Ok my travis scott burger is here let me eat
You had McD's delivered?  Quelle bourgeoise.

I don't really know the work of Travis Scott but the meal deal came up the other day and my sister-in-law says, "pfffh, I would never order a Travis Scott burger"  then I read what in the meal deal and my nephew says "Mom, that is exactly what you order from Mcdonald's every time, including side of BBQ sauce!"

Well I wasn't aware that my PM says that the mimic I have isn't the normal mimic. It is a variant in which the person I visit doesn't lose their role. I forgot to include it in my claim before because I wasn't aware that it was not the normal mimic. Sorry
but that's not nearly good enough, man

You actually reached out and grabbed a specific role description and included it with your claim.  That role description contradicts your claim here.  You can't tell me you didn't read that dynamic and we also know you go out and read the play advice for you role from various sites (as do I).

Nope, I think you are caught red handed.  If you want to live one more night for a chance to recruit once more, you can give up skittlez entirely and we'll lynch him first.

Er, I am a bit lost here on how you arrived to this conclusion. Not the recruiter part, but the part about skittlez being the recruiter.
No you're probably right.  Intel is claiming he did the visiting and no watch/tracks claims are out there so he's more likely to be telling the truth there.  Also, if skitz was telling the truth about RB DP1, he would be the most appetizing candidate for recruitment

If I am right, then skitz is the likely recruiter and should be prioritized

Tbh, he posted a link from a shitty site...

Quote from MU:
The Mimic is a town-aligned role that once per game may target another player at night and learn their alignment. Depending on what alignment that player has, the Mimic will be converted into a different role.
We also know Bullish said this is a rolemad. My role has a variant to it as well, so I'm willing to believe this isn't the idle type of Mimic.
WTF?

why are you editing out the part that confirms what I just said?

The Mimic is a town-aligned role that once per game may target another player at night and learn their alignment. Depending on what alignment that player has, the Mimic will be converted into a different role. If the targeted player is town (or Godfather), the Mimic will steal their role, and the targeted person will become Vanilla Townie. If the Mimic targets a mafia-aligned player (or a Miller), the Mimic will become a Vanilla Townie. If the Mimic targets a third party or independently aligned player, the Mimic will be converted to an Amnesiac.

Intel isn't known for being a reliable source lol
but Intel is and Intel knew he a transformed a PR to a VANILLA and didn't mention during the how many VANILLAs discussion

I have totally revamped my thinking

Intel claims to have mimicked RB and acquired RB skill.  According to the role description included by Intel that would transform skittlez into VANILLA.  He would have rec'd some post overnight saying he's now VANILLA

but

skittlez has posted 7 times without mentioning that he lost his PR overnight.  I have posted a board with two RB's and neither Intel or skittlez corrected.

During the "how many VANILLAs" dispute, skittlez said nothing and Intel said there is probably only one VANILLA when his claimed night action added one VANILLA to the game- which he did not see fit to say then but claims out of the blue now.

My theory is that skittlez is scum recruiter who successfully recruited Intel last night.

Pie is probably town in my opinion. He's certainly not vanilla in case that wasn't yet clear, but based on meta he's also probably not a town negative utility role. He's either scum or town and has a positive utility.
Why do you suppose Pie lied about never seeing VANILLA in a rolemad game when we see that all time and know Pie has seen that all the time?

DICTATORSHIP CANCELLED: Trump self-pwns
BREAKING:

WASHINGTON — President Trump said early Friday that he and the first lady have tested positive for the coronavirus, throwing the nation’s leadership into uncertainty and escalating the crisis posed by a pandemic that has already killed more than 207,000 Americans and devastated the economy.

“Tonight, @FLOTUS and I tested positive for COVID-19,” Mr. Trump wrote on Twitter. “We will begin our quarantine and recovery process immediately. We will get through this TOGETHER!” Mr. Trump received the test result after one of his closest advisers, Hope Hicks, became infected, bringing the virus into his inner circle and underscoring the difficulty of containing it even with the resources of a president. Mr. Trump has for months played down the severity of the virus and told a political dinner just Thursday night that “the end of the pandemic is in sight.”

Mr. Trump’s positive test result could pose immediate difficulties for the future of his campaign against former Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr., his Democratic challenger, with just 33 days before the election on Nov. 3. Even if Mr. Trump, 74, remains asymptomatic, he will have to withdraw from the campaign trail and stay isolated in the White House for an unknown period of time. If he becomes sick, it could raise questions about whether he should remain on the ballot at all.

Even if he does not become seriously ill, the positive test could prove devastating to his political fortunes given his months of diminishing the seriousness of the pandemic even as the virus was still ravaging the country and killing about 1,000 more Americans every day. He has repeatedly predicted the virus “is going to disappear,” asserted that it was under control and insisted that the country was “rounding the corner” to the end of the crisis. He has scorned scientists, saying they were mistaken on the severity of the situation.

Mr. Trump has refused for months to wear a mask in public on all but a few occasions and repeatedly questioned their effectiveness while mocking Mr. Biden for wearing one. Trailing in the polls, the president in recent weeks increasingly held crowded campaign events in defiance of public health guidelines and sometimes state and local governments.

When he accepted the nomination on the final day of the Republican National Convention, he invited more than 1,000 supporters to the South Lawn of the White House and has held multiple rallies around the country since, often with hundreds and even thousands of people jammed into tight spaces, many if not most without masks.

A positive test will undercut his effort to change the subject away from a pandemic that polls show most Americans believe he has mishandled and onto political terrain he considers more favorable. Mr. Trump has sought to focus voter attention instead on violence in cities, his Supreme Court nomination, mail-in ballots and Mr. Biden’s relationship with liberals.

Aside from the campaign, the symbolism of an infected president could rattle governors and business owners trying to assess when and how to reopen or keep open shops, schools, parks, beaches, restaurants, factories and other workplaces. Eager to restore a semblance of normal life before the election, Mr. Trump has dismissed health concerns to demand that schools reopen, college football resume play and businesses resume full operation.

In his eighth decade of life, Mr. Trump belongs to the age category deemed most vulnerable to the virus. Eight out of every 10 deaths attributed to it in the United States have been among those 65 and older.

Mr. Trump has been resistant to permitting details of his health to be made public, raising questions about his overall condition. He made an unannounced trip in November to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center that prompted speculation that he had an undisclosed medical ailment, but the White House insisted that he simply underwent routine tests, without revealing what they were or what they showed.

But while Mr. Trump has been reported to have high cholesterol and tips the scale at 243 pounds, which is considered obese for his height, the president’s doctor pronounced Mr. Trump in “very good health” last year after his last full medical checkup. And, unlike many of those who have succumbed to the virus, he will have the best medical care available.

A variety of people around Mr. Trump were previously infected by the virus, including most recently Robert C. O’Brien, his national security adviser who had a mild case before returning to work in August. Others infected include Kimberly Guilfoyle, his son’s girlfriend; a White House valet; Katie Miller, Vice President Mike Pence’s press secretary; as well as some Secret Service agents, campaign advance workers and a Marine in the president’s helicopter unit. Herman Cain, a former Republican presidential candidate and political ally of Mr. Trump’s, died of the coronavirus in July after attending the president’s campaign rally in Tulsa, Okla., where Mr. Cain, like many in the arena, was seen not wearing a mask at least part of the time.

Mr. Trump has repeatedly expressed confidence in public about his own health, saying he was not concerned about being exposed despite his various close calls. “I’m on a stage that’s very far away, and so, I’m not at all concerned,” he said last month, brushing off worries about crowded rallies.

Behind the scenes, though, the self-described germophobe was angry in the spring that his valet, who is among those who serve him food, had not been wearing a mask before testing positive, according to people in touch with him. Mr. Trump privately expressed irritation with people who got too close to him.

According to the president, he began taking the hydroxychloroquine anti-malaria drug proactively around this time and later said it caused no adverse effects. In the days after Ms. Miller’s positive test, Mr. Pence opted to stay physically away from Mr. Trump to avoid a possible exposure, while three top public health officials, including Dr. Anthony S. Fauci, who is on the White House’s coronavirus task force, went into some form of self-quarantine.

The White House ordered some employees to work from home and those who came to work to wear masks except when sitting at their desks an appropriate distance from their colleagues. Just as Mr. Trump and Mr. Pence were being tested every day, those coming into proximity to them were subject to daily tests as well, while other White House employees had tests every several days. But those protocols were soon relaxed and most White House officials were rarely seen wearing masks, at least when the president was present.

While the coronavirus is much deadlier than the flu, the vast majority of people infected by it recover, especially if there is no underlying condition, but the threat climbs with age. If Mr. Trump becomes symptomatic, it could take him weeks to recover.

Under the 25th Amendment, a medically incapacitated president has the option of temporarily transferring power to the vice president and can reclaim his authority whenever he deems himself fit for duty.

Since the amendment was ratified in 1967, presidents have done so only three times. In 1985, President Ronald Reagan underwent a colonoscopy and briefly turned over power to Vice President George Bush, although he did not explicitly cite the amendment in doing so. President George W. Bush did invoke the amendment twice in temporarily turning over power to Vice President Dick Cheney during colonoscopies in 2002 and 2007.

Under the Presidential Succession Act, if both Mr. Trump and Mr. Pence were unable to serve, Speaker Nancy Pelosi of California would step in. In the spring, the White House said that it had no plan for such an eventuality. “That’s not even something that we’re addressing,” said Kayleigh McEnany, the White House press secretary. “We’re keeping the president healthy. We’re keeping the vice president healthy and, you know, they’re healthy at this moment and they’ll continue to be.”

There is a long history of presidents falling seriously ill while in office, including some afflicted during epidemics. George Washington was feared close to death amid an influenza epidemic during his second year, while Woodrow Wilson became sick during Paris peace talks after World War I with what some specialists and historians believe was the influenza that ravaged the world from 1918 through 1920.

Four presidents have died in office of natural causes: William Henry Harrison, Zachary Taylor, Warren G. Harding and Franklin D. Roosevelt, while Wilson endured a debilitating stroke and Dwight D. Eisenhower had a heart attack in his first term and a stroke in his second. Four others were assassinated in office: Abraham Lincoln, James A. Garfield, William McKinley and John F. Kennedy.

But such health crises in the White House have been rarer in recent times. Since Reagan was shot in 1981, no president has been known to confront a life-threatening condition while in office.

South park? As american as it seems, it doesn't seem very south at all. Argentina is south. Lesotho is south. South park is rather north.

Well, its all relative isn't it?  There an island in Alaska called South American Island to distinguish it as the more Southern of two islands not belonging to Russian trappers.

Similarly, South Park got its name from French Trappers who hunted the American West for centuries before English speakers got here.  The Platte River is one of the great long rivers than travel across the high plains between the Rocky Mountains and the Mississippi River.  In Western Nebraska, the river splits into great forks.  The northern branch goes winds north around the Medicine Bow mountain range in southern Wyoming and begins in a place called North Park, Colorado- a beautiful place I know pretty well.

A park in this context is wide mountain valley with slow drainage which makes the valley floor very flat and fertile.

The South Fork of the Platte winds through Northern Colorado.  My hometown, Denver CO, was built where the South Platte comes out of the mountains and is fed by a large number of fast moving mountain creeks.  The river begins in a place 50 miles southwest of Denver called South Park- the South is relative to French trappers.  50 miles south of South Park is a town called Del Norte mean ing"The North" , called so by Spanish Conquistadors because that was the northernmost point of their explorations out of Mexico City.

I am clueless about what pre-game actions might portend.

I assumed it meant the game started in the night phase, but nobody said they were asked to submit a night action. There also doesn't seem to be a NK indicating Luna might be right - there may have been some sort of recruitment or some other TP win con implemented/started.
good point.  No town has reported any actions so it was likely some scum/TP benefit.  enough time that skitz's claim might even be some gambit, bait or landmine.  perhaps not a great lynch for DP1 but it doesn't feel like a better candidate will be forthcoming.

The question is, why would he claim day 1 as scum?

Well, he's claimed day 1 scum or town in all recent games, right?  - maybe somebody else can research the numbers.  Failure to claim anything right off the bat would seems suspicious now.  GP always claims DP1 and when he fails to claim he's usually sus'd for it.  (if I remember right, the last time he failed to claim DP1 he was in fact scum).  Even if skitz's instinct as scum was to remain quiet, he may have gotten pressure from scum mates to claim RB early and hope for cred.

If skitz had not claimed anything by this point, he might have been read as even more scummy than fake claiming.

Why do you consider skittlez as a false claim?
is there some other interpretation?

wassup yall im VPNs an i protect yo privacy by securely connecting you to the VPN provider, who then interfaces with a internet or the internet for u. im also pretty used in corporate environments so employees can access the company network safetly. im a rb i win with town.
Unprompted, PRO claims a leans-scum ROLE and offers 4 sentences we are meant to interpret as a paraphrase of his PM.  The fourth sentence clearly claims a wincon is an ordinary format we've seen as recently as last game.  70% of the remaining town reports no wincon in their PM and the remaining 30% has failed to report.

oops mb it doesnt say that

ive been in so many games with the wincon i didnt even notice lol
but skitz isn't looking at old PM's, he's apparently looking at the PM Bullish gave him and apparently decided to manufacture a wincon when he noticed he had none, assuming that like most games, TOWN would have some standard wincon.  This is a fairly classic scum slip and (combined with role claim) the odds that skitz is SCUM is much higher than we usually get in DP1.  The argument for keeping him alive is that uncareful, inattentive scum can be tricked into revealing more about their partners.

As for theme split. I have a few ideas...

1. could be Manufacturer vs Everybody. Like Apple v. World or Microsoft v. World.

2. Could be a certain type of tech. Like computers vs. phones. Or tablets vs. everyone.

3. It could have to do with OS. Like macOS or Windows, maybe even Linux.

We can analyze as people claim... I have a feeling it's something like the options above, though.
My character claim is more conceptual- a field of research in computing.  No specific OS, software, device or brand is specified.

You need to stop outing your role to everyone. It's a shitty habit to do and it's cause for a scum read because scum believing claiming early gives them town cred. I've been sus of you since you started doing it, and every time you flipped town. Stop doing this shitty early claim thing because it does nothing to help town
ill stand by my decision to claim early last game but the other times were pretty unnecessary an i should stop before it gets worse

I don’t have a win con, and I would normally be sus about it, but how would you claim it as town if you didn’t have a wincon?
by lying.  Skitz has certainly seen enough 'you win with the town' to fake it and claiming town roleblocker is a reasonable & effective claim for a scum roleblocker.

I do not have a wincon at all.  Clearly, skitz has a wincon.  That's interesting.   Does everybody else have a wincon?  are the wincons all like skittles?

MafiaWiki

:  The role is very commonly seen as part of the Mafia, but can also be useful for the Town.

Generally, Roleblockers are intended to try to stop the Night-kill, or stop scum power roles in situations where they are known. In practice, Roleblockers are more likely to stop Town power roles from working early on, but as the game goes on Roleblockers become much more powerful. In particular, when there is one Mafioso left Roleblockers can be used to confirm players - if the Mafia's kill goes through, whoever was blocked that Night isn't the last Mafioso. Inversely, if a Roleblocker blocks someone and the Mafia's kill disappears, there is a decent chance that the Roleblocker blocked the scum who was performing the kill (though this is not necessarily the case, given that other power roles may have had a hand in it, or the scum decided to not kill anyone as a framing gambit). In summary, Town Roleblockers are almost liabilities early on but become much stronger if they survive to lategame, so they have net positive value for Town.
