Faster speed limits result in increased incidences of accidents as well as more severe injuries, while the opposite is true for the reverse.

But despite this, you are for abolishing speed limits?
Faster speed limits result in increased incidences of accidents as well as more severe injuries, but the right to go fast is a trade off.

I am for abolishing speed limits in the US or at least making them much faster.  Communist nanny state China has faster speed limits than America, and I think this is ridiculous.  America is land of the free, so we should have the highest speed limits or we should be the ones that have no speed limits at all.  The germans like their mostly speedlimitless autobahn.

My 10 commandments is not the original 10 commandments.  My bio contains what I mean when I call for the American 10 commandments.

Also shooting guns is so fun and legalizing all guns doesn't increase the homicide rate.

And where is your evidence that "horny players" fear parenthood.
Deadbeat parents ditch their spouses after realizing they are pregnant.

There needs to be an incentive for parents to not be deadbeat parents.  My profile page says I'm "Other" on political ideology.  I don't want to pay for the welfare of single moms so single motherhood should try and be reduced.

How to end single motherhood
Screen-Shot-2018-11-13-at-10.34.52-AM.png (1382×1092) (whyy.org) states that the single motherhood rates are basically at all time highs for all races.  This site also states that blacks and Hispanics are more likely to end up in single motherhood homes than whites.  This partially explains why blacks and Hispanics are more likely to end up in prison and why they are more likely to end up in poverty than whites.

This isn't due to a racist police force that has as many minorities as a proportion of its population as the US population.  The lurking variable that many of our left leaning friends and family members fail to realize is the single motherhood epidemic that effects blacks and Hispanics more than it does whites.  Why this is the case is anyone's guess, but deadbeat African American dads not honoring their parental responsibilities is certainly not due to the perceived racism of society.

So this brings us to the question, how to reduce single motherhood so less people go to jail and less kids grow up in poverty.  My idea is to punish deadbeat parents for abandoning their parental responsibilities.

This consists of deadbeat dads getting a mandatory vastectomy and deadbeat moms getting their tubes tied.  The funds for this are paid for by the government and intended to be a deterrence to people to not abandon their parental responsibilities in order to provide their kids with hopefully a better life than they had.  If you abandon your parenting responsibilities once, you easily could do it again.

This idea and deterrence reduces the foster kid count in addition to reducing the poverty and incarceration rate in the long term as anyone unwilling to get a vastectomy or their tubes tied would suck up the parenting responsibilities that they owe to their kids.  If they have to set their kids up for adoption, this is fine if they get their tubes tied or a vastectomy before they set their kids up for adoption or decide to be a deadbeat parent.  Otherwise, you might make the same mistake again.  This also helps reduce overpopulation.

This idea also allows very horny people to get sterilized, and then have all the sex they want without the fear of becoming a parent.

I fail to see the problem with this idea.  It reduces long term poverty rates, incarceration rates, foster kid rates, it reduces overpopulation, it reduces the welfare state, and it allows horny players to get all the consensual sex they can get without fearing being a parent.

On the majority of the Autobahn, there is no speed limit and on the parts of the Autobahn where there is a speed limit, it is very high.  Many people use the Autobahn and it doesn't produce that many accidents.  I think if there was no speed limit on roads, there wouldn't be that many more accidents and we are more free.

The left loves to talk about copying Europe (why they advocate for UHC and free college).  Whether these ideas are good is a different topic, but one way to copy Europe is to have faster speed limits.

America is supposed to be land of the free, and abolishing speed limits is a natural extension of this freedom.

I worry about fully open borders. I think it would be a pretty sudden shock that’d be hard to adapt to
I think society can adapt to it.  Basically open borders worked for the UAE; they are rich as hell because they let people move there easily.

I’m okay with forcing people to pay for (clean energy), for two reasons.
Then buy clean energy yourself; India will probably let you.

Second, there’s inequality. Due to circumstances often outside their control, some people find it easier to afford solar panels than others. In that case, addressing that inequality probably requires some force.
Even wealthy advocates of solar panels like Hilliary Clinton do not have solar panels.  The majority of solar panel advocates can afford solar panels and don't have them.  If they won't use them, why should everyone else be forced too?

There’s evidence that it cut consumption poverty in half
R888d615ddf956dd87bdd06f35e9aa3b8 (655×451) (bing.com) and various other articles show the poverty rate stagnated right after the war on poverty after the poverty rate was falling for decades.

food stampschild allowances, and the EITC have encouraged poor people to have more kids (so they get more money) which ends up costing taxpayers more money than welfare should have cost.  The best way to reduce poverty in the long term is to end the single motherhood epidemic in the United States because someone who worked in the welfare department told me that if you had a father in the home, you didn't get welfare.  This encouraged fathers to flee from their kid's homes, which made kids (particularly black youth) to grow up without fathers (which in addition to providing fiscal stability also provide a male role model) just so they could receive welfare benefits.

Single motherhood should not be subsidized by the government and it should be eliminated.  Giving single moms more money for having kids encourages them to have more kids which cost taxpayers more money and only giving them welfare if they have a deadbeat dad encourages single motherhood.

Single motherhood needs to be eliminated if we wish for the poverty rate to plummet, and this is best done by making deadbeat dads get a vastectomy so they don't have more kids after they ditch their parental responsibilities.

Your list:

Stricter animal welfare regulations
I hope all the people advocating for animal rights are vegetarians or vegans otherwise this is hypocritical.

  1. Reform the US political system, by abolishing the filibuster, making DC and Puerto Rico states, creating independent redistricting commissions, abolishing the Electoral College, and adopting ranked choice voting for most elections.
I support the abolishment of the filibuster.  DC should become part of Maryland and not be a state.  I think PR should become a state (so I'm not rejecting statehood on political ideology). Why do you support the repeal of the electoral college?  The common argument is, "One person; one vote.  Represent everybody the same".  However this idea taken to its logical conclusion would abolish the senate as well because the Senate represents people from small states more per person.
Substantially (in the range of 2x–3x) increase legal immigration into the US (of both low-skilled and high-skilled workers), and give amnesty to and create a path to citizenship for all undocumented immigrants currently in the US. Also significantly lower restrictions on goods and capital mobility, though these are less important than labor mobility.
I support open borders on the grounds that it is the easiest way to get out of debt.
Efforts to reduce global and American environmental pollution (and mitigating their effects), including substantially scaling down the use of coal power, significant clean energy subsidies to reduce solar and wind prices in international markets (as well as subsidies for advanced geothermal energy, which is especially promising), clean energy R&D investments, carbon pricing (and raising the gas tax), expanding the use of other alternative energy sources (e.g. nuclear power, more fracking), and a nationwide lead cleanup.
If you support clean energy, buy solar panels.  I want solar panels but don't believe they should be forced.  Don't force people who don't want to pay for clean energy to pay for it through subsidies.  I would say the same thing for fossil fuels.

Increase investment in antipoverty programs
War on poverty failed.

@Tejretics
I want to run for POTUS, so for me this should be pretty serious.

My goals in no particular order are:

1) Eliminate the US debt while cutting taxes and not cutting social programs by increasing the number of taxpayers.  The plan is below:

2) Implement law based on the 10 commandments and legalize anything not prohibited in the list.  This is not an exact copy of the 10 commandments, but my 9 commandments are on page 3 of the below document

3) Repeal the war on poverty as it has caused the poverty rate to stagnate after falling for decades.

4) Abolish all gun restrictions at the federal level that don't reduce the homicide rate (including but not necessarily limited to semi automatic gun bans and background checks).

5) End all wars and implement a minimum of 10 US military bases in every NATO country (my 1st link shows how it will be paid for).

6) Reduce the abortion rate by expanding access to contraception.

Thoughts?

Doesn't alter the fact that all guns are inherently dangerous....That was the whole point of guns.
Guns are dangerous, but dangerous things shouldn't be banned.  Driving at any speed is dangerous and making the speed limit on highways and roads only 4 kph would save over 30,000 lives per year.  But we shouldn't do this because freedom is a legitimate trade off.

Should people get a vote on issues that don’t effect them?
I have heard many SJWs and leftists insist that men can’t have a say on abortion since they can’t get pregnant.

While this is not accurate as if abortion was banned, men would have a harder time getting consensual sex, I believe you are allowed a say on issues that don’t effect you. Otherwise you could argue (even if I disagree) that the following groups of people don’t get a vote on the following issues:

-Men can’t vote on abortion (even though despite a place where abortion is banned makes it harder to get consensual sex, pro life men don’t care and are willing to sacrifice a sex life to prevent abortion).
-White people don’t get a say on white privilege, repealing qualified immunity and paying reparations.
-People who don’t own guns and are not mass shooting survivors don’t get a say on gun control (since gun laws don’t effect them)
-People who don’t get taxed don’t get a say on tax policy and people who aren’t on government assistance don’t get a say on spending policy.  I guess this means unemployed people don’t get a say on taxes and rich people don’t get a say on spending.

There are probably more examples, but no matter what your political views are, you should support the right of everyone, whether they can get pregnant or not, whether they are white or not, whether they are a gun owner or not, and irrespective of if they pay taxes or depend on the government (whether through welfare or through a government job), you should allow anyone to have a say on any issue or issues they are passionate about.

That’s how freedom works.  If you still believe that men can’t have a say on abortion but want a say on gun control despite not owning a gun, this is being a hypocrite and people who are unwilling to follow their own advice should not be taken seriously whether those people are democrats or republicans.

Secondly, this site involves debating taboo topics most senators don't want to have to take a hard stance on.
Senators already take stances on issues.  This is how they get elected.

It could jeapordise their reputation significantly given what users like Wylted have done and what harsh things others have said.
I don’t think what Wylted says would impact the political careers of senators.

Banning semi automatic guns and implementing background checks does not reduce the homicide rate: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/11yflOMimI67xOmbzx3E_f6x0MlweEgjkwUpmJ8Ww8Ug/edit

gun murders are wildly out of control in the usa versus other countries while non-gun murders are not- this isn't just a bad person problem. areas with more guns have more murder)
Your comparing extremely different areas.  If you want a more accurate gun control experiment, compare the same areas BEFORE and AFTER they implemented some type of gun control so you reduce the likelihood of a lurking variable causing the correlation.  That’s what I did in the above sheet and based on these results, gun control laws don’t reduce the homicide rate.

Why I left Christianity
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1lQfy1PQl2STiQ69vFs_ZJrR9gCW82WD3_I8qKCZohrA/edit.Page 1 starts out all the times God advocates the death penalty for a group that does not deserve it.

Many Christians say, “The New Testament erases the Old Testament”.

Page 10 of this document shows the New Testament stating that the Old Testament is still valid and as a result, the New Testament advocates the death penalty for all the times the Old Testament did.

Because of this, I say good riddance to Christianity.  Unfortunately God still exists, but I need to find a different religion other than Christianity.

The stereotype is that orphans aren’t treated well by the state.  I don’t know how accurate this stereotype is.  I have met several foster kids and ex foster kids and one is very nice.  The other 2 are normal.  If the foster system treated them poorly, I think they would be much worse people.

I think the benefits of someone identifying as a 6 year old to get free stuff from the state outweigh the costs.

Identifying as a 6 year old means the state provides for you like they do for any 6 year old without parents willing to take care of them.  Then you don’t have to work.

Six year olds can still be tried as adults in a court of law, solely at the judges discretion.

The judges would see the 52 year old man as a 6 year old, out of the fear of being labeled, “trans age phobic” or whatever term is used.  Then the judge would take care of this man for the rest of his life on the taxpayer’s dime.

I think recognizing transgendered sets a dangerous precedent.  If someone who was known as a man comes out as a woman, does this make it acceptable for a 52 year old man to identify as a 6 year old girl?  If it does, then tens of millions of American adults would identify as a minor in order to avoid having to work, which would destroy the economy.  If a bunch of high named scientists said that some adults feel like children, should society treat those adults as children and as a result, let them not work?

This precedent set by trans allies and many people who claim to be trans I think is a dangerous precedent.

@RM

I think the African countries you mentioned have gangs, not private police.  The difference is private police have to abide by the laws of the United States, or whatever country they are in (French cops have to abide by French law, British cops have to abide by British law, etc).

If you try to hire a gang and tell them to kill someone because your angry at them, they would do it.

If you try to hire a private police force to kill someone because your angry at them, they wouldn't do it because it would be against the law.  Private police have to operate within the law, otherwise they are gang members.  If police kill someone because their payer told them to, they aren't police, they are gang members.  At that point, the friend of the person whom they murdered would use their private police to bring the gang to justice and face penalties for the murder.

Gangs are illegal under my model, but private police is not because it would save money, it would in the long term catch more criminals (as under our current police system, 40% of murderers get away with it, and this proportion is higher with other crimes)(https://www.vox.com/2018/9/24/17896034/murder-crime-clearance-fbi-report) and the private police have incentive to improve so customers trust them more to catch criminals.  The government does not improve, otherwise many more criminals would be caught.

If private police took over and one of their cops killed someone unjustly, they risk losing buisiness.  Then wanting police reform doesn’t cause the right wing strawman of , “You hate our boys in blue” and instead can be viewed by the right as, “You hate this company” which would be much less objectionable and as a result, can garner more right wing support as “capitalism being at play”.

Privatizing police would be people paying $600 a year or so (when the government takes $1800 a year to fund the police) and if they get murdered, raped, robbed, or otherwise violated, they can report it to their police company.  I don’t think it would cause curropt buisinesses to exist.

I think privatizing the police would hold the police more accountable than a government run monopoly on the police buisiness.  If a government police officer kills someone, there is rarely recourse.  If a private police officer kills someone, the company risks losing business.  Let’s privatize almost everything.

@SkepticalOne
Some parents deserve no respect.
This commandment has been repealed from my proposed American commandments.

You shall not murder. Punishment is life imprisonment.
Leaves no room for rehabilitation.

You shall not rape.  Punishment is life imprisonment.
Definite improvement over the original. But, again, no room is left for rehabilitation.
I don’t think murderers or rapists should be getting rehabilitated.  Their victims did not consent.

There should be an age limit, and ...can someone steal $999 without consequence? I would also be against indentured servitude...it seems like we should be beyond that in this day and age.
If someone steals less than $1000 (like $500), then they would be doing community service for a week.  The commandment’s punishment is a ratio.

If you steal money, you should pay back your debt.  Indentured servitude generally takes years, this would be done in a few weeks if a small amount of money is stolen.

Is it really adultery when both partners consent? Besides that, I'm not sure why government has a legitimate interest in personal relationships.
Most people don’t want to be cheated on, so there needs to be deterrence.  Adultery is a married person having sex with someone other than their spouse, whether their spouse consents or not.

Would it be a crime to tell a white lie or protect someone with a lie?
There is no such thing (with few exceptions) as a lie in a court of law.  But given that it is basically lying, the commandment can be repealed.
