How big do you think the audience is.

I haven't checked lately, but the average used to be about 2.5.

Semantics.

What is happiness?

Are we talking positive chemistry here?

Or just assumptions.

I would suggest that it is better to achieve contentment, rather than constantly striving to be happy.

Horses for courses though, generally dictated by formative conditioning.

Why did the debater cross the road.

For the same reason as the chicken.

So which came first?

The debater or the egg.

Not forgetting the spermatozoa of course.

1 unit + 1 unit = 6 therefore 1 = 3.

1 unit + 1 unit = 4 therefore 1 = 2

Therefore 1 + 1 = 5

All that is required is a thought/electro-chemical data processing.

I would suggest that concepts are no more or less this process,  and by their very nature are variable, modifiable and always subjective.

I would further suggest that we also possess pre-programmed data/instinct, wherein lies our desire to survive.

Knowing the difference between eating for the sake of it and eating out of necessity is the key.

People without a ready access to food will feel hunger.

More affluent people just regard it as dinner time or a snack.

Snacking on burgers for the sake of it, not particularly good.

Incorrect.

Some people might have shorter lives if they "enjoy" themselves too much.

Choice will have very little to do with it.

Though, there's enjoyment and then there's alternative enjoyment.

And then there's also lazy and stupid, and active and sensible.

You choose.

And morality, ethics, right and wrong are all a part of our conceptual fantasy world.

Real enough, though not real at all.

You choose.

Though conditioning may already have limited your ability to choose.

Which isn't necessarily a wrong thing,

But also, not necessarily a right thing.

Well, there is usually someone somewhere willing to do anything for money.

Nonetheless, in a unified society (yep I know) trans would not have become a socio-psychological and therefore evolutionary trend.

Negative conditioning, would have negated the spread of trans data.

But once you plant seeds in the human mind then things will slowly and inevitably change, it's the nature of the human beast.

Socio-psychological evolution.

To deny is to bury ones head in the sand.

Sexual fantasy is internal physiology,

Cosmological Scenarios
-->
@ebuc
I don't need to figure out what's missing.

Because realistically everything is missing, from beginning to end.

Hence cosmological scenarios.

To that end, I offered three very basic scenarios.

And you proffer a less basic scenario, but a nonetheless hypothetical scenario.

Which may or may not be more or less relative in one of my basic scenarios.

And words are words, and serve a purpose.

Like to "spin" is to go out for a leisurely drive in ones car.

So are you saying that all matter goes for a leisurely drive.

Of course not.

Just as I make no references to football players.

Castles seem fun.

Once you've seen one castle you've seen them all.

I'm not particularly sentimental about history and piles of stone.

But I wouldn't want to spoil it for those that are.

I do get a certain something from remoteness and solitude.

Though I am fully aware that this all boils down to body chemistry.

Yep.

Time nor space need to start.

All that is required is the existence of something, to provide event and duration.

Could be matter, Mr GODDO or a cheeseburger.

All basically the same.

So Mr GODDO is a cheeseburger.

But can you tell me from where it came.

An eternally existent cheeseburger GOD is as profound a concept as nothing at all is.

And marriage is a load of tosh really, though we have made a sociological mountain out of procreation for quite a while.

And slippery slopes are more or less slippery relative to both, slopiness and slipperiness.

Cosmological Scenarios
-->
@ebuc
Cosmological infers cosmological and scenario infers a scenario.

Other than that we can only make predictions based upon what we know as of December 2022.

Though if the Universe were to end tomorrow I don't suppose anyone would will have made such an inference yesterday.

I have basic thoughts/ideas, which look at three possibilities pertaining to cosmological outcomes.

1. The automatic regeneration and reactivation of matter.

2. The inspired (GOD principle) regeneration and reactivation of matter. So, GOD principle not necessarily creative, but regenerative.

3. Or a final universal collapse where matter is reduced to an inert state.

That's three very basic cosmological scenarios that most people should be able to grasp.

But what about a primary cosmological scenario?

Debussy appreciable.

Bouncy about man not so.

Human thinks and comes up with the idea of creating a bouncy stage and bouncing around upon said bouncy stage, whilst Claude Debussy's musical composition

is simultaneously being converted into an appreciable noise.

Cosmological Scenarios
-->
@ebuc
Concepts all.

Nonetheless, eternally regenerative universe is a scenario that I have been proposing for a long while.

Though I always question whether the system or sequence, is reliant on something more than just universal decline, material re-initiation and material evolution.

Something more, or GOD principle as I refer to it.

But not actually a floaty about magical bloke.

Which is not to say that floaty about magical bloke couldn't be a metaphor for GOD principle.

My bafflement is with the functionality of living organisms. and their interaction with an assumed environment.

We sense and we assume an accurate interpretation of what might be outside. (Simulation)

Which given our ability to interact with the outside world is a reasonable assumption.

And as you say, most will never question their temporary interaction with the universe.

Cosmological Scenarios

@ebuc
At least we transfered data.

Which we analysed and responded to.

#2 was a direct repose to the subject of cosmological scenarios.

And we developed corresponding data from there-on.

And I would suggest that experiencing and living in someone else's mind, is a wholly self induced internal experience, that in other circumstances might be regarded as spiritual.

I find the whole concept of existence and reality quite baffling.

The cosmos that we experience is actually an internal simulation, derived and converted from external light sources.

False Ebuc.

Think about it.

When you listen to others, you re-interpret sound waves via you auditory receptors.

Or if you read someone's writings, you convert light waves via you optical receptors.

Therefore everything that you experience has to be re-created within yourself.

And so, every reaction to a sensory experience is also created within yourself.

Optimal Definition of Personhood?
-->
@Barney
As I stated it's all relative to humans and human language and vocabulary.

So make up a word and convert it to sound waves or a visible narrative.

How about henkilo.

Extra terrestrials might whistle or gurgle.

Interestingly though, the word comes from the Latin for an actors mask. So you might be on to something.

Optimal Definition of Personhood?
-->
@Barney
A person is an individual human.

Though the diversity of language and vocabulary and the potential for varying definition and interpretation means that we can argue the toss over personhood at length.

Nonetheless, most of what you cite refers to the function and processes of a person's onboard computer.

Which for sure, is one big difference between a living person and a dead person.

Though you might argue that a dead person is not a person but a defunct blob of organic goo.

Such is the potential of language and vocabulary.

@TWS1405
This topic is human driven, by two sets of opposing data.

Neither set is right and neither set is wrong.

And unless we can get a GOD to put in an appearance we will never know.

Though I suspect that a GOD would probably say whatever and be far more concerned about the mess we've made of his lovely creation.

Depends upon the complexity of the joining and the viability of the twin.

Biologists make up a tiny percentage of the population and are free to say whatever they wish.

I personally refer to zygotes as zygotes and to human beings as human beings.

The difference being the developmental state of the mass and the independence of the mass.

Zygotes could also be referred to as a developing mass with the potential to become a human being.
