@iamanabanana
He’s mad because he’s bad at mafia and got called out for it last game. Claims everyone is bullying him when he keeps starting everything. Basically got policy lynched for being annoying.

Scum tend to be opportunistic and sometimes less aggressive.
For example. Playing passive and not making a good case for lie. You scum read. Are you being opportunistic and seeing what sticks or are you town being aggressive. I tend to think town after seeing these interactions because I don’t think scum would keep pushing when they could join on super. Would scum try to 1v1 me this early
Casey read me as scum right after that. We’re they trying to have something stick?
It gives you info to gauge and helps you evaluate motives

I mean you are wrong but not sure where to point to because ddo is deleted. I think they do work because how people respond is imperative to cross checking behavior.

@Savant
Saying *day vig * is not the same as seeing who would hop on a bus. The day phase has to move forward and seeing who pushes first and then who joins is helpful

@Savant
I mean that was not an actual reaction test. Sure I said it but it was blatantly painful and a lie and I intended for it to look that way. Reaction tests need to gain something. That did nothing and was me posting fluff

Actually from the 2 I saw of Owen I think our scum play is similar except I post more

@Savant
If you can point me to a game where I do a reaction test as scum id be interested. I feel like my scum games are pretty obvious as I tend to not care about reads and mer town kill itself.

@ILikePie5
I feel like scum he doesn’t care and just lets town kill itself. But I only saw 2

Pick between earth Supa or Anna
I’m good with any of them

@ILikePie5
He has this weird tell I’ve noticed with him in town games recently
“Just to be clear you scum read cus x y z “
It’s always framed the same and always is trying to understand the logic for why you read him. I don’t think he’s ever actually scum hunting but trying to understand why he seems scummy and oddly it’s a town tell lol

@ILikePie5
I think Owen is town. Would bet on it. Can we go over an inactive so they don’t coast.

Pie is a town read off his behavior but he is aware enough to mimic this as scum. But in general. Leading town and aggression are typically town tells for him.

I think savants point is that I’m offering you a chance to make your case. We can even ban voting. I don’t care about the win. I just want you to back up your claims.

I have not debated in 10 years because im 10 years older and work all the time. Whether you think so or not, I do not have anything against you. I just think you have mental health issues and have no way to process or react normally to straining situations. The point of the debate is not whether you have ever been bullied but to debate whether proportionally you are unjustifiably bullied.

Skep you coming back around for live mafia with Thett3 as well?

@Casey_Risk
I feel off because I wanted to seem off intentionally. I threw a random scum read on pie without giving a reason to just see who would try and start and bus, and then look at why. Good scum players either typically lead or they coast.
Savant immediately went after me over the pie thing and I’m debating on whether it felt town or opportunistic. Most of my posting this far has been a reaction test and a way to move the game forward.

How do you gather this. This actually feels odd

No idea what the theme split is anymore. Savants and mine seem loosely similar
Created:

But animal rights People who are related to autistic stuff
I’m laugh my ass of he RM Is a character after he told Luna he abused animals. Maybe he did the game off that lol.

@Savant
Eh I don’t think it hurts anything. If they know the theme. They already can cake claim easy and they get a question which can lock in a claim for them.
They don’t formally have one but they have one. So doesn’t really matter

Actually I googled my character and she was related to autism as well but my entire pm is about animal rights stuff.

But yeah if Wylted is seriously claiming hitler then I’m now lost as well.

I mean if mafia knows the theme split why are we fucking around and not just talking openly. I didn’t even see this in his post.
My assumption is animal rights activist vs abusers

Depending on what David can code or make happen. Premium Features is always something I bitched about on DDO. Similar to discord plus. Like 4.99 subscription fee gives you access to editing your profile, unique things, reactions etc. If people want to support it they will, then you reinvest it back into AdWords or ads in general to target key words.

@Savant
Potentially yea. Combined with fund raising and asking Max to get engaged into the community again.
I think there is a lot the community can do for very little investment to help the site grow. Ad words is very useful.

@thett3
Yeah. I agree
David has the chance to hit a home run. Willing to invest into it myself because I miss the DDO days and I can always sell max as well. Granted the heavy focus right now is mafia but when David gets ownership passed to him, making the right changes and updates would be huge and drive traffic.

@fauxlaw
I thought the same on DDO to the point I trolled it but a president is the will of the community and It can advocate for coc and policy changes. Everyone respects WF but he will always operate by the book because that’s why he exists as head mod. The president is the person who pokes him and the mod team to make changes for the community. Much older now but I was wrong about this take when I ran it into the ground before. It was useless on DDO because of juggle but with an active owner or mod team, it’s actually useful.

@ResurgetExFavilla
To be honest, I feel like this site is a bit more relaxed when it comes to banning people now. To Thett3’s point, it used to be much stricter, but in a way, it’s found a balance that allows for more discussion. The thing is, the way to drive traffic is by tapping into the intense political debates and conversations happening everywhere. To get the kind of engagement that is useful, you need to allow controversial and even problematic ideas to surface, because that’s where real confrontation happens. Those debates, where ideas clash, are what fuel traffic and engagement. We saw this dynamic with DDO. They capitalized on the Four Horsemen of Atheism era, and the religious debates alone got massive engagement. My debate with Roy on criminal justice ended up with almost half a million views. These hot-button topics are what people gravitate toward. It’s what they search for. People want content, drama, personalities, and characters. Those are the things that made DDO successful, but they never fully capitalized on it and let the site die because juggle was useless.
That same dynamic exists here. Whether it’s Trump, Israel, race in America, immigration, or abortion, these topics are Hot. The key is freedom of speech and letting arguments happen, letting ideas clash. Then you can tap into the right algorithms on platforms like YouTube and Google, hoping it gains traction. That’s how you get the site to pop off. But to do that, you have to allow a certain amount of bad ideas to be voiced because it’s the clash of those ideas that generates the real content. Sometimes, dumb opinions are the fuel that gets things going and keeps the conversation alive.
With David able to make changes and actually giving a fuck. It’s the best chance the site has ever had to successful if he markets it correctly.

Max and I are also trying to kickstart life mafia and work on getting mafia popular again. With an active person having site ownership (one that is responsive). First time the site has had a chance to actually rebrand and make some interesting changes.
Created:

I applied for Mod and if I get it will advocate for free speech. To be fair David is actually motivated and I think wants to drive the site forward and has good ideas. But I fully stand by free speech should be allowed. Direct racism is harder but I concur, DDO style moderation is what made the site so good but I have faith David will make some good changes.
