Not everyone is (willfully) ignorant of the fact that sexual immorality is actually a thing and in every way destructive to a society.

Really, if it is all simply about what feels good and what satisfies one's lusts and passions, what does it matter? We know this to be idolatry, but to those who are in this type of world it is all really just an arbitrary thing. And to take it into a slightly less crass subject, this very same type of mentality makes it an arbitrary thing to be addicted to drugs, videogames, movies, etc. After all. If you can afford all this stuff, and not bother the person next to you, why not?

The thing is, from our perspective, all of this cheapens what it is to truly be human. When we allow ourselves to be influenced by these forces, we reduce ourselves to be like animals. We as human beings are made in the image of God, and these passions are like the muck that obscures this image. When we identify with the muck that defiles the image, we are making ourselves less than human.

And truly, is it any coincidence that those who have denied their humanity and been reduced to the level of dumb beasts long to prop up a government that will treat them as such? The social engineers who will rule over this system are merely exploiting the animal nature of those who have debased themselves. Once control is surrendered over to them, they will have no need for all these worthless people who were tolerated and encouraged simply because of the destabilizing effect they have on society. When they seize power, the homosexuals, the drug addicted, the videogame addicts, the rebellious, the slothful, the useless eaters... all of these people will be disposed of. They are a problem. They are harmful to society. Bad for the environment even!

So I say as a warning to all who make themselves like beasts, denying their humanity in spirit. Enjoy this slavery you call liberty while it lasts, because there will come a time when the people you elect to take over the country turn on you, and feed you into the furnace that fuels the new machine. It isn't going to be anything like they tell you. They will betray you. They are lying to you.

Or, forsaking this world of death take this God business seriously, coming to know that "He that loveth his life shall lose it; and he that hateth his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.", that "this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent."

The ultimate reality is no more than time "cranking the handle" from big bang to heat death.

Really, and this is the truth, if a certain segment of the LGBT crowd doesn't stop marketing their lifestyle towards children, they might in fact be working towards the undoing of all the liberties that they have secured over the last half century or so.

I don't think religious sincerity has much to do with it. Society will not tolerate thieves and murderers running about with no consequence. If the secular authorities were to make such an obvious error of justice, I predict that you are going to find a rise in people with the religious conviction that murderers be put to death.

I certainly do not believe that is the case. I believe that presbyters are trained for the express purpose of helping people with their spiritual ailments, mental illness often times being a manifestation of spiritual sickness.

I also dispute that what you think of as the mental health profession is science to begin with. 

By all means, if you prefer to have certain parts of your brain sedated, go to the shrinks. They will gladly prescribe you your happy pills and mood stabilizers after talking to you for 5 minutes. If drugs aren't your thing, they'll happily allow you to pester them with your problems so long as you are paying them a hefty fee.

It is no coincident that all the God deniers are socialists. They pretend they mean no harm to the church, but when they seize power the first thing they always do is make war with the church.

They do as much as the population will allow them to get away with, which is why they push so hard for secular anti-religion indoctrination in their education.

The socialists, having been indoctrinated themselves, do not realize that their education was specifically engineered to make the doctrine of the church unintelligible. It isn't because the doctrine is unintelligible, it is because socialist indoctrination was made with the intent of overwriting true religion. The therepeutic method of The Church certainly addresses the very real ailment of prelest, which is at the core of mental health.

Incidentally, both the bishop my church is under and the patriarch of the church of Antioch have degrees in psychology.

I am not assuming anything, I know what I am talking about. The Ultimate Reality is the very reality that gives everything its existence. Without The Ultimate Reality, there is no existence.

When it comes to "multiple realities", you are not understanding what I mean. There are many truths, and for these truths to be The Truth must be in them.

These "truths" are relativistic truths, tg hey have contingent existences. They are not The Absolute Truth.

An example of a truth or reality is "Donald Trump is the president of The United States.". As of this writing, this is true. It is a reality. 10 years ago this was not true, it was not a reality. 10 years from now this will not be true, it will not be reality. This truth, this reality, has a beginning in time, an existence in time, and eventually will not be.

The Absolute Truth or The Ultimate Reality exists pre-eternal, and that means time itself is a reality that is contingent on its existence. It always was, always is, and forever will be. Without this being, this existence, this entity, there could be no form of existence. As is plainly evident and scientifically verified by your own experience, there is some form of existence. That being the case, there is a supreme existence.

This Ultimate Reality is what we call God, and we know surer than anything that God exists.

There is One Ultimate Reality.

It should be obvious that there is a reality that ties all realities together. A reality that gives all other realities their existence. A reality that is persistent. A reality that accounts for everyrhing.

You know, The Supreme Being. The Ultimate Reality.

How can one deny this when to deny this is to deny all reality?

What most people call a priest is in fact called a presbyter. This is because technically all orthodox are priests, we are a nation of priests.

A presbyter is an elder priest.

People have lots of reasons for not getting vaccinated.

Does your vaccine have pignparts in it? That is why Muslims and Jews refuse vaccination.

Plus, some people are convinced that they put things other than what they tell you in the vaccines. Things that are intended to effect fertility or harm you.

I think it is strange you think people should be forced to get vaccinations.

Orthodox are a bit different, because we don't believe the bible was dictated by God.

We are also the original Christian church, so I think that gives us a certain level of authority that these "Derp derp, God wrote the bible so its infallible" churches don't have, as none of of them are older than a few centuries.

If everyone is vaccinated except those who refuse to get vaccinated, those who are vaccinated shouldn't get sick.

But besides this, what about a right to your own body? How is it not a right to say, "I refuse to take vaccines." 

Why need a religious excuse?

Apparently, these measles vaccines have pig parts in them, so Jews and Muslims don't like them.

At least, that is what I heard from some Jews I know who were talking about it.

Fyi, if your measles vaccine doesn't prevent you from catching measles from somebody else, it sounds like a pretty worthless vaccine.
