I just count votes. I don't conduct trials either, nor do I decide which parties are allowed to run. I am just overseeing the process.

Virt has just made it clear we will need to conduct trials off site and under pseudonyms. Prior to the election I will provide a list of names for people not allowed to vote, but will not label any toxic.

The mods are outsiders who did not earn their position. We need elected officials, not kings and dictators (outside of emergency parameters)

Virt, You weren't saying it was essentially useless when you voted against me on DDO. Hypocrite

ACtually on debate.org a site president got a lot done. Bsh1 made the site more fun with more community engagement and worked with mods to improve the site in other ways. Don't underestimate the effect of soft power

It is a focal point for the voice of the community. A community organizer of sorts and we will fight to give them the power to do mod related activities. Also the president has extra powers in times of emergency. Etc.

It's official and unsanctioned. We don't need mods or even this website really to be a community. We are a community of people and we are allowed to elect representatives whether they sanction it or not

How the Presidential Election Will work

1. The Dart presidential election will be held on December 14th of this year. It is a process necessary to give a single voice to the community. A place where we can have a voice that can either work against or with the site administration to improve this place. This is very necessary given the general incompetence of the mods appointed for god knows what reasons. 

2. Only Candidates involved in an official Party will be able to run for office. The party will work among themselves to figure out how to decide a candidate to represent them. In order for a Party to be officially declared it needs 10 party members registered. You can start a political party by creating a thread and declaring one, and then getting 10 people on board.

3. You can only sign up for one party and switching parties is not allowed. Ever. Do not join a party unless you are sure you want to stay in that party. 

4. I will personally be moderating the election to make sure things run smoothly on December 14th.

5. Site administration will be disqualified from voting in the election. They already have a voice.

6. Prior to the election, a member of the site (with my approval) may be considered toxic and put on trial. If they lose the trial, they will not be allowed to vote. We don't need toxic members having a voice in the direction of this site. 

7. A presidential term will last 1 year. 

Also RM attacked me and relentlessly attacks me. I would leave him alone if not for him always attacking me first. All my responses to him were retaliatory. This all started with a rape debate, and RM somehow thought that joking about rapes is tantamount to committing rapes or something. I do the child molestation jokes, because it is literally the only thing RM responds to. He can dish out insults and hurt people, but there is only a single insult that hurts RM, so it gets used any time he inflicts emotional wounds on me. 

I have never admitted to IRL Molesting or being convicted of it. RM that is very ignorant of you.

I felt bad at first because I thought you made a small mistake and they over reacted. My opposition to you is mostly for fun not serious, but you still have not owned it. "YOU ARE SORRY IF WE ARE HURT BY YOUR ACTIONS" 

The correct apology is. "HEY LOOK GUYS. I made a mistake. Whether somebody was hurt or not, I behaved inappropriately . I was wrong. You are apologizing for how people feel about your actions instead of apologizing for your actions. Don't apologize if it is insincere.  Also you are a valuable member here mod or not, but you need to acknowledge you are human and that you make mistakes, and not try to dodge this by apologizing for how other are "hurt" or disappointed. If nobody was hurt and if everyone were proud of you, then it would still be the right thing to accept responsibility. So I am asking you. Please stay. Please apologize. Please step down. You are among friends and we are disappointed but we want to move on and grow from this. Nobody can forgive you until you own it though

Those who have entered this thread and taking this lightly make me sick If I made the same comment to a 16 year old girl I would be crucified. In fact outside of bsh1 anybody on the site would practically be crucified. What makes me sicker is that we all make mistakes. That was one unacceptable in a position of authority.  I have been the general manager if a fast food chain and worked with plenty of 16 year olds, and I would have had my life destroyed for saying anything like that. When in a position of authority, you need to be aware of the imbalance of power and choose your words wisely. You need to be aware 16 year olds are vulnerable and easy to manipulate and act respectfully.  The worst part of this is that BSH1 has yet to apologize. Even in stepping down he does not say "I'm sorry" . He is playing the victim , when he is far from it

The direction of this site could go a lot of ways. I don't want to be inconvenienced coding an alternative to this, so please just gold off talking anything political until I can talk to you in pm
