As a general rule of thumb, you start out as incompetent at most things you do. So would you really quit just because you start out in the same spot most people would?

It's not that easy. Politics and all. You still only think one level deep. Think 2 levels deep and work your way down to 3 or 4 levels deep. Thinking too much about a situation and going deeper can be a bit problematic. But 3 or 4 levels is good. 6 levels take you to things like "Roku's Basalisk" and are useless. I can't avoid thinking on those levels because of mental illness, but it is best avoided to remain practical.

If I don't handwrite them then I copy and paste everything writtwn into collumns deleting all the fluff.

If I am energetic I will break down all the points by actually typing them into a computer if not I summarize all my thoughts.

The chart is to simplify note taking. It is in collumns. 

Column 1 contentions collumn 2 rebuttals collumn 3 counter rebuttals. Collum 4 each persons impact analysis of the points to help guide me into how I should weigh the arguments and rebuttals.

I also lie to my subordinates in leadersbip positions by telling them they are competent.  In reality they won't be competent for another 3 months when I have finished training them to do things the correct way. The number of people who are competent in the roles assigned to them or taken by them is probably about 5% . I'm a pretty good leader so I can usually bring the number up to 25% while Lso decreasing the level of incompetence in the other 75% to a managable level. 

The strength of the argument can not be determined until you see the rebuttals and premises. Imagine the following to bare assertions.

1. Aliens are real and suck on my testicles when I sleep.

2. The sun exists.

You would probably rank argument 2 as stronger, but that is the incorrect way to do so. You should judge debates as if you have no prior knowledge at all of anything whatsoever. These are both bare assertions and should be weighted exactly evenly at this point. So no the strength of an argument shoyld not be "determined" by the judge, but by the debaters themselves. Who should debate on a blank slate.

You are doing it wrong.. You shouldn't be working out how strong their arguments are. That is inserting your own opinion into the debate

Forfeited debates are just conduct points. As far as walls of text are concerned just try to formalise the arguments ingo syllogisms (for example) to retain the arguments better and go from there.

Bsh1, you haven't responded to my criticisms such as in the "recusing" thread because you know my criticisms are warranted. You know he did pm me to tell me to kill myself before? He openly admits this. The point is, they Don't know what's true. Bsh1 was believed merely on his reputation as perceived by Castin. The fact is what I did was not a bannable offense, and they used a puppet to insulate themselves from criticism.  And why should somebody with a history of Pming  me disgusting things, be believed over somebody who never makes these sorts of accusations, and only made the accusation in a single instance. I could have used that accusation to win debates in the past. Why did I wait until now? The reason may be more obvious than it seems, because it actually happened.  

What's hilarious is I have never reported a vote on a debate, but they still banned me from doing so for some moronic reason.

Thett is being an obvious asshole and troll as a way to discredit the mod-opposition party. He can not hide his close ties with bsh1. At one point he was so close to bsh1 publicly that he ran as his VP. He also openly fantasized about bsh1 openly in his book by making him a "buff" pirate. Bsh1's dick is so far down thett's throat, that it is obvious they are on the same team. This obvious mod manipulation of the social order is inexcusable.
