@Dr.Franklin
In order to actually know you are correct. You would have to find out what started it all. If it wasn't your God then you are wrong.

You not picking that shows you don't want to know about your Religion like if it true or false. It is a belief.

The start of everything.

I finally understand your Religion is based on faith. You don't actually want to prove there is a God just want to believe it to be the case.

I am guessing this is bad because this is a way that can be spammed and even more divide communities.

Spam can be controlled but that would have to be moderated like with everything else.

It is a given that it will cause a divide. I think question would be around how much.

they are the same in their qualities and functions, but differ in their make up.
Yes exactly the same with trans women. Socially can be considered but in rare cases as in receiving treatment from doctors, filling legal documents they would have to apply their sex if needed. Same applies with water. Water can be considered for the most of the time as water in both Earth's but when writing a paper on the differences on the two waters it would have to distinguished.

Basically trans women can be socially called women.
Water in both Earths can be socially called women.

When the need arises would have to be labelled to their specific label.

Do you disagree?
That is oversimplified in the extreme, and overlooks the nuances of my response to you.
A populist can be both on the left and right.
A progressive is considered to be on the left.

When there is a left wing populist. What doesn't make them a progressive?
I said that progressivism is the socioeconomic component of American political liberalism.
A liberal can have socioeconomic components that are not considered progressive. This can be being for free trade. Free trade is a not a progressive idea.

This comment again fails to take into account important distinctions between sex and gender. I may call someone a woman because their sex is female, but I may also do so because their gender is female.
Apply it to the water example. If I was referring to the specific qualitites then Earth A water is different to Earth B water but if I only speak about the functions they are the same. Do you disagree?
I engage with them all the time, but that does not mean I will engage with every one I encounter.
That is a no for this one.
(a) why those goals come to be an ideology's goals and (b) how the ideology plans to pursue those goals. Saying that "because progressivism and populism share a goal, they are linked or the same" is fundamentally absurd.
This is absurd because the goals needed to reduce the income inequality is taking from the rich. Populism makes sure of it with their ideology. Progressives just don't say it. Tell me how this isn't the case.
I am using liberalism in the American political sense, not in the classic sense.
Okay. Even though I asked the question implying the definitions would be given by me you still don't engage with it. Instead you use liberalism as pretty much the same word as progressives. You didn't engage with the problems of a liberal and progressive you just stated they mean the same thing to me so I am not using your definition to engage with the claim you made. Great.

It's common sense, try getting it first and then asking something different. That's how progress is made.
Please explain your position instead of stating it just is.

Is your soul unique? Yes or no would do fine.

What makes your soul unique? A explanation would be fine. You can't say common sense.

This reads as an attempt at a "gotcha" question.
Nah. Just thought of it and thought it would be useful in seeing if you are consistent. Think what you like but I thought of this on the stop like that sperm watching TV.
That being said, referring to trans women as women does not violate our basic understanding of the terms involved when one apprehends the nuances of those terms.
Yes it does. A woman is associated with humans that have vaginas instead of penises.
The term "woman" is used to refer to both sex and gender, depending on the context. In the context of referring to someone as a trans woman, we're referring to their expression of gender, not to their sex.
I didn't even tell you the context. What is the context you are using?
I doubt that a haploid cell would be able to apprehend the information required to make such a judgement.
Can you not engage with a hypothetical? Do you want it to be gay oriented so that something I think you dislike is not being talked about?

If it wasn't clear haploid cells can now apprehend the information required to make such a judgement.
Progressivism is, in the US context, a left-of-center movement that calls for evidence-based sociopolitical reforms which are geared to helping the least well off in society.
Evidence based sociopolitical reforms? So not evidence based economic reforms?
From this, we can glean that progressivism is not populist, is aimed at ending severe income inequality and ensuring a basic standard of living for all, is for using government regulation and action to achieve its aims, and rejects social darwinism/rugged individualism.
Severe income inequality can be done by being a populist. So progressivism and populism can be bonded. Can you tell me examples that progressivism is not similar if not the same as populism?
The mainstream within the Democratic Party is progressive, and we often use "progressive" as a synonym for "liberal" in the American political context.
Pelosi?
I think that is a fair (if imprecise) equivocation, as progressivism is inherently not conservative. More accurately, we can say that progressivism is the economic and socioeconomic component of modern American liberalism.
I don't think so. Liberalism tends to favor freedoms and rule of law rather then what would be best for the worst if we go by your definition. This can be a problem when lets say the government steps in to make things more affordable. A liberal qualms would be that it would have a negative impact on the businesses while also impacting other markets given no one market is by its own. A progressive would say the value of the less advantaged is higher than maintaining the market. If we go by your definition.

What about the problems I had with prominent self-proclaimed progressive YouTubers?

Doesn't change my answer. The question you're asking deals with what counts as water, which makes it a question of synthetic knowledge.
Care to apply this to trans women being considered women?

In that case, you are asking whether I would choose to exist at all if I knew that existence would be unhappy. Yet, it seems to me, that I, as a collection of memories and experiences, cannot render a decision about what I would want, because I must first exist in order to do so. I would then reject the premise of your question.
Your existence is a sperm cell aware of your entire history but will lose all that history when planting on the egg. Care to answer now?
Is the question philosophical? Sure. I suppose in that sense, you have a point.
oke doke.
What counts as a progressive? I think that failing to credit the progressive movement with an ideological core is a mistake.
"a social or political movement that aims to represent the interests of ordinary people through political change and the support of government actions"
When I say highly educated, I tend to mean possessing college degrees. Obviously, not all college-educated people are progressives, but most progressives are college-educated.
Okay? It is best to find out the percentage you use then I'll come back to this.

What about the progressive movement public figures?

even if it appears as such.
2)
Everything apart from when looking through a microscope you see a difference.
Meaning it tastes the same. It reacts the same as Earth A water.
Are you asking about suicide or about whether I would have wanted to ever have existed?
3)
The existing part seems interesting. Before you were born. Lets say as a sperm just about to make contact with the egg you watch a TV showing everything in your life in an instant. Leading to your live being more bad than good. Lets say there is a 6 point difference constantly. So lets say you are at a 10 happy, you would be at 16 point unhappy. Would you not make contact with the egg?
I think inspirational quotes and mantras are about as close as most people get,
5)
No I mean like should I drink this soft drink or not? It is a philosophical question but very rarely people go deep into it and make standards. Do you agree with what I said?
I'd like gay couples to be able to have biological children. I am not sure if that would be the one I would choose if I actually were given a choice, but, sitting here thinking about it, it is one that I would like to see happen.
6)
Guess it makes sense. I wouldn't know personally given there are many options and if I pick one I can't pick another.
I think most of the ridicule progressives get for calling out bias is contrived nonsense that doesn't apply to most, everyday progressives.
7)
How much of a percentage do you think the progressive movement is compared to the US population?
I don't think so about your vocal positive progressive movement side. A party with no real clear identity will tend to nudge themselves more radically like the topic I brought up. I think this is a predictable scenario and I think will be mainstream progressive if it carries on in the future. I guess you don't see the bad of the progressive movement like I do.
Hasan PIker with the Copmala Harris video. Basically nothing he stated was proof. If you don't know who he is, he is associated with TYT that has a ton of subscribers.
Michael Brooks resorting to gish galloping instead of actually defend his qualms with the TPP.
Sam Seder, Kyle Kulinski and other constant suck up of AOC and the other squad members even when they have shite takes.
Basically if it wasn't clear she is talking about radical change from a comfy seat called I am not going to be challenged by a Republican in a blue district. I am now damaging chances in swing states by forcing Pelosi to do something when she has much more important problems like winning swing states. AOC could've helped centre-lefty dems win then decide to advocate for radical but instead she chooses to start with the radical change when the dems do not have a blue president or the senate. See my problem? Yet Sam Seder is defending like I am sure all the other progressives are as well. Where is this helpful criticism that would help you know win dems the presidency?

I think the most competent progressive which few dumb takes and even less just going by recent track record is David Pakman.
Dumb takes of his:
For circumcision
Some other stuff I can't remember.
I think progressives do tend to be highly educated, and therefore white. But I think that if more people became highly educated, more people would become progressives.
8)
I don't think this is true. I can be highly educated in theism but still not be a progressive. Do you mean the right kind of education?
I'd choose the latter.
9)
It was Spider-Man. Could have gave more of a hint.

How to find reliable sources?
@RM
Paganism as opposed to what? You think other religions involve less as opposed to more sheepthink? You are a good laugh, Omar.
How about choosing no Religion? I don't know like agnosticism or atheism oh wait you have really irrational takes on atheists. What is Ramshutu an atheist therefore atheism bad?
Where is your evidence for who runs the world? Who makes money worth anything? Do you know who they are? Really, who?
Pushing the burden of proof. Obvious tactic of a person who can't actually defend his side instead tries the most he can to shift the burden to me as if I ma the one making a claim. I didn't make a claim. You did. Going to support it or going to what you did when you accuse bsh1?
I am talking about the people who make it so that laws are laws, the people who make it so that 'reliable sources' are 'reliable'. Who are they?

1) If you were stuck in a place for all of eternity what 1 thing would you take along forever?

2) Earth A has water. Earth B has water. Both of them taste and function the same but looking at both under the microscope, Earth B does not have the same elements as Earth A. Do you think that is enough of a distinction to not call Earth B's similar liquid to Earth A's water water?

3) Would you carry on living a life you know that weighing the options of good and bad objectively you will have a bad life?

4) What do you think of philosophy?

5) Do you think philosophy is what everyone does but at the highest level hardly anyone does (as in speak about more advanced topic like meta-ethics?

6) If you had one advancement you would like to occur in the future what you would it be?

7) Do you think the progressive movement will get to a point they will be condemning heterosexuals for having biases over not choosing same-sex partners?

8) Do you see that the vocal crowd of the progressive movement are more often than not white kids that are well off in society (Personalities online not government staff)?

9) Would you constantly fight crime only to be bruised and battered while also be rich or be in love while also not really ever steady when it comes to income (It is a play on a previous question and hopefully you can also guess which two characters I am referring too)?

Lack of evidence based beliefs leads to other beliefs not held to a higher standard. (fecking up the quote but I don't care)

You subscribe to Paganism while also believing in the Illuminati. Doubtful this is a coincidence. There can be more examples but I don't want to try too much.

How to find reliable sources?
@RM

Past a certain point I will stop because if I prove things in a tangible manner, that is when I must fear for my life. I will never go that far to fully prove something about them in any concrete way but it's there.
Someone cares about you that much and are waiting for you to post something about them to do something about you? I find that difficult believe because for one if you were so important you wouldn't be on this site instead I think you would  try your best to hide from them not make your presence known to the public. Another problem is that if your convincing argument is locked behind a fear wall then don't expect people to believe it. You are not gaining anything by saying this. Unless you want attention. Up until that last sentence I was using the most simplest observations but I couldn't help myself given I think it is the most likely.

Just ask him for evidence. If he can't then it wouldn't be something new. No point entertaining the thought when you can spend your time on something more positive as in something helpful to your health or your happiness. Basically watch pr0n, go to the doctor or something other things like or make you healthy instead of spending time on RM's cold takes.

@Snoopy
In that statement, Donald Trump is actually trying to curb an us and them mentality, and did so in a way that reflects historical efforts to heal the divide between the North and South.  There were in fact, fine people who showed up on "both sides", besides bigots, white nationalists, neo-nazis etc...  and it should go without saying that there were also indecent people on "both sides".  These people were not mentioned in my local news broadcasting, so I would not have been properly informed had it not been for seeing raw footage.  It was apparent that there were strange people who came expecting a fight on both sides, and the news broadcasts I was tuned into were building the story all day in anticipation of a climax between the racist idiots and "counter protesters".
What is more believable Trump is a genius or like what he does in the past doesn't have the best choice of words. Occam's Razor would say Trump yet again doesn't know what he is talking about and this yet another example of it.
He was
A) Not allowing legitimate protest to be overshadowed (probably informed by Steve Bannon at that time)
B) Delegitimizing hate violence and bigotry in all forms.
C) Telling people to calm the hell down
Doesn't have a track record of de-escalation
Here is stuff I thought of:
Middle Eastern travel ban
China tariffs
Iran conflict
Transgender military ban
Video games has some part to play in mass shootings
Government shutdown

I think of shown enough to show it is clearly the more simple answer that he is more prone to escalation than a 4D chess play.
I thought he was well spoken in that instance, but he's often insensitive and his rhetoric can actually be quite useful that way in that it draws those people out of the woodwork.
Thank you for agreeing he has shown more examples of increasing escalation then playing it cool with well spoken takes.

The way I think about it is, if it wasn't for (experience) then in the future you wouldn't respond in a certain way had it not been for that (experience)
Guess you would answer no to this question:
Are you you when ate the pear or is that still you?
Child is bitten by a dog, has a fear of dogs growing up acts accordingly
Child isn't bitten by a dog does not have a fear of dogs grows up accordingly
That leads to other things like being more aware of animals and being more prone to things that require more quick movements. So basically Child A would be better at FPS's than Child B. This can lead to them being part of a competitive esports team which can boost their following on social media and find love. Whereas the other person would just follow the going to college then university then working a 9-5 job and getting lucky finding love. Just because of that one scenario the person is different. I would say what happens during your childhood plays heavily on who you would be like in the future and it would be difficult to change that.
this fear or lack of affects many aspects of that child/adult's life, experiences mold people in the way they act, react, likes, dislikes, morals etc  It makes us who we are.
My first response here addressed this I think.
