Racism is because perceivable difference is.
It's the nature of variety,
And therefore not a problem,
But a fact of life.
Intolerance is the stumbling block.
Doesn't matter what the difference is.

Chastise them for their foolishness.
Or yes, probably best to walk away and ignore.
For me atheism is simply that.
No fixed fantasy beliefs and therefore no associated ritualism and paraphernalia.
Whereas theism generally comes with loads of stupid baggage.
Best just to be inquisitive about what we don't know.
Rather than making up stupid fanciful explanations.

Gay is a socio-psychologically derived phenomena, relative to the enjoyment of certain recreational sex behaviour.
Any one can do it, but some would rather not.
Though it doesn't matter how one satisfies one's reproductive sexual urges, the outcome is always the same.
Or should I say out-cum.
Tissues at the ready.
Or lick and swallow.
And then wash it down with a coffee and a biscuit.
And relax.
Until the next time.
What ever floats one's boat in a liberal society.

True
Creative event followed by a lengthy process of material evolution.
Sort of designed, in so much as, how things happen is how things will happen.
Creative event may require an initiator.
But the initiator is extremely unlikely to have been the Dad of a Middle Eastern Bloke.
Or any other similar archaic metaphor, for that matter.

I imagine that over the next few millennia the species will become less white and less black.
Though skin tone will depend upon the dominance of specific genes.
Just as other genetic influences will dictate how we move forwards intellectually.
If material evolution is to progress, and I assume that it will, then intellectual dominance will continue to be the overriding necessity.
So eventually if and when homo-sapiens manages to escape this Earthly prison.
I'm guessing it might have a swarthy look about it, probably with Asian influences.
Not like the USS Enterprise, with a macho "White" guy at the helm and Scotty in the engine room.
Though Bones certainly had a look about him.
In between now and then?
All sorts of shit I would imagine.

Thanks for taking the time.
I know versions of both verses, they were two mainstay pieces of my formative C of E education.
And like a lot of biblical stuff, one can see both logic and hypothetical necessity in both.
I personally don't admire devout people, though I'm certainly tolerant of their behaviour.
After all, they have been conditioned to be devout, just as I have been conditioned otherwise.
I think the big difference is that devout people have been conditioned with a tendency to be less tolerant of atheism.
As ever, everything boils down to the acquisition, storage and utilisation of stored data.
Which for sure, is an amazing organic process and function.
All those electro-chemical signals zipping about inside our brains doing remembering and thinking stuff, as well as keeping the mainframe going.
Yep, we're amazing bits of kit for sure.

We're all just eking out the time between birth and death.
Doing stuff.
And everything that we do might be completely futile.
And there again, it might not.
So, best keep doing it just to be on the safe side.

To be honest, I neither like nor dislike Bibles.
They're generally just inert books on a shelf somewhere.

Trouble is, we have this overriding system of social control known as money.
And society has to be controlled because people are fundamentally selfish individuals, that tend to cluster into selfish groups.
We're not bees that will work for the greater good of the greater society.
So we have the resources and intellectual ability, but lack the collective will.
The downside of intellect I suppose.

Do you think that people just turned up on the West African coast, so that Whitey could ship them abroad?
And anyway people aren't interested in apologies, it's just cash and power that they're really after.

Life is an electro-chemical reaction evolved from fundamental universal properties.
The bigger question is why the existence of fundamental universal properties.
A. Something from nothing.
B. Always something.
Neither seems feasible.
And both improbabilities would apply to a God.
So, by asking how did life come about, you're starting in the middle of a process, moving forwards and taking the back story for granted.
Probably just basing the back story on a 2000 year old pseudo-hypothetical folk tale.

Yep, nothing to scratch.
Has meds for it when it gets unbearable.
And yep, computer and brain have a lot in common.
Brain is a computer I suppose, with attachments
Albeit an organic computer, with organic attachments.
How long before we add inorganic attachments to the organic computer?
Maybe we already have peripheral attachments/devices that influence us more than we realise.
So how long before theses become installed into the mainframe?
Not long me thinks.
Off to bed.
Night Night sleep tight.
Don't have nightmares.

There's a 53rd called a wassamagoolie.
It has 10 penises and 17 vaginas,
And a clitoris up it's arse.
And a fourth reproductive organ that makes no sense whatsoever.
It's name is Daphne and it typically lacks pronouns.
It is also highly intelligent,
Covering it's head and neck with tattoos.
And influencing gullible people on social media.
If seen, approach with caution,
As it has a tendency to multiple orgasm.
Now, wouldn't that be a sticky end.

We sense, light waves, sound waves, smells etc.
And we make an internal electro-chemical assessment,
Which we project or simulate internally as imagery.
Therefore we only assume that what we see is what we see/ hear/ smell etc.
Though our ability to manipulate does give weight to our assumptions.
But even then we are completely reliant upon internal imagery.
So if you read this post, you will not actually be viewing it on a computer screen, but as an internally projected/simulated image of a computer screen.

Well, notwithstanding the dubiousness of biblical stuff anyway.
A. They could have been playing dead as part of the Roadshow.
B. They weren't actually dead.
C. They were just having a right laugh.
Is this helpful Stephen?

If you consider the processes involved.
Then everything is an internal projection or simulation of an assumed reality.

If Bible exists, then God exists.
If Lord of the rings exists, then Middle Earth exists.
So choose your favourite work of fiction and make it come to life.
And I had a bible once, but I burned it, so I destroyed God.

God is a magical floaty about, thought bloke.
GOD might the answer to everything.
Which is not to say that GOD didn't once float about, and will not float about again.
So God might be a metaphor for GOD.
Or not, as the case maybe.
An internal Zed projection.

Do you know what semantics is? If not look it up.
Then apply semantics to relevant words, like happiness and contentment, and see if you can work out just what happiness is.
Positive chemistry refers to body chemistry and particularly brain chemistry, that might have a positive effect upon our wellbeing.
Basically everything we do and achieve relies upon our brain and therefore brain processes.
So happiness etc. is nothing more that brain function, electro-chemical processes.
Horses for courses is a an old adage, that in this instance I use to suggest that positive brain function might be variable relative to the individual and their formative conditioning.
Formative condition basically means the information that we acquire in our early years.
Such information has a tendency to always influence how we behave and make decisions throughout the rest of our lives.
So perhaps we are taught to be either introverts or extroverts, and therefore positivity is relative in both cases.
