@Mopac
The Ultimate Reality exists.

If you say otherwise, you are a fool.
This is not helping your case. Reality can exist without God so you need to show how God is required for reality.

The evidence is accepting what we mean by what we say.
Okay then a leap of faith. How about accepting that if you jump off the cliff you won't die? Would you accept that without evidence?
But if my word isn't enough, a source we should have in common is the merriam-webster webster dictionary which clearly defines God with a capital "G" as "The supreme or ultimate reality"
A definition gives meaning to a word. Doesn't mean that word exists. It is like saying unicorn exists because there is a meaning behind the word.
Oxford uses the term "Supreme being"

If you understand these terms correctly, they mean the same thing.

If this isn't sufficient for you, I suggest you look more into what apodictic truth means.
Self-evidence is not evidence. I want to know how God is self-evident.

The Ultimate Reality is God.
So God is reality?
That is the God we know.
I don't know because you haven't explained it to me.
If you say this God doesn't exist, youhave adopted a foolish and self defeating position.
Another point made without explaining it.
Now understand thst if you don't believe that this is the case, that The Supreme and Ultimate Reality is what is meant by God, you are simply striving over the meanings of words, and you have no hope of understanding Christianity.
And that you are not explaining your position. I argue that is more important.
I don't need yo prove anything to you. If you dismiss something before understanding it, you have shut yourself off. I have little to do with this.
I didn't dismiss anything. I simply want reasons for what you believe in instead of simply believing it because you said so.

I got that feeling too.
With what he said here:
It is the truth that there is no truth! Prove to me that it is true that there is truth!
Basically God is truth. Whereas here:
What we do know of God has been revealed to us to whom it has been revealed. The Church certainly has this Revelation of God.
God is now a person.
There are other examples where I can pick to see even more definitions but it is clear that he is using more than one definition of God. I don't think he knows it but I await his response that more than likely have very little substance more so acting like he was living when the Bible was created.

In other words, you have no idea what I am talking about.
No you don't understand that your words have very little to stand on if you don't have evidence. Saying that you have a claim without evidence or explanation is not a substantiated point. In order for me to understand how you got to that claim I need to be explained through the process or given evidence that supports your claim. You haven't done either.
And you won't, because you think you know something when you are really in the dark.
Again another claim not supported by an explanation or evidence. Can you improve on this?
Being that Christianity is both in essence apodictic truth, and a mystery religion, you can not be expected to understand it. Being that you think you know, you won't.
It is not self-evidence that God exists and for you to say that is a lie. Come back to me when you have something substantial to provide to this conversation.
I am dismissing "mystery religion" because I don't think it would matter to the context of this conversation.
I don't think I know. I see what someone else says and say this can't be the case. They can't provide a good enough counter. I win.

Also - add your preference as to whether you’d be interested in being a roaster participant.
I want to do the roasting and would like to know how many rounds, characters and who would I be facing. Would this be in a table format?
You may post the safety word Chihuahua

You don't even know what you want proof of.
Yes I do. You haven't even given an explanation for why you said this so all I got to add is my opinion which is more important than yours in this context.
In fact, if you knew, you wouldn't be asking for proof.
I don't know but I do know false information represented as proof. Do you have actual proof? Lets just go with observable evidence.
Christianity in essence is apodictic truth.
You are making these claims without supporting it with anything. It can be dismissed as such.
That being the case, in order for it to be proven, it must be understood.
I find it difficult to believe that I would find trouble understanding proof. I think you are just trying to lower my standards to consider the Bible truth. I am not doing that because it very easy to achieve. Basically have observable evidence.
The Orthodox Church is The Church. We know the God we worship.
Doesn't help your side or give me something to say about so I will dismiss as well.

If the voter genuinely believes awarding a tie to be appropriate, I don't think there's anything wrong in that.
You think RationalMadman was being genuine in the debate I was in? Even if it was made before the rules the vote is still up in the voting process which mean it is apart of a debate which is currently going through a voting process.

Without clash, it is arguably impossible for the judge to render a verdict, because no one has given me a reason to prefer (or not prefer) any specific case. The only way to render a verdict is to intervene, and that is something many judges like myself strongly object to doing, and therefore will not do.
Then don't have that count as a debate then. If this becomes so egregious then you can consider them both losing 1 debate for doing so. If no attempt was made to even gauge with the other's argument why should it count as a debate?

I took this to mean that it is impossible to legitimately cast a tie vote, as "both [debaters] can't be right," and this "should reflect in the votes." If that is not what you mean, please clarify.
Yes it is.
I believe that debates rarely tie.
This is basically me saying I believe you rarely actually give a damn about what I am saying. This does not in anyway help me understand your argument against since all you say it rarely happens.
However, I do believe it is possible for debates to be tied, and usually that occurs,
You basically agree with me and don't really offer something to counter here.

There is a flesh and a spirit to Christianity. The flesh is what you see on the outside, the stories, the symbology, the scriptures, the holy tradition, the liturgies, icons, etc. To be aquainted with this is part of the catechisis of the faith. The spirit is the Mystagogy or hidden meaning behind all these things.
Not evidence. Do you have any? Preferably a link claims that you haven't supported with evidence.
What can I tell you to help you? The Church worships The Truth as God, and so our faith is Truth Worship. If the catechisis is a stumbling block for you, you will not see the mystagogy behind it.

As it is written

"And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables?
He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.
For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath.
Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand."

And so to be initiated into the faith, one requires humility and charity. The humility to not know, and the charity to believe until that knowledge comes. A true knowledge, not merely gnosis, but epignosis. True experiential knowledge.
So faith is your evidence? I don't consider it evidence.

It's not cowardly..it is just insane to equate melanin color with a person's utility to society.
I don't believe you really think that. Eventually you would be siding with Spencer and the other white nationalists. It is only a matter of time or maybe you are going to be stuck in denial for the rest of your life.
Where would you arbitrarily draw up the palette?
Not arbitrary. It is based on words that have meaning and I simply call people for what they are. I don't make my own arbitrary palettes. I instead use ones that are already in place and are helpful. I don't see the need in innovating when someone else has already came up with a reasonable requirement to be X.
Why do you have to see things in terms of melanin or assume anyone who disagrees with you has a melanin fixation? That is just such a weird thing to have drilled into your head at an early age. Is racebaiting really that popular these days with millennials? Elevated status from race baiting and playing the hip victim?
Don't see the need to reply to you when you don't show the courtesy to me. I'll only reply to what I want since you don't show the same courtesy I showed you.

I might actually agree with some of what Richard Spencer says while totally not buying into the melanin superiority or melanin privilege garbage.

The left can only place people in baskets. No nuance.
Nuance? The left has nuance the right doesn't. You saying you agree with Richard Spencer means you are pretty much there. The melanin part is not that important when that is only the context and with this statement:
I'm not concerned at all. It's in humanity's best interest to destroy inferior, unproductive people from the gene pool.  The only people that need worry are the slow and the lazy.
Where have basically said it is "humanity's best interest to destroy inferior, unproductive people from the gene pool". Richard is brave enough to sugar-coat saying that he think blacks are inferior, unproductive people from the gene pool but guess you are too much of a coward to what you truly think. You never answered my race and IQ question. I wonder why. Maybe you afraid of actually owning up to what you are pretty much agree white nationalists on.

Sorry, I cant see everything through the lens of melanin like you were indoctrinated to.
Keep flipping the race bait and the race cards though, it's popular to be a victim.
Instead of taking this seriously you are accepting your fate. Don't be shocked if you agree with Richard Spencer says. I would post a video that I do think you would agree with but I don't want to be the cause of the conclusion of what you say. So go to YouTube search up white nationalists and realise how similar you are to them. I would congratulate you when you become a white nationalist but I am not a fan of them so if you are waiting for me to congratulate you don't but I will say I told you so.

Ah. Well, that's tangential to the thread. I can respond more fully later to that topic.
Okay I have a problem with tied votes then. If both sides are using the same logic and are on opposing sides of the question they both can't be right. This should reflect in the votes since at the end if both still think they are right using the same logic and being on the opposing sides of the question one is being logically inconsistent.

Not tied votes. Tied debates. Tied votes if there are votes on the debate are the cause of it but my problem is specifically with the percentage having debate ties factor as their debate percentage.

I just haven't taken the time to explain all of your questions, and since I think you have a different idea in application, it would take time for me to expound an in depth explanation properly presented which you could relate to.  That's all I mean.
So basically you don't think I understand and you are waiting until you can find a context in which I can understand? Just tailor it to video games like RPG's I should get your stance.
I have literally explicated that I not think of it as ideal in the previous sentence.  I think that disregarding nationality is idiotic.
There is more to nationalism than nationality. It is an ism like capitalism and socialism. It has ideas in that.
The founding of my country, and the respect of sovereign nations.
What in nationalism does it facilitate this?

It's not about win/loss ratio. It's about "site statistics," which may include such things as earning badges or accumulating large numbers of votes in order to inflate one's appearance of involvement and significance.
What is the significance in a tie if not diminishing the wins and losses a person has? If a tie didn't happen the win percentage if the person has received no losses and won 1 debate would be 100%. Now that there is a tie like with dustryder his percentage says 50%. Even though he hasn't lost a single debate.

and I haven't properly expounded yet in that setting.
What do you mean? You haven't properly understood what occurred?
I don't "support" nationalism, in the sense that I think it ideal.
But you do understand the path that you could go to right?
I don't find nationalism practical in a sense that a nation is inherently "good".
This is not about what is inherently is good is if this is good compared to other ideas. So do you consider you ideal of nationalism better than others ideals?
I view nationalism in a consequential sense in a world in which people do not agree to a universal state.
What do you mean like people care about the community around them or country more than people who are not apart of that? I think that is a given but that that person can still have that stance if they do not unfairly look down at others due to this bias.
Nationalism, is morally and practically necessitated in some respects.
Example?

looks down on emotionalism and instead sees disspassion as a state to strive for.
Tell me an instance of this that is relevant to someone who isn't a Christian. Do you have evidence of Christianity being true?
It is no strange thing that God can know what it is that we have freely chosen without having dictated what we chose.
Don't see how this isn't dispassionate or if it is. I would consider it fallacious so bad rationale. How can God create free will while also knowing the choices you are going to make?
It is God's will that we can choose to embrace Him or reject Him.
So it isn't about my will it is about God's will okay. Guess I can take this that you don't think we have free will.
because to reject The Truth is to choose death over life.
Evidence?
And as God has conquered death by death in the crucifixion and resurrection, to choose death is to die eternally.
No substance whatsoever. Can you make sure it is relevant to what you are saying and try to speak to a person who doesn't digest the Bible on a regular basis okay?
There is no true separation from God, who is omnipresent.
Evidence?

They are including immigrant children who attend public schools.

Native born children of immigrants qualify for child welfare benefits and are often counted as "illegals on welfare".

Illegals who try to claim unemployment benefits or worker's comp for injuries on the job are threatened with deportation and denied by the courts.
Do mean children born in America as in legal citizens?
So basically Greyparrot has no point.
I'm not aware of any evidence of illegal immigrants voting, there has been some confusion about people with green cards who are asked to register to vote when they get a driver's licence and then thinking they can vote since they were asked to register to vote, but there is no evidence that this has had any measurable effect on any elections.
So basically he doesn't have a point there since evidence of that does not exist.
The U.S. Constitution requires all humans are counted in order to properly draw congressional districts.

This count includes non voters of all types.  Children, prisoners, ex-cons, and even the severely disabled.  This clearly also includes immigrants.
So basically he doesn't have a point.

To sum up does anything Greyparrot said was right as in the opening statement?

If we pretend to believe in god then God could have created Adam and Eve to robotically obey commands given to them.  Then God could have programmed them to avoid the tree of knowlege and they would have avoided it, like the good automatons they were.
Do you think these people can realise how wrong they are?
My stance is that they have an emotional connection to it because it can't be logically the case that you are allowed what to do but someone already knows what you are going to do. This emotional connection can be seeing things and not seeing a doctor for medication or believing it from being indoctrinated into the Religion so you would have to understand how they were indoctrinated in order to make an argument tailored against it so that they understand how bad their position is.
What is your take on my stance?

Is Social Isolation Really That Bad?
-->
@blamonkey
My stance is that the world that we live in does not help introverts or whatever social isolationists would be called whether it is due to system to capitalism or not. Its priority is people who do well in a community they are in which in return means they can improve their social standing and have a greater pool of people to pick from as relationship material. The downside is of course it will increase the chance of people being obsessed and going to a point to follow you wherever you go but that is a small penalty compared to not doing well in a social community. An introvert tends to be less valued by their peers and by having less friends they have less people to rely on when they have an issue they need help with. This can lead to introverts being good at being independent but I argue that tends not to be the case. Instead it leads to depression by a feeling of not really belonging somewhere.

About the topic: It is justified why introverts are looked down upon. They are less valuable in economies, in relationships and advancing change. This all needed into making a functioning society where an extrovert tends to provide these benefits. If there was a way in which introverts can be valuable in society then it wouldn't be a problem. There are introverts using applications like Twitch and YouTube. I think people who use this site if an introvert start as an introvert but when they become accustomed to what they are doing they valuable in society due to their extroverted side.

I think I addressed what you said or at least I hope I did. This can be seen as an appeal to nature somewhat but I don't know how to phrase it better so forgive me if it can be seen as that.
