Because? it was shallow analysis. Those kinds of posts are easily contrived. You just puffed yourself up, you really expect the town reaction is going to be, "nope, certainly no way Wylted is clever enough to contrive that. Must have been a town tell."
I can easily fake a post like that. Grey Parrot cannot  easily contrive that response. I don't give a shit what your read on me is. You won't lynch me before DP3, and I don't expect myself to be around DP3. I certainly won't be here DP4.

You can challenge me to a debate on noob pressure vs experienced pressure if you want, so long as I am allowed to copy and paste FT's arguments against you or against some opponent he had with the exact same flawed reasoning for thinking noob pressure was better.

How are you misunderstanding everything I say? Is this contrived or are you on here high off of crack or something? A noob town slip is worse than a noob scum slip, and no they don't happen just as often because people are generally town more often than they are scum.

I also don't know how people like you exist that always town read me when I am scum and scum read me when I am town. I don't buy your read as legitimate here because I scum read you, but honestly if you are always wrong about me, just do the smart thing and read me opposite of what you feel so you can be right 100% of the time as opposed to wrong 100% of the time.

It's not my job to not look scummy. It's your job to recognize me as unorthodox and stop idiotically believing unorthodox=scummy. I don't act scummy jack ass.

@Buddamoose
You do understand the purpose of the analogy wasn't the specific position, it was the players being rookies. And it was an observation of probability. The players most likely to belie their affiliation are rookies. Yes, there is a risk that they act scummy and get lynched. But that risk is present when pressuring any player...

I think you lost to FT in a debate over this where his criticisms are the same as mine. Noob slips are a bad thing. They're easy to read as scum anyway and when the claim doctor or cop at L3 or something it's usually bad. I know the difference between a noob slip and a scum slip but many of you guys will lynch because a noob misread his role or character or something. Even when I am scum I can usually wriggle my way out of a lynch and won't feel pressure even at L2. Noobs are different. They can feel like a few votes are serious pressure and release information they shouldn't.

When you pressure a noob during RVS, it is extremely rare for it to have good results. Pressuring experienced players is a better strategy but still not optimal. What is optimal is pressuring people you generally have a hard time reading so you can pin them down with their soft claims and have a more reliable read near the end game. I honestly don't have a hard time reading you. I think you're scum right now. You aren't even tunneling with as much heart as you normally do.

Band wagons more than he would others does not mean generally bandwagons. It just means it is in a believable range of probability. I assume in about 20% of similar circumstances GP would bandwagon me without much information. Maybe as much as 35% of the time in similar circumstances. That is well above average without being the general almost default move.

@Aporia
I think he said it was to illicit reactions. What I want to know is his premises for thinking it will illicit reactions that are affiliation indicative. Wouldn't anyone regardless of affiliation call him on his bullshit in a similar way? I don't see how the reactions would be useful.

His response to this may help me figure out if this is a well thought out strategy on his part to generate scum tells or if he was actually trying to play up his noobiness like scum tend to do.

Trying to make us think this was his first game. thinking the wagons were all intended to be lynches and the phony enthusiasm of the first post. Seen scum play up their noobishness plenty of times, but they are usually noobs when they do so.

It's contrived because it is bad. If some of these people used bad logic, I would just assume it's because they are mentally disabled, but I know Buddamoose isn't mentally disabled so the only explanation for the bad logic is that it is contrived.

I've been reading all day but not responding. I was mostly concentrating on budda's posts for the second reading of the DP and the posts of warren supa and vaarka for the 3rd read. I honestly get warren vaarka and supa confused for each other a lot because of the quality of their posts, though I feel guilty for putting warren in their because he is a cut above them in terms of reading comprehension. Playing ability is a different story.

I want to know why vaarka voted for lunatic before I firm my read of town on him up. I want to know why Supa struggled with reading comprehension of posts to the degree he did. I suspect it is because when somebody is scum, particularly if they hate being scum than they have a hard time keeping track of the game, but they post out of a sense of obligation anyway. I  think that is what is going on there, but want his explanation.

warren I want to hear his philosophy on the stunt he pulled. currently it sounds like bullshit

I think Buddamooseis scum. All of his analysis seems contrived. He also seems like hewould rather insult people’s logic (using logical fallacies to doso) rather than scum hunt.

“This actuallydoes not provide a reason for why, a self proclaimed narcissist,would cede control of a DP, amd bw onto a wagon based upon reasoningyou were explicit and clear that you didn't agree with.”

In this postbuddamoose pretends as if he doesn’t realize that you can disagreewith somebody’s strategy of targeting experienced players first,without criticizing their choice of who to target. I might thinkBuddamoose is good to target for reasons not pertaining toexperience, but he pretends as if that is impossible.

“ Then youare pretty much admitting you pulled that reasoning out of ur rear?Cause, to get this straight, GP is not sus for bw'ing because becausehe idolizes you so that explains why, but him idolizing you actuallyisnt going to generally cause a bw. “

In this postbuddamoose pretends as if he doesn’t realize somebody can have ahigher than normal chance of band wagoning me and still not be amindless ape. He acts like he doesn’t understand the role influenceplays and is insinuating the only two options are mindless ape orsomeebody who is a completely independent thinker. This is not badlogic on budda’s part this is all contrived. If it wasn’t thanatleast one thing he says would point to genuine scum hunting asopposed to just questioning the logic of others and making contrivedstatements based on obviously faulty logic.

“s i said, if youare forming a gameplan in say football, you don't form a gameplanaround attacking the cornerback that's a veteran and is considered aformidable corner, you go after the rookie, it simply put generatessuccess far more often than going after that veteran who has seen itall before. “

This is ridiculous,besides the obvious reason that we don’t actually know who theopposing team is, it could be us attacking the rookie on our team, itjust isn’t necessarily true of good strategy. Sometimes you attackthe strong corner because you have the best receiver in the league,and the rookie corner is also guarding a rookie. Or maybe the otherteam is playing Man with one corner but using the zone defense on theother side of the field which is tough to throw against particularlyif your quarterback is a rookie.

“2 wagons with 1vote each during RVS, does not derail a game by a third person going,"neither of you two are pressuring smartly" and voting adifferent person. In fact, that is fmpov what a townie would do. Why?The goal of town is for town to control the direction of DP's. On DP1one doesn't know who is or is not town, so if you see people placingvotes you disagree with, as town you attempt to assert control anddrive it in a direction you agree with because the only player oneknows is conclusively town or strong town during RVS, is ones”

More obviouslycontrived logic. During RVS in most games you have about 5 differentwagons in the beginning because most people in the town pile are lowIQ individuals. Unless you have a town read on somebody it is betterto go after an already established target to begin generating readsthan form a new wagon that is entirely useless. We need to supporteach other unless we have a town read on somebody that is beingtargeted, otherwise the game won’t progree. Budda knows this thoughand is just intentially and knowingly using stupid logic.

“On a final note,if the purpose of your pressure was to get me to produce content togauge affiliation, congrats, the content has been produced. So whereis your read. If you haven't been able to gauge it yet, howschocking, it's almost as if its harder to gauge experienced playersaffiliation. “

Your cockiness isastounding, you suck at mafia which is why we already have a scumread on you. Instead of using contrived logic, you should have beenusing good logic. You are easy to see through.

'”m just sayingdude, it's becoming pretty obvious your letting him bw'ing you affecthow your viewing his behavior. I get it, you don't want to FoSsomeone who bw'd you because then they'll usually stop bw'ing you.But he's gonna stop anyways because he never agreed with your wagonto begin with. So once another wagon gains comparable steam, he'sgonna abandon voting with you anyways, whether or not his motive isto generate a wagon ASAP, which doesn't make sense as a motiveanyways.”

Obviously bad andcontrived logic. Yes you should build wagons early and support onesthat you might not prefer if that is what it takes to build them. Iwant to generate reads fast and progress the game at a very rapidpace.

“Faking posts isntindicative of affiliation... and it's not risky... okay bud.”

It’s usuallyindicative of affiliation, unless it’s me. You should also be scumreading warren. I don’t know why he thinks a bunch of people whohave played a lot of games with him, would believe he was a noob.This is more contrived bad logic on your part.

@Vaarka
Since when has GP ever idolized you?
Most people idolize me. You're overthinking the braggadocioness of a narccissist. Also he clearly chearleads me a bit because we both are clearly part of a small handfull of paleo conservatives or beliefs that closely resemble that here. I don't think I've ever disagreed with a statement he has made, so he likely has never disagreed with a statement I have made, so it would be natural to cheerlead me a bit. He chearleads me in political threads, and you avoid those threads so I don't expect you to have seen it, not that it is all that noticable anyway.

budda, two people posted. I don't think greyparrot is a mindless ape, that will automatically vote for whoever I vote for, I just said I think he idolizes me a bit. Even if he were a mindless ape who would always vote the way I vote, I still don't have a scum read at the moment and am not that interested in getting him to vote the way I do.

I flipped votes because aporia gave me the information I requested. It's that simple. I already gave a soft claim on my very first post. I think that is sufficient.

I don't believe in pressuring noobs early either neccesarily, they seem to have odd slips that can easily be interpreted incorrectly by an anxious town. I guess I'll help with budda for now. I usually prefer to target unknown quantities this early.

I'll help you for now, unless I change my mind after I wake up tommorrow.

I also consider my night action power as useless. I certainly hate these types of roles, though I kind of play one in real life. I talked about playing one in the first chapter of my unrefined yet to be written memoir on entering the fostercare system. I want more information on aporia. Like what her experience level is possible former user names I would recognize and why she thinks being formidable as mafia is reason to get an early claim.

@thett3
when did tranny become the new n word anyway

I started a blog about transhumanism years back, and I called myself some variation of the word trans, and I started to notice I was building a huge following. Half of my users referred to themselves as a tranny in the user name, and I think all of the users were confused about the blogs theme, but kept coming back to read more of it. I'm embarrassed to say it took me a long time before I figured out that most of my users thought I was transexual, and were showing my blog support based strictly on that alone. I think I ended the blog with about 200 users. I have been more involved with the trans community than BSH1 or anybody else un the site who is not transexual ever has. He honestly just makes him self look stupid by thinking any more than 1% of that population is offended by the word.

1. I might not report a vote because I don't want to look like a whiny bitch.
2. Intimidating my opponent out of reporting votes who just so happens to get less unfair votes than me
3. pretending like I don't want the debate moderated but report every vote 24 hours before the end of the debate so only votes in his favor are removed.
4. waiting until opponents leave the site or get banned before reporting votes, even if I had more unfair votes than them, altering the outcome of the debate.

Now my hand is cramping from all the writing. I'm sure you can figure out more

No because what if somebody dies before the voting period of the debate as could happen in this debate https://www.debateart.com/debates/244

How is that person supposed to seek justice against unfair votes? everyone should be able to report votes, not allowing it has brought up 20 different scenarios in my head to game that system.
