Hypothetically, I don't recall thinking the ball can be green, and I'm gonna tell hypothetical Castin.

You'll have to choose your words more carefully.  Literally nothing has changed as far as I'm hypothetically concerned.  Sorry for any inconvenience

You would be correct to assume I have not accepted or rejected the color from the hypothetical perspective.

I haven't ruled it unreasonable, just stated that lack of evidence isn't a reason and so naturally you would need something more for the purpose of justification.  Since you are pressing, in general why would you reject a claim you can't rule out?  But then real world ethics surrounding circumstance might come into play like a court system might find it practical to reject particularily frivolous claims that don't stand a chance.

Lack of evidence is not a reason at all, so if you are going to justify then you'll definitely need something more.

You mean as in whether you have faith in them and express belief?  I'm inclined to say yes.

I have thought about it,  and I think the most solid position to take is that faith is not only irrational, but also something you have no direct control over.  That's probably as flat a "no" answer as you can find lol.

I have not observed or otherwise thought up anything reasonable about belief, so no.

Its perspectively possible.  I cannot confirm it for you yet because I don't assume causative relationship between evidence and belief.

What does caring have to do with beliefs?
I have never observed a rational relationship for my beliefs.  I sort of had to guess, but I know that looking at the box and imagining a red ball did not result in belief.  I can figure since there are no forseable alternatives to my own initiative, all reasonable options would require personal effort, but I don't care about your balls or box and as such the only forseable alternatives are impeded.  Since I know that I do not know anything has been otherwise ruled out yet, and assuming I would need to care to dedicate some effort, I say it may be the root of why I have my current state of belief or rather lack thereof.

Are you willing to participate?
You will have to be more specific so that I can thoroughly answer this question.  Based on the information thus far, I do not see anything that would alter the course of my will to participate.

Thank you, that is nice reassurance.  Since my general position has not changed you may take this explanation if you feel like reading previous postings sometime.  To your question on belief, my answer is the same "no".  I have no belief that you have a red ball in the box.

I am not going to entertain that an honest effort to answer why I have my state of belief while answering a second question, is also my belief.  The root of the reason why may be that "I don't care".  If I put some effort forth I might think otherwise.

To be honest, I would like to edit that post if I was allowed.  This would be the third time I think that I've tried this, based on your initial question.  I mean that even though there are no qualifiers which would bar my entering based on my previous answer history I'm not confident that changes will not be made after doing so.  I don't want to put effort forth and end up with something random and being told to have a nice day.

Is there is no excercize for a thought experiment, and if so did I put up with all that poor judgement you made for no reason up till this point?

Private forum topics
If people are having trouble establishing an agreement to conduct for the topic at hand, that could be very helpful!  What do you think if you had an option to start a designated private thread and deselect people from entering posts, or only selecting certain members?

why do people need an AR15?
I suppose there are financial incentives at play in general when the government impacts the markets.

Evidently there must be some reason people find keeping a legal AR-15 rifle advantageous as it is so popular, but that is more a tech or societal topic I think unless the reason has to do with the government.

I do not find a good reason to say that there isn't a problem.

One reason for posting is that I am interested in the discussion.

As I understand it, we are discussing with regard to an experiment of design which I assume you understand and we have not truthfully reached a conclusion.

There are at least two unanswered questions in recent history as I recall off the top of my head.  Those constitute something I would like to discuss, but I do not intend to take on a tangent.

Secularmerlin: I will assume that this is a comment You are neither going to explain or qualify

As you can see I was clear about what my assumption was. It is only an assumption however and the moment you explain or qualify your statement my assumption would become wrong. That is why assumptions are a poor pathway to truth.

You are stating a half-truth.  You will have to speak with administration to limit what I can see in respect to your statement.  I don't observe that you've taken practical approach to problem solving.

No.  Punctuation aside, inability to come up with wording would have had to do with having not finished my coffee.  It might prove benificial should you separate what you intend to be conveyed as an assumption from what you are using to reason though.

Why not?
I don't care?

If I have total faith in something you don't care about shouldn't you believe me?
Depending on the perspective, that could be yes or no.  From a personal perspective no.  From a higher perspective, maybe.

What you do is not necessarily contingent upon attempting to do it....and you are making up some sort of claim I never made now.  You also refrained from answering the central question of the post you are replying to.

I need you to tell me what beliefs you think that I was expressing since I was not attempting to express any beliefs. We cannot discuss the matter unless you are more specific. Of course you are under no obligation to provide these details but understand that in that case this conversation is not likely to be very fruitful.

Do you actually believe that I am in a better position to determine what you were thinking when you wrote that drivel I referred to as baseless than you are?

Yes, the second sentence of the explicitly quoted posting which starts with perhaps, is a baseless claim.  It is not even remotely in the realm of possibility.

That you assume rather than demonstrate is exactly what my example is designed to show as problematic. Perhaps you would understand that if you had participate rather than just dropping by to talk about your personal red ball (god).
Thank you for getting back to me.  I made an assumption for expediency because of time constraints out of good faith.  I participated in your hypothetical.  The second sentence is a baseless claim, meaning it has no possible bearing to reality and so you cannot give it a leg to stand on.

If you would like to know as few falsehoods as possible, maybe you should put a cap on your education.  Live a simple life and learn within your means.

No, in my experience the number of falsehoods one believes in is a poor metric of personal standard to prioritize in life.  I am adamant in my value of an informed society and do genuinely enjoy education, and try to be systematic for myself and the sake of others but I wouldn't say at this time that fear of falsehoods should be prioritized to limiting point.  I typically try to adhere to my limitations when it comes to spreading information though which is limiting for things like this as I end up addressing other priorities.   On the topic of faith, a true Christian will grow and learn to consider truth more in everything they do.  The idea of leading others astray is heavier in such light.
