What or who determines ' the # number of times' as being 'too much'?
A trusted authority figure
What or who determines 'he range of how an attack happens' as well as the measurement system of the severity?

Too much: the # number of times the person has went after someone unjustified breaking of CoC
who-person going over
Severly: the range of how an attack happens; doxxing, personal attacks, extreme cases of gore, violence, threats

Who does not specifically pertain to anyone unless they have had repeat instances of over the top CoC offenses
Thick skinned is not to instantly ban, delete, close, a forum until it has escolated to something severly breaking, or distracting the DART members

Moderation that does not instantly ban, or delete, or block, someone or something when offended and lets things happen until it escolates to much

You have a fair point here. But still, it should be thick skinned with other alternatives

Wait, this was directed at me?No, mate. This wasn't directed at you at all: (https://www.debateart.com/forum/topics/1011?page=1&post_number=13). By clicking reply so the my response was directed at you, I meant it to not be directed at you.Buddy I tried to help you but what?Oh yeah, dude. You're helping a lot by attempting to frame me as disagreeing with you, when we are almost typing the same thing. When I said: "Having a little bit of drama is fine. Inundating the site with it is not," this is COMPLETELY DIFFERENT from your: "Again, I am not saying "all drama is good". I am saying little drama or stuff that gets the site going will not hurt it in the future. Excessive extreme drama will tear down the site. Some little beef won't harm anyone."We obviously disagree on the amount of drama that is acceptable. Thanks for posting a worthwhile objection to the literal opposite stance I'm taking, whilst attempting to argue against me.You and Castin can't bloody read a damn thing.now I can prove your a hypocriteAnd now you're talking smack about my 'a hypocrite'.Stupid kid.

I joined the site to have reasonable conversations with people just like you and nothing has changed. I got involved with Drama and make forum posts just like you did. Unlike you, the Drama is with people I know from DDO and I like to talk about it. I have not started BIG DRAMA with anyone. I make threads and discuss about it. Thanks for saying you called me out...now I can prove your a hypocrite

DART's Discord is a place where you can share memes and take part in live mafia or debate. I feel since it is in the footer, people should be notified by the link to join if they can't find it! Come on in and join

If you ask people why they joined DDO, you'll often find it was because of an interesting debate or discussion. For me, it was that famous JKenyon vs. Danielle debate: (https://www.debate.org/debates/On-balance-capitalism-is-more-humanitarian-than-communism./1/). I hadn't quite seen people write like this before, and I didn't know a thing about debating, but that's what got me onto the site -- quality, thought-provoking content. You find me a single person who came to DDO for the drama, and you'll quickly find out that he/she is a worthless troll.
Your right. The sole goal of DART is for intellectuals to combine and discuss things. You don't think with a mixing pot of religions, cultures, political views, etc, we wouldn't have shit on the site. It is part of us humans is to stir drama and be passion. Again, I am not saying "all drama is good". I am saying little drama or stuff that gets the site going will not hurt it in the future. Excessive extreme drama will tear down the site. Some little beef won't harm anyone
Lol dude. It sounds like you want a Habbo hotel/Runescape hangout. I've already expressed why that's a bad idea, but whatever. If this site turns into that, you'll see why it's a bad idea.
I don't want a toxic environment like Hotel Hideaway(made by people who made Habbo) or Habbo where the main rules are Drama, Drama, and DramaAlert. I don't want no drama and have little to no activity. I want something that fuels activity like a bit of drama and more intellectual stuff. Right now that isn't where the community is that bc of DDO migration. it will in a year. be patient
Right okay lol.
You obviously don't like me lol I could care less

This website isn't created for twats and dickbags. But a little bit of it won't hurt. That's why we have the people we have

Thick skinned moderation where only real shit gets banned or countless offenses get banned is the best thing we can for a site like DART. We need activity and we need some controversy now and then to boost activity. Once the activity is boosted, this can be a hub of all of your debate and forum needs. All we need is some activity and some things to keep going.
Thick Skinned Moderation keeps the site functioning. Letting drama happen and only taking action is what we need to survive. If every little hurt feeling gets banned, a decrease in activity would happen and this site would go down the toilet with no active members. Having lieniant thick skinned mods is KEY for success on the website.
So what can you do to improve yourself and grow thick skin
A) Dive deep. Someone calling you a cunt does not mean anything. They are, in all honesty, inmature

B) It's just the internet. People can say whatever they want and do what they want here. What they say on the internet is stupid, because they can't tell it to you in your face
C) BLOCK THEM. It is not that hard to do. RM could do it to me, you can do it to anyone so they don't mention you
D) Turn off the computer
E) They can't do anything to you over the computer except hack you, and you can call 911 on them or get a mod to ban them
There. Now you have thick skin.

This isn't helping the website, in the long run. The website needs quality content, in order to survive. Merely having a whole lot of posts full of drama doesn't generate quality content. In fact, you're likely going to scare the potentially quality posters away, because they won't be interested in soap operas.Having a little bit of drama is fine. Inundating the site with it is not.
Right now we should be focusing short-term and how to help the site now versus later. I am sure we will develop long-term strategies to help, but now we need short-term drama to increase activity so people can find our site and see what's going. Eventually intellectuals will flood within forums. Also
DebateArt.com subforum is just news and drama. Deep stuff is found throughout the website if you look hard enough

Before you joined DDO, there used to be quality content at a semi-regular pace. Sure, there was drama and bs. But there was sufficient quality content that people of intellectual merit would wait around for it.I'm not looking for hope, either. People were hopeful DDO wouldn't die. Now look at it. We need results. Also, I haven't seen enough of your posts to determine whether what you write is worthwhile.
I know there used to be intellectuals, for I read some of their stuff. Like I said, the active members who immigrated here were not really "intellectuals," they were people who were close and passionate about DDO and wanted to come to DART. We need these people more than intellectuals. Intellectuals don't stay too long on the site and eventually leave. We need loyal, active members. Soon we will see a bunch of new members come to DDO.
I don't know if it was bsh that banned me (I actually doubt it). I think it was before he was a mod. But yes, from what I can tell (not a whole lot tbh), bsh seems to be doing a great job.
Depends when you got banned
I'm fairly certain bsh isn't the only mod. I'm referring to the incompetent mod who banned me before.
There were really no other mods minus Mike
Lol I don't need to talk to anyone, as if I need to rant. I made clear points on why this site is disappointing, and that's all that needs to be seen. This has less to do with "my experience", and more to do with the health of the entire site.
I was just saying if you ever wanna talk intellectually that you could...I ain't a therapist

Bending the COC does not justify you calling someone something very vulgar in the sense. This forum is to discuss and debate what is deemed self defense and what is deemed threat
