What abortion basically comes down to.
-->
@YouFound_Lxam
Typically, people do not abort infants.

And abortions tend to result from sexual pleasure, rather than sexual pleasure resulting from abortion.

You see, it all boils down to words and how extravagantly one chooses to use them.

I would suggest that typically abortion is no more than the removal of an undeveloped blob of human organic tissue.

And typically also, an infant is a child between the ages of four and eight.

Well, you just proposed an interpretation of what might or might not constitute a discussion.

Exchange of dialogue, will do for me.

As I see it:

Basically we both accept a notion of Universal purpose.

Though your notion comes loaded with unnecessary speculation.

Picked up along the way as you thrashed about in the spiritual undergrowth looking for something that was never really there.

And although you think you found something, you have no way of showing me what it is.

Because there is nothing to see.

Yep, the Bible has become a significant compilation of recounted tales concerning the lives of a collection of prominent characters from Middle Eastern History.

Now. It's patently apparent that said tales are embellished with mysticism and fantasy, which to be fair is no more than one would expect.

And for sure, there is also undoubtedly a level of factuality that forms the basis of the tales.

Hence we end up with what can be correctly defined as a Mythology.

Where to start?

So the dusty Black Book on the back of the book shelf, is an object.

And therefore everything.

From this I am able to conclude that,

The Moon is an object,

And therefore cheese, Grommit.

The Bible is an objective book.

There you go again Trade.

I've already stated how yes, an object in itself is objective.

But as a doctrine, it is pretty useless without it's subjective content.

So is the Bible a proven theory Trade?

Me thinks not.

The Bible is a wholly subjective collection of subjective versions of 2000+ years old continuously subjective retelling's of exaggerated subjective hand me down folk tales. All relative to a few particular people who resided in one small corner of the Middle East.

Weeties not my favourite Trade.

Porridge is the stuff.

And perhaps we don't read the same dictionary, or perhaps we read the same dictionary but not in the same way.

A hypothesis in it's narrative form is objective, in so much as it is a demonstrable documentation of said hypothesis, but this in no way objectively substantiates the hypothetical content of the narrative.

In fact, hypothetical and subjective could be said to be synonymous.

You see, BK.

The body is genetically pre-programmed,

Something that you have no control over.

If you like, something that GOD did for you.

And so GOD programmed you with the constant innate desire to procreate.

Unfortunately though, GOD never really provided the circumstances whereby procreation on demand was readily available.

So we therefore were also presented with the circumstances by GOD, whereby we had balls full of jiz and a head full of sex  and nothing to inseminate.

So where to go GOD?

Instruction manual not really helpful.

And of course, the females of the species are different, but also infused with the same innate instruction to procreate.

You never really mention or worry unduly about Lesbian sex though. (Perhaps a bit of a turn on)

As for diseases'

Well, GOD provided for them too.

And every aspect of our lives, leaves us vulnerable to unwanted attention from pesky pathogens.

But just as we learned how to cope with the stresses of pesky penis urges, we also learned how to cope with the possible problems presented by pesky pathogens.

Thanks be to GOD for giving us the ability and opportunity to work things out for ourselves.

When you say "Mix" what do you mean?

Do you imagine that gay sex, is all about 20 blindfolded gay men being ushered into a room and then swirled about.

And when the blindfolds are removed the young 20 year olds are compelled to fellate the nearest 60 year old.

Do you think that gay sex does not involve mutual consent, people of other ages and varying modus operandi.

Where do you get your information from?

Maybe some people actually enjoy gay sex....Have you ever considered that?

Chapter 2.

Well, my frame of reference back in the early 60's was my home village of less than 100 people. I had very little access to T.V. or radio.

Mid 60's onwards I went to school in a neighbouring village  and so during school hours my frame of reference broadened slightly, but away from school I always returned to the insularity of my home patch.

Yes my issue probably is that the world is now too fast paced for me, but as I was realistic enough to suggest earlier, I'm  happy to concede that I am the one whose pace doesn't match the requirements of modern society. Nonetheless, one can still find a lifestyle reminiscent of the past, though the demands of modernity are still ever present

As for Empire.
The lives of both my parents were overshadowed by WW2. And so their thoughts and ideas and consequently mine, were not fashioned by Empire. In fact I think that Empire was already a weakening influence in the wider British society by then. My Dad witnessed some pretty atrocious stuff in Germany at the end of the War, which deeply affected him and further diminished his respect of old style Britishness, especially the hypocrisy of Monarchy. Which If you think about it, the problems that  beset Europe for over 100 years and probably still do today, can all be traced back to the machinations of one family.
And to give credit to you guys, two World Wars had shown the British public that British security no longer lay in Empire, but in the U.S.A.

In fact my Dad always used to say that we were now the 51st State.

We have know way of directly knowing what external reality is.

All we have is an internal simulation derived from incoming sensory signals.

Interpretation, conclusions and ongoing decisions may vary.

Normality is a collective set of decisions that can only be taught, so normality and therefore expectations can easily vary too.

So put in context, if we (children) are now taught by a large enough collective that transgenderism is normal, then the concept of transgenderism  will become an established programme.

And then factor into that the base programme of procreation and sexual development and all the ridiculous added baggage that human society attaches to sexual development and procreation.

It's no wonder is it.

Quite frankly, if society didn't pander to the acquired whims of minority sub groups.

But hey, society goes crazy for the stuff.

After all, what's less mundane than Mum and Dad and 2.4 kids.....Mum and Dad's inner fantasies, that's what.

It's a bit like asking which is the most exciting....Peace in The Ukraine, or a Russian helicopter being downed by a hand launched S.A.M.

My old folk were also devout atheists.

Though they always had fish every Friday.

Sort of a subliminal nod to the past I suppose.

Dad would have herring or sprats, whatever was cheapest.

Sister and me would always have fish fingers.

And I can't remember what mum had.

Probably a piece of stale bread dipped in my Dads fish fat. (Times was hard)

Sister was always ill on Friday evenings.

Took them years to work out that she was allergic to white fish.

Though to be fair, allergies hadn't really caught on back in the day.

Life must have been hell for all those gluten and lactose intolerant people.

Hopefully most kids respect their parents efforts.

I think that the big difference between me back then and children of today, is the fact that we were never emburdened with the expectations provided by instant access to a global society.

So here's a question for you:

Is technology actually beneficial to the human species, or is it that humans are only empowering technological evolution?

LGBT is just utilising modern media to highlight and normalise taboo sexuality.

Which might or might not be working.

We still seem as hung up on penises and vaginas and what we should or shouldn't do with them, as we ever were. Which is probably a problem created by pious old religious men rather than by sexual deviants.

Lower reproductivity is the associated issue, and I would suggest is less to do with sexual taboo and more to do with social media inspired expectation.

Maybe, it's just how things are meant to progress. Subtle human decline and the human inspired rise of A.I.

Onwards into the future and into the Cosmos.

And we can stop here and bicker and fight about trivia, such as culture and nationhood and what to do with penises and vaginas.

Well.

How do you define objectivity?

As I see it, Christian doctrine is wholly subjective.

Ok, so I'm an atheist, but my observation is based upon my understanding of definition relative to the subject matter.

Any doctrine is made up, and so therefore subjective.

Chapter 1.

Well, I expect that if you ask any American born in 1960's rural USA, how life and society has changed, they would say the same as me.

Life was simple, straightforward not blighted by an over expectation to achieve stuff that doesn't really need achieving.

Can you imagine a life with no computers and no hand held devices?

No telephone in fact, save for the one down the road in the telephone box. Communication with people beyond ones local community was by mail.

Very few private cars. Neither of my parents ever learned to drive.

If you needed to get to the local town for shopping etc. You went on the bus which ran twice a week on Wednesdays and Saturdays. But that was it, you went out of necessity rather than any desire to do so.

To be fair, what seemed idyllic to me, was probably tough for my parents. But I'm grateful to them for affording me those few years of childhood contentment, which will always be the happiest years of my life.
