Israel dealing arms to China; most of the arms are dual use technologies and much of 🇮🇱 economy depends on China which makes them have to do a balancing act with economic security and physical security threatened because of 🇨🇳 close relationship with Iran.
Palestinian persecution; most of the persecution is from hamas and other groups of extremists and from the minority of extreme right wing Israelis. Though nobody gets off scott free here.
Here I what I didn't need to learn. Slaughtering civilians and using them as human shields is unacceptable. Raping women as a method of wad not as an unfortunate byproduct is evil. Chopping the heads off of babies for fun is evil.
Here is something else I learned. The best way to support Palestinians is by supporting Israel's goals of destroying hamas.

There is a lot of moral clarity here, and my criticisms of Israel was not about me taking the side of hamas but of Palestinians.
I don't think changing your mind is a negative trait, but my mind hasn't changed much. I know more about what is happening since when I made my other posts on this most recent situation. I also regretfully am seeing my stupid beliefs (the stances I take is more accurate) reflected back to me on several occasions and it hurts. Because I had no ideal people could be this stupid. It's even sadder that the majority of this site is too stupid to have a good defense of Israel.
Hamas attack on Israel didn't even focus on military targets, though some were hit. It isn't hard to find videos showing how civilians were treated. You have the leads of hamas coming out and claiming no civilians were taken hostage, meanwhile they also have shown footage of themselves taking people from old folks homes across the border. Again the footage is widely available, and not even denied when they speak internally.
What happened to Israel is cartoonishly evil, and unfortunately because hamas does hide behind civilian targets, a lot of innocent civilians will get killed. It isn't the fault of Israel. You can't just surrender or refuse to fight because your opponent is being evil.
As far as the criticisms of America beating the war drums, what do you think happens to the United States if Israel is gone?
The US has the 2nd largest population of jews in the world. With a defeated Israel, Americans are next.
Hamas is also not fighting for Palestinians . This attack on Israel is going to end up in a lot of civilian deaths of their own people. They don't care. They take aid meant for their people and don't build hospitals or schools, but build weapons and underground tunnel systems for guerrilla warfare.

Dumb people are actually less likely to use mental heuristics. Meaning there mistakes and ignorance is not as bad as the mistakes or ignorance of smart people. Idiots are also less likely to have as many cognitive biases as geniuses.
The problem with smart people is that they can come up with great reasoning for any position and it's not something likely to get disproven. Einstein was a genius. If he believed the earth was flat he would absolutely crush most smart people's logic and show superior reasoning.

It's a type of ad hominid used to evade argument. However given the circular reasoning of these types of argument, it may be easier to just respond it's childish than to go through all of that.
It's impossible to beat circular arguments typically because they are entirely self enclosed and rest on logic, flawed logic typically that has an answer for everything. For a common example look at the fat positivity movement. They have convinced themselves with circular logic that being health conscious is racist and that people who are 700 pounds are no more likely to face health struggles than people of a normal body weight.
If you examine your own logic for why you believe what you do, I think you'll find it al.ost unassailable, which is why it makes critical thinking to expose that flaw in logic, very difficult.
