i think it’s potentially a good way to catch them because they don’t know who the letter is and could be planning to claim a character that’s in the game and get stuck with what they put down.
Theme could be obscure but I always feel like fake claims tend to stick out when you limit them.

Just posting for this to be locked in as meta. If someone is doing this. That lynch should be largely ignored as not AI and the game moves on. Posting more to get a general consensus. I know you and I would do it, likely pie. But this should be SOP. Last game made me want to punch myself in the face.

Proposal to Policy Lynch Players Who Are Disrupting the Game as Meta
I’m proposing a meta to policy lynch players who are intentionally throwing, detracting from the game, or otherwise functioning as a net negative to the town. This does not mean policy lynching someone who is lying, or policy lynching someone who refuses to claim or is not telling the truth. There are obviously sometimes valid reasons for that. Instead, I’m using RMS's behavior from the last game as an example of when a policy lynch is necessary. There were 30 pages of posts, 70% of which were fluff and not game-related. There were very little actual reads, just OMGUS, continual spam, and discussions about religion and how he was a victim. The issue is that this type of behavior clogs up the game and makes it unenjoyable to participate in. It becomes nearly impossible to keep up with, and it fucks over the town, because they’re forced to sift through all the spam, making it easy to miss important game-related information. When this type of behavior is present, the player needs to be policy lynched (not banned) even if it costs town the game. If it continues and never stops, then we can blacklist the player. This gives them a chance to remediate their behavior and lets the mafia community take a stand against someone hijacking the game with game terrorism. These policy lynches should not be AI, and should be agreed upon by a majority of people in the game.

I’m saying no one is abusive to you and you’ve made a fantasy up in your own mind where you are the victim. All of that is true from your POV which highlights how unhinged and detached from reality you are. Literally what I mean. From his own POV he is a cuck or a masochist and I will never understand it. For 10 years he has been made the bad guy, everyone is against him (dating back to max), he has been bullied and abused and he always stays and wants to take all 10Inches of it. It’s mind boggling. He made a post when he left apologizing to everyone for being a dumb fuck which came off as genuine, found god, came back and was more annoying than before. Hard sell for Catholicism. I can promise you he has never played on another site seriously. I have friends on other sites and if he did this over there, he would be kicked and blacklisted before the game ended. It’s the God Persona.

No one is out to get you, no one has time to care about bullying you, you are the victim in some made up story and you taking a break from the site to work on your mental health was the best choice you have ever made and I say that with the most sincerest meaning possible. 30 Pages dp1. Like 20 percent of them were game related and the rest were spam, saying he’s being attacked, bitching, and antagonizing people. I knew he was town and lynched him and was okay with that because I thought wf was scum and I would do it anytime. At the point the entire site and everyone you interact with is saying you are the problem, and there is no reflection then you just policy lynch and move on. That first dayphase was unbearable

To note and I could not discuss it. The discord info was as soon as pms went out. Wfs phone on discord went up like 22 times. He was in my recent chats. It’s unfortunate but I cannot Ignore it.
I have 2 choices

The claim just sealed it and me having the ability to hold a knife to towns neck and just play how I wanted helped. Mass claimed helped with Poe
Was wrong on the solve as there need to be a lynch and then hammer ultra last dp. Wylted caught this so good on him. I just would have did it with wylted and casey instead of Luna and Casey
Disagree you always have to go off reads to win. Poe and roles are a great way to solve and that is a huge portion of the game and that was the line for victory.

1) WF
WF was already bothering me. Most of his reads were null, and he was doing that non committal shit he always does as scum. Every time I point it out, it's the same.
No real reads: null, null, null, one person town. I think it's one of his stronger tells as scum, and I’ve pointed it out before and every time I have, I’ve been right.
I was already sitting pretty hard scum on him, and then add in (banned logic). I’m sitting with him pretty high as scum right now.
2) Mharm
I hard townread Mharm at the end of DP2. You can read back on my posts. His logic and approach were just hard town tells. So I don’t think there’s any fuckery with the flip.
WF’s sus + Mharm’s role raises balance questions
Does an odd-night doctor really exist if there’s a full-time jailkeeper? I don’t think so. That kind of locks WF as scum.
Balance Thoughts:
- Luna – Investigative – JusticeMakes sense that there’s one investigative role. Having it take two nights to work nerfs it a bit, which makes sense.
