Bible Study - God of the Bible eradicates nations that commit sins
-->
@Best.Korea
In the time of Jesus of the bible tales, world population was 300 million approx.

It is now 8 billion approx.

So GODDO's eradication rate is seemingly quite low.

And with a combined total of 2.8billion approx, the two largest non-Christian countries appear to be somehow avoiding GODDOS wrath quite successfully, thank you.

Religion is only for the highest and most evolved animals.
-->
@Tradesecret
One does not need to subscribe to a religion to be able to understand the naive hypothesis behind it.

I would also suggest that atheism is actually a more progressive concept than theism.

The rejection of archaic naivety in favour of logical realism.

1. The theist accepts that it was a magical floaty about Middle Eastern bloke what did it.

2. The atheist assesses the theistic concept and realises how stupid an idea it is.

As ever:

GOD concept valid.

Floaty about Arabian type, not so.

Test. What makes a man?
-->
@YouFound_Lxam
The other half of the human binary system.

So a high sperm count coupled with the strength to dominate his rivals and subjugate his harem, is the true mark of a man.

Of course, we've thought up loads of other BS since then. Like religion for example.

If you hadn't noticed, we are now in the techno-age.

Wherein the Earth has a singular global community.

You have to move quickly to keep up these days, or loose touch.

And so, old people go to war to fight old peoples wars.

@sadolite
For sure.

But the Earth is either a flat disc or a spheroid.

At least with the spheroid one doesn't have to worry about the edge or underneath.

Though the thickness of the flat Earth would need to be reasonably substantial. whereby it should perhaps be more accurately described as a cylinder.

Which leads me to conclude that structural integrity is reliant upon a spherical format.

Indigo is a dye extracted from plants of the genus Indigofera

Indigofera tinctura or Indigofera suffruiticosa for example.

Of course, I knew that and didn't need to refer to Wiki.

The thing about historical information is that we have no way of actually knowing if it represents fact or fiction.

Separatism creates conflict.

So inevitably, communes would coalesce into larger groups.

And so on, until we end up with what we have now.

Which is what happened.

So not much point in starting again.

Especially now that humanity is linked by technology.

Internal electro-chemical data analysing systems, variously interpret incoming sensory signals.

And make up and output all sorts of sh*t.

Some of that sh*t is referred to as religion.

And other stuff is sometimes referred to as the Grammy Awards.

All perhaps comes under the umbrella of social ideology.

Like saying the umbrella of social ideology, for example.

What I'm "meaning" is.

What would be the point of saying that the Earth is spherical, if it was actually flat.

It's would be a pointless conspiracy theory for the sake of it.

The same as saying that the Earth is flat when it is actually spherical.

@Reece101

Belief:   An acceptance that something exists or is true, especially one without proof.

So an accurate definition per se.

But a definition that presents the interpreter with more that one option.

So not necessarily definitive as a solution to an uncertain question.

Therefore belief by definition has inbuilt uncertainty.

Faith, Belief and Truth.

What was I saying about non-specific words.

. Faith implies ignorant devotion to something that cannot be known..

. Belief implies acceptance in the absence of knowledge, therefore uncertainty.

. Truth implies honesty, even though honesty does not necessarily imply accuracy.

We could probably do this all day long.

. Probability implies uncertain certainty or certain uncertainty etc etc.

For sure. belief is a non-specific word.

But I would still suggest, that to believe in something you know for certain is a tad unnecessary.

Therefore, belief actually implies uncertainty.

Presumably the building blocks of life would have been present at the point of material generation/creation. Howsoever that may have occurred.

GOD principle.

But not necessarily a floaty about bloke.

Or a BIG BOOM for that matter.

As it would require an audio-receptor to register a BOOM.

So the QUIET UNSEEN EVENT then.

Size irrelevant, as there would be no comparison, nor a comparer.

OK, so if you're going to be picky, there might have a multiverse event, and some events might have been more extensive than others.

Well.

Within the context of acquired and stored data 1 + 1 = 2 is an unvarying and known fact.

So why would you need to believe that 1 + 1 = 2

Ok, so you might suggest that there will undoubtedly be the uneducated few who are not furnished with such knowledge, but they could not believe in something that they do not know.

As for GODs and their associated tales. Some people become conditioned  to accept such established propositions as accurate, even though there is no definitive proof available. We refer to this as belief or an uncertain belief that is based upon known but nonfactual data.

It's a bit like waiting at the bus stop for the bus that will hopefully arrive.

More chance of a bus turning up though. Because know for a fact that buses do exist.

And cellular organic structures have to possess a certain something in order to grow, don't they.

So what is cultured meat grown from?

Animal stem cells if my research is correct.

So certainly not compliant with vegan ideology.
