@WyIted
The point I was making was that the test gets more refined, and the average goes up so your score might be more accurate.

I don’t deny that the American education system isn’t great, and it definitely needs some fixing, but that doesn’t mean you have to homeschool.
Generalizations are not always wrong. Generally speaking fat people consume more calories than they burn, but this is not always correct.
But that generalization is based on actually evidence. You’re just using random things that you convinced yourself are true.
Also, where did you get this info on female psychology? This is just baseless garbage.

@WyIted
So you are measuring your intelligence by a test that you took back in third grade.
I feel like if you want to really know it you should take one again.

@WyIted
So you’re saying that millions of people chose a career which barely pays enough to live comfortably just so they can have the summers off? This is a generalization.

@WyIted
I haven't actually taken one. Which one did you do?

@WyIted
You make some good points, but I think you’re overestimating how good of a system it is. It’s the best we have, but it’s still not really that good at all.

I'm not really sure if this is the right forum for this topic, but I couldn't really find a better one.
The thing that you have to understand is that IQ is not a perfect measure of intelligence. It mostly measures your brain's ability to recognize patterns, which is synonymous with intelligence in some cases, but it is still very imperfect.
It is really hard to actually quantify intelligence, since it is such a vague term when you really think about it. If someone was really good at math, like NASA level good, you would say they are smart. But you could also say Napoleon, or other military generals were smart. You're using the same metric to evaluate two completely different things.
People have to remember, IQ is not Intelligence. It's the best we have so far, and it is applicable in some scenarios, but you have to remember that it is very imperfect.

I don't really want to Lynch you, but I know I'm town, so I think I'm acting in our best interests by throwing you under the bus in favor of me, especially when I'm mod confirmable.
I will ask, do you have anything to defend yourself, because so far all I'm seeing is PoE from other people.
Created:

@JoeBob
That is a good point. I wouldn't totally scum read him for total lynchproof just due to all the vigs out here, but we gave them to him anyways, so lets hope we weren't supposed to use those on him.
Created:

@JoeBob
Actually that makes me town read him a bit more. Scum wants to widen the possible lynch field, so there is that.

This is ridiculous. Are you actually going to Lynch someone who is mod confirmable by tomorrow. I would sus pie for this if his role wasn't pretty townie. There is that second aspect that we don't know about yet, so that has me a bit worried.

@WyIted
I was going to vote Joebob anyways, I was just waiting a little. I like to be sure of my VTL's. This is going to seem so much like a desperate attempt, but what do you want me to do? You are absolutely going to call me out as reactionary for this, but I don't really give a shit anymore.
Joebob, sorry about this. I don't really scum read you, but you're at least a PoE candidate, and there is no way I'm going to get WyIted Lynched.
VTL Joebob

Ideally, I want WyIted lynched, but there’s no way that’s happening. I know that sounds like an OMGUS, but it’s been weird how adamantly he’s been going after me with little to no evidence. Realistically, I’ll probably have to settle for Joebob as a PoE lynch, because that’s where everyone else seems to be headed other than me.

@Casey_Risk
Moozer called himself a 'stalker' instead of a role cop or detective when stalker is explicitly scum-aligned.
I never called myself a stalker. The role justification for my JOAT is that Bart Simpson commits crimes, and I can commit a number of them. One of them is stalking, and was referred to that in my Role PM, so that's what I said. As a role, it is equivalent to a tracker, but in that post I was listing the crimes I could do and what they did. I also mentioned Grand Theft Auto, and Vandalism in that context.

@WyIted
According to my message, I will be revealed as town on DP3, (If I don't commit any crimes, which I haven't). It will probably be in the initial post for the DP or something.

@WyIted
Are you really going to lynch someone who is mod affiliation confirmable by tommorow just because I had a brain fart?
Just to make sure that we’re all on the same page, it’s actually grand theft auto is a roleblock, vandalism is a role stop, and stalking is finding who somebody visits. So far I Have not done any actions because I want to be confirmable.Wait, this is a scumslip. Stalker is a term used to describe Mafia roles. Also what does not using any actions have to do with being confirmable?
I wasn’t referring to the role, I was referring to the flavor text of crimes that I can commit. You need to read more carefully.
Plus the confusion on what day you’ll be town confirmed. It seems like it’s not a simple wait to tomorrow, but the day after… That’s a lot of faith you’re asking for.If you’ve got a better theory on who is scum, please lay it out for us. In the mean time…
I’m kinda scum reading WyIted, just because of how adamantly he is going after me with little to no evidence, and Joebob, for obvious reasons. But it’s not really a lot of faith that I’m asking for. You all seem in agreement that Joebob is my Scum buddy, so lynch him first! It doesn’t matter the order you lynch us in, so let me go last so I can prove myself. I don’t see the problem here.

I meant to say vigilante, but it’s pretty obvious that’s what I meant because I was referring to what WyIted was going to do with the shirt.

I said that I was confirmable by dp4 not dp3, which was probably just a typo that I didn’t catch honestly.

@Barney
Don't see the purpose in lynching him today because if he is lying we just lynch him tomorrow.
I couldn’t have said it better myself. I was planning on doing this whole thing about being mod afilliation confirmable tommorow, but you guys kinda did it for me, so thanks.
Investigative roles are the most important, and giving that up for confirmation later in the game... An investigation can reveal someone as scum, which was worth so much more than 100% town confirmation.
I agree, but stalker role is one of the least useful investigative roles in my opinion. There is a chance that it reveals scum, but it’s more likely it just tells you not that much, or best case it soft confirms someone, and I think it would be better to have me hard confirmed instead.

Okay, I have to go for a few hours. Can you PLEASE do me the courtesy of not lynching me while I’m out? I have a bit more to say in my defense.

Oh, you mean the stalker thing. I decided that being affiliation mod confirmable was more valuable.

When did I ever say that?
Created:

@ILikePie5
Wait, didn’t you say you were confirmable by today?
Created:

@Casey_Risk
No I meant to say vigilante. Also, that post was not about my role, it was in reference to the shirt that WyIted got. There is no reason for me to have said that the shirt gave commuter powers. Why would I do that on purpose?
Created:

@WyIted
I guess maybe we could kill joebob first and see if moozer is actually confirmed but we just can't risk the neighbor vig with needing a unanimous vote
I don’t mind being a lynch or big target, but O should at least be lower on the list, right? I would be very happy if you let me get to DP3 so I can confirm myself, but there is a good chance I die tonight anyways now that my role got leaked.
Btw, I was going to claim if you had given me the chance.

@TheUnderdog
My main point was about transgender being an issue of gender, so dating someone who is trans means that you accept them. Dating a black person doesn’t really have that same effect because it’s a race. I don’t really buy that premise you make. Often times racial biases are unconscious. Not many people admit to being racist, but sometimes might hire a white person for a job because they were raised around more white peoples and thus are more comfortable around white people. I’m not saying it’s likely, but surely it’s possible, right? The same goes for trans people I guess, but at least by dating someone you accept them for who they are.
Created:
-->
@TheUnderdog
You can have a black girlfriend and still be racist. It’s not likely, but possible.
If you’re dating a trans woman, then unless you are secretly gay, you are saying that trans people are real and you can change your gender. I think that it’s even less likely for you to discriminate against them for the additional reason that you acknowledge their preferred gender identity.
Just my thoughts.

It’s not just because he’s wrong, he went after Savant with such little to act on. I would have flipped the wagon with savant at the end of the last DP, but I wasn’t online.

Wait, was there no NK. Also, I’m totally in favor of VTLing pie. I think savants jester flip even makes that more sus for him. Savant already wants to die, so he’s an easy target for a mislynch without there being any suspicion.

I haven't really seen any worth mentioning.
“Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.” — Exodus 20:8
“One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.” —14:5
“One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.” —14:5
“… the earth abideth for ever.” — Ecclesiastes 1:4
“… the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.” — Peter 3:10
“… the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.” — Peter 3:10
“… I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved.” — Genesis 32:30
“No man hath seen God at any time…”– John 1:18
“No man hath seen God at any time…”– John 1:18
I'm not Christian, so maybe I got something wrong, but that seems pretty blatant to me.
Also, it definitely does support slavery:
“However, you may purchase male and female slaves from among the nations around you. 45 You may also purchase the children of temporary residents who live among you, including those who have been born in your land. You may treat them as your property..."
“If you buy a Hebrew slave, he may serve for no more than six years. Set him free in the seventh year, and he will owe you nothing for his freedom."
"All slaves should show full respect for their masters so they will not bring shame on the name of God and his teaching. If the masters are believers, that is no excuse for being disrespectful. "
Again, I haven't studied the bible, but I don't think you need to have even read it to see that these are pretty clearly in favor of slavery.

@Mall
if he has not revealed himself to you basically according to scripture you have not received the truth, God, having no faith .
Alright then, how do I get this “faith”.
If you're talking about evidence, well the scripture explains what the evidence is to be concerned with.
Which is?
Oh, one more thing. I’ve always wanted to ask a Christian this question, but how do you reconcile all the contradictions in the Bible? And the Bible supporting horrible things like slavery?
Created:

@Mall
So he won’t reveal himself If I go looking for him? That makes no sense, but who knows, maybe you’re right. But either way, I still cannot believe something like that without sufficient evidence. Maybe I’ll go to hell, but I’ll keep my dignity and my intelligence.

We just need to let black people know they are part of America and we are one people. Or they just need to find a place they feel welcome
Yeah, I guess that makes sense? Anyways this discussion got way of topic. What are you planning to for “white history month”?
Created:

@WyIted
More blacks are killed by cops because they are more likely to resist arrest.
But why are black people more likely to resist arrest? Because they know there is a higher chance of something bad happening to them because they are black. It a bad cycle.

@WyIted
How does being born with a good life mean you oppress people?
It doesn’t, but as privileged humans, we need to recognize that there are people who are under privileged, and that we have a duty to help them. Some White people are born poor, and some black people are born rich, but on net balance, white people still have privilege which come with a duty to help those without it.
I thought we had racial equality. Can you point to the laws that disadvantage non whites specifically?
It doesn’t matter if our legal system is fair, people can still discriminate. As long a people of color are sometimes barred from jobs they are qualified for, and as long a police officers are still killing minorities, we will not have equality.

@WyIted
@Owen_T
Equal rights for posh white people! We've been oppressed long enough.
Exactly what I mean. You still have to recognize that White people are the oppressors still. Not all white people, but if your born white, you still have a better chance at a good life, and we need to work to change that.
Created:
Posted in:

@WyIted
I never said that white people haven’t done good things in history. The problem with all these counter movements like the men’s rights movement is that straight white males are still born much better off than other minorities. I’m not really against a white history month or whatever, but the reason we have black history month, and AAPI month and all the other ones is to celebrate people who are born without privilege. Sure, we can celebrate white history month, but we still need to keep in mind that white people are still the majority, and there is still lots of work to be done to achieve true racial equality.
