Economy Without Money - Communism in 5 steps
-->
@rbelivb
Don't be fooled into thinking that true communism has ever functioned.

Over the years many authoritarian regimes have been wrongly labelled as communist.

Do you think that throughout the years of bread queues in the "Communist" East, that the social elite ever had to queue for bread?

@Best.Korea
But it doesn't take 5 minutes to launch a missile.

Who's got the quickest missiles is largely irrelevant.

Unless you can guarantee to shoot down every incoming missile.

Once they're on their way that's it,

You're fucked.

MAD.

And do you think that Big Brother isn't watching Lil Kim's every move.

And do you think that Uncle Xi isn't watching him too.

Your response seemed a tad naive, but perhaps that's just indicative of our age difference.

What I mean is:

Society taking the responsibility of population management and production out of the hands of Mum and Dad.

Disenfranchising a person or persons rights to natural selection.

To engineer the egg and the sperm outside of the womb, in order to weed out worthless chaff.

_________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

If material evolution has a purpose, then that purpose is likely to be greater than us.

Previously the masses would have been necessary, to guarantee the creation of the intellectual few, and so further evolutionary progress.

But if we learn how to engineer the few, the masses will become redundant.

And how better instigate a programme of disenfranchised people, than getting them to do it themselves?

Encouraging the rise of the career woman, thereby reducing fecundity.

Advocating and promoting the "normality" of same sex relationships.

Instilling in the immature the notion of gender dysphoria.

Etc.

Should Feminism be falsifiable in our discourses?

@foreigne48
Just look up feminism and its definition is quite specific.

The advocacy of women's rights on the basis of equality of the sexes.

Of course, any clever clogs or not so clever clogs can expand upon a basic tenet.

Especially if the sole purpose of the exercise is to generate a contentious discussion.

To be fair.

I doubt that Kim is foolish enough to think that DPRK could win and survive a global nuclear conflict.

I suppose what we should worry about is if his paranoia were to ever get the better of him.

Paranoia is the downside of isolationism.

Because British society is such that Parliamentary Politicians are merely the puppets and administrators of a Monarchic system.

The Monarchic system being an unelected and little changing aristocratically led establishment.

That's not to say that in terms of social stability the system does not function in the best interests of the populace.

Therefore, as I see it voting serves very little overall purpose other than to distract people's attention every now and then.

If one finds one's social niche and is content with it, then a different group of Parliamentary wannabees aren't going to make a great deal of difference.

Pre-natal developmental anomalies occur for sure.

And modern post-natal social expectations and consequent psychological development are such that as a species we are starting to move away from the necessities of base instinct.

Maybe media technology plays a big part in the spread of alternative information.

Though I'm not sure that the alternatives are particularly pragmatic.

Maybe it's the start of a predetermined evolutionary move towards a selectively engineered society.

Of course, that's based on the inference that material evolution has an objective.

What do you think?

It doesn't matter what you are, or what you think you are, or what you might possibly be able to be because society now says that you can be.

It's all about an intense few seconds of carnal gratification.

And then roll over and go to sleep.

Or perhaps make a nice sandwich and watch T.V.

Until the next time you dream of being fucked senseless.

Or fucking someone senseless.

Unfortunately, the overbearing urge to reproduce can last for many years.

For sure, the bolder we get, the greater the outcome of the mistake, and the more difficult it will be to rectify.

And everyone not singing from the same hymn book is maybe a curse, or perhaps a blessing in disguise.

Though the more technical the mistakes become, the smaller the problem-solving group becomes also.

And those with the know-how all sing from the science hymn book.

Why Do People Think Their Are More Than Two Genders?
-->
@YouFound_Lxam
Well, that's not what they really think.

Well, it is in terms of data processing and output.

Electro-chemical signalling and conversion to some form of narrative, as it were.

Though said narrative is just a contrived justification response, that accompanies a socio-psychologically inspired response to a developed appreciation of diverse recreational sex behaviour and desires.

So, Mummy was an egg, and Daddy was a sperm, and I will cut my dick off and call myself Daphne.

Simple.

Hey Deb.

Belief is worthless.

You can believe in anything.

Doesn't mean you actually have to believe

Just say or write, I believe.

It's just internal data, which you output as either sound waves or visually appreciable imagery.

A bit like shouting Booo, or writing Booo.

I believe in a GOD thing.

Easy Peasy.

Even though I don't really.

Either actually or metaphorically.

And then there's calculated guesswork.

And also, coincidence.

Nonetheless I regard the bible as a mythicised account rather than pure fiction.

Why is the question.

And there may or may not be a reason why.

Or a reason for anything.

And of course, people have done the stuff that they have done and will continue to do the stuff that they will do, because they are not mentally retarded.

Everything we do, either serves a purpose or it doesn't, though rectifying mistakes is a part of the process anyway.

Learning curve.

If only we could know about mistakes before they occurred.

Mistakes lead to solutions lead to progress.

Is progress necessary?

What if we knew it wasn't?

It's what happens when you have 8 billion blobs of sentient organic goo kicking about the place.

All driven by innate necessity in relation to their sentient abilities.

Or perhaps, driven by their sentient abilities in relation to innate necessity.

I'm not sure which it is these days.

Anyway, is it all crazy and pointless or what?

Some will say that there is a massive point, and therefore circumcision is of vital importance.

And some will say that there is no point, and therefore why should we care.

People say all sorts. Which is no more than we can expect from the gooey sentience thing I suppose.

And I also suppose that some will say that there is a massive point, and therefore we should care. Well about the bits that we decide are worthy of care. Like foreskins for example.

Do we actually act in the interests of the newcomers?

Some might argue that creating an organism that will inevitably suffer decrepitude and death is not in that organism's best interests.

I would suggest that creating a newcomer is never done for the benefit of the newcomer.

Just like mutilating a child's sex organ is never done for the benefit of the child, that's just a ridiculous argument that attempts to justify one of the more bizarre aspects of human ideology.

We think therefore we also do stupid stuff.

But if you lost your senses, you would still have your memories.

And if you lost your memories, you would still have your senses.

3. Pre-natal developmental anomalies.

4. Modern responses relative to recreational sex and associated socio-psychological developments, which do not come under the umbrella of pre-natal developmental anomalies.

Nurtured nature if you like.

I'm not criticising, it's just that a lot of the associated justification rhetoric is a tad irksome.

I would suggest that there is a difference to be made between effect/affect and responding to a stimulus.

The hammer produces an effect, and the rock is affected.

But the rock doesn't go ouch.

But of course, certain rocks contain energy sources.

Material reactions that produce an effect without thinking.

And for sure organic masses are an amazing outcome of material development.

And high maintenance with it.

And so, all subject to both the limiting factors principle and potential toxicity. Whereby cells will respond at a sub-conscious level, and we will function correspondingly.

And then we have pathogens to deal with.

And a foetus will become aware relative to its physiological and sensory development and also its environment.

What are your first memories? As in stored data that you are able to recall.

Some people will say that they can remember being born, but I doubt that they're being honest.

I have no clear memories of anything before the age of five.

Perhaps that's because I had nothing to fear until I was made to go to school and interact with the wider world.

Random thoughts really.

Well, the human off switch is brain death.

And consciousness comes somewhere under the umbrella of electro chemical signalling within the human on-board computer.

Transferring those signals to an alternative computer, is surely feasible.

Would we be aware of an alternative existence outside of our original organic support mechanism?

After all, isn't consciousness, awareness of existence?

Does consciousness and awareness require anything other than an energy source?

As they will probably change again.

A thinking person's views will continually change.

Not basic functionality, but the conscious and continuous effort to develop and modify thoughts.

It would seem likely that sometime in the next few million years this will happen.
