 to ActBlue and hated Trump enough to shoot at him.
Or he just has politics that swing like a pendulum, and somehow he loved Trump just before changing his mind and shooting at him. That would fit with your “jilted Trump lover” hypothesis.
The above paragraph was sarcasm. Apparently, I have to tell you when I’m being sarcastic now.

Alright everybody. Let's calm down with conspiracy theories, and let's calm down with the assassination fantasies (cough Underdog). And the doomerism too while we're at it.
What we have is a deranged individual on the fringes of the left who decided he was the law. He wanted to kill a former president and he didn't care who he killed in the process. That is all.

I’m reading the wiki more and Savant’s claim looks like crap now. I don’t see anything in the wiki that says she saved someone in her childhood by testifying, only that she tried and failed to do so, as the guy was ruled guilty.
I don’t like him behaviorally and I don’t like this whole, “ vote someone off tomorrow and I’ll save them to confirm myself” thing either. That ensures there’s a mislynch on DP2 and that he survives to DP3 if he’s scum
His behavior in general strikes me as being way too hard to fit in. And if we’re talking mechanics, I don’t like magistrate.
Created:

@WyIted
Working on it.
Godot is interesting because he has been both a defense attorney and a prosecutor at some point in the series, according to the wiki… which is important given that Edgeworth is one of the biggest antagonists in the series and a prosecutor. Prosecutors vs all else?
That being said, Edgeworth has a redemption arc so maybe it’s literally just murderers vs lawyers. Which makes Godot even more interesting given he did kill someone and was arrested. However, the circumstances around it weren’t necessarily a murder, as he only killed Dalia Hawthorne, who was possessing Maya’s mother’s body and trying to kill Maya.
As for my character, he’s got two balls

Holy shit and now Austin makes sense on the behavioral end of things. God he was even breading that he was looking for reactions.
Unvote
Still not sold on Savant, but I suppose he’ll use magistrate on whoever is lynched if he’s town.
