Good morning America.

So we've ended up with an agricultural discussion and Greyparrot is being moderately rational for a change.

What's going on?

Doc is still doing his paranoid android thing though, so all is not lost.

Perhaps a holiday in the Donbas would do him good.

And opponents usually are divided,

And quite often dramatically feign bafflement.

As long as the moderate core remains intact,

The extremes won't tip the applecart.

Is what I say.

Yin and Yang for sure.

Abortion and how I form my abortion stance

@TheUnderdog
Well, that's your stylised  version of events.

My version is that deadbeat mum and dad only chose to have recreational sex.

The fusing of gametes was an unwanted consequence rather than a choice.

Couples who wish to start a family choose procreational sex, where the consequence of gamete fusion is the preferred outcome.

As I stated previously, the benefit of human ingenuity affords us options these days, one of which is the termination of unwanted pregnancies.

So you're cutting  firewood, and you choose to sever your leg with a chainsaw, therefore should you be compelled to bleed to death?

Choice or consequence?

For sure deadbeat mum and dad could have chosen to use a condom.....But when all is said and done, they are only sex driven deadbeats.

And can you imagine what it would have been like with all those deadbeat kids that would've been kicking around the neighbourhood if it hadn't have been for the ingenuity of surgically induced  abortion.

Thank GOD for giving us ingenuity is what I say.

OK.

So the U.S. has developed functional commonalities, so lets call that tradition.

Though heritage is still largely derived from overseas ancestry.

Put them together and you have a culture, I suppose.

But I also suppose that it's fair to say that culture is as culture does.

The battlefields of Ukraine will quickly develop a culture of animosity, revenge, violence and cruelty.

And are Mexicans xenophobes?

For sure....Some will be and some won't.....Same as everywhere else.

Largely as a result of formative conditioning and social deprivation, breeding jealousy and resentment.

No doubt xenophobia also exists within the U.S. and the U.K. between ethnic communities that still cling on to old heritage, traditions  and cultures.

Sex drive is inherent.

Sort of an in built addiction.

The whole purpose of which, is to produce kids.

Recreational sex is a side benefit, and won't result in kids if care is taken.

No accounting for deadbeat dad and mum though.

Let's say that foetuses are alien parasites from the planet deadbeat.

That's the beauty of hypothesis.

Though it could reasonably be argued, that as a foetus does not share the  DNA of the host mother, then technically it is an alien parasite.

Therefore the mother should have the right to choose whether or not her body can be used to nurture an alien invader.

For sure....All data output is subjective.

And I don't really have a political agenda, though I have concerns and views relative to my established data base which I enjoy discussing.

One of the roles of government is to push forwards ideas for change, and the basic format of the U.S. system dictates that the U.S. people select a government every 4 years and from thereon in the government gets on with things.....Like it or not.

Perhaps you think that a Putinesque approach would be better....Only any good though, if they represent all of your views and concerns.

And right and wrong are only relative to subjective points of view, though on certain issues there is often a collective agreement....But never complete agreement.

And finally....Your views and concerns are as valid as mine are, and also  as valid as GnosticChristians are.....It's just that we don't always agree.

And everyone discriminates, based upon a cause....It's the nature of data processing.

So, rationally moral or rationally immoral....You choose.

And I agree, recreational sex was normalized, the first time it occurred.

What sadolite is clearly referring to is social normalisation in terms of acceptance, relative to ongoing changes in assumed morality.....Though clearly not a whole collective agreement...As ever there are avid Pro's (you), avid Con's (sadolite) and the not bothered such as my self.....Birth, life, death...Life's too short to fret about what two men do with their penises and orifices.

Data in, data assessment, data modification, data out......7.9 billion differing versions......And no one is right and no one is wrong.....Though if you think that there is a GOD, you could try and find it and ask it for a definitive answer.

Homophobe is a term made up as an insult.

But in terms of terminology, homophobe is wholly  inaccurate.

A compound of an abbreviation and a suffix.

Such is disregard for the accuracy of language.

Homophobia should mean:

An irrational fear of man.

The term homo as an abbreviation of homosexual, wasn't adopted until the 20th century.

Nonetheless:

It is very unlikely that any ideological opponent of homosexuality, actually has an irrational fear of homosexuals.

If  someone is ideologically opposed to eating meat, does that make them a carnivorophobe?

Nope.

I suggested that socio-psychological trends evolve over time.....Which I referred to as nurtured nature. (See how you deliberately misconstrued my comment)

Though given the right conditions a child could be conditioned to accept anything as normality. (Why would we?......Good question....Why do some societies deliberately indoctrinate kids with religious non-sense? )

Recreational sex is simply based upon procreational sex drive. The end result of which is temporary satisfaction rather than conception.

And these days old social ethics and morality has less influence on how humans  achieve either outcome.

As a species we have slowly modified data transfer between generations. Removing the necessity for the old baggage of same sex marriage at 21 and 2.4 kids.

Now we have the concept of "gayness"....Which as it ever was, is simply one way of achieving sexual satisfaction.

Settling down with ones same sex partner in a nice house with a pedigree pooch and enjoying a vegan diet cooked in ones designer kitchen, is just a parody of old style social expectations.

And let's be clear....I'm not the slightest bit interested in what other people get up to as long as they do it peaceably.

I'm simply interested in being able to  discuss things as I see them.

For sure.

The magic of X.

Still doesn't alter the fact that 0.999r will never achieve a whole.

Nonetheless another way of looking at it is:

X = .999r

ergo .999r =.999r

Multiply both sides by 1

.999r = .999r (Not sure where you got 9.99r from)

If you subtract X from both sides (Given that the value of X is .999r)

We are left with

0 = 0

Though misleading over complicated responses and cluelessness is what one would have expected.

Nothing and then Something.

Or:

Always Something.

@Novice_II
Born children, unborn children....You are far from consistent and have a confusing way of switching between hypotheticals.

And a zygote could be any zygote, so why go on about zygotes.

And if you had paid attention previously, you might have understood my contention with the word belief.

However:

Belief is based upon supposition, so is therefore factually worthless.

Whereas factual certainty is such that belief is unnecessary.

So to say that I believed an advocate was obsessed, would also have been factually worthless.

Belief is a word that is used to conveniently prop up non-sense and uncertainty.

The obvious observation to be made from your verbosity, is that you are not actually interested in the issues in question.

I would suggest that sounding clever, is your primary game.

So, another question for you to ignore.

What is your stance on the issue of surgically induced, human embryonic/foetal abortion?

Belief is a logical contradiction.

And as I don't believe it was not possible to say either yes or no.

If you had asked, is someone who advocates obsessed.....Then the best answer that I could have given would have been perhaps not but one never knows.

As a  hypothetical advocate could be hypothetically anything.

And your descent into abusive chaos is a shame.

So:

Can you put born children, zygotes, deadbeat dads and hypothetical advocates into some sort of logical context?

A. I don't believe what I don't know.

What is a man or woman?
-->
@iloveshin
So is a duckling that identifies as a dog (not as silly as it might sound), a duck or a dog?

Well, it's still a duck, that has become psychologically associated with a dog.

Just as a man might  psychologically associate with femininity, and and a woman might associate with masculinity....Still doesn't mean that in terms of physical definition, a man is not a man and a woman is not a woman.

So we can say and do anything we choose to, but this does not alter the basic reality of gender....Male sperm producer, female egg producer.

Unless you cut his bollocks off, or remove her ovaries and render them both sterile.

Which won't stop people fiddling for fun with each others bits and bobs....Which is what it all really boils down to.....The application of sexuality, within a sexually repressed society.

Contradictions in religious textbooks

@rayhan16
There are usually miracles and prophecies in such mythology. Islam is not unique in this respect.

And what else has developed the practice of composing  symbolic narratives, that contain such concepts.

Before you can actually attribute such abilities to a supernatural character, you must firstly prove the existence of the supernatural character.

And if you open you mind to the reality of creation and material development, you would understand that deistic religions occurred billions of years after the event, relative to the comparatively recent development of human intellect.

But those who are 'deaf dumb and blind' do not want to listen.
A typically silly piece of emotive but insulting rhetoric.

Dumb and blind people are very keen to listen...As deaf  and dumb people are very keen to see....As blind and deaf people are very keen to communicate.

Perhaps it is you that has  been deafened, dumbed and blinded by the oppression of enforced ideology....So much so that you refuse to even look at the bigger picture, lest you incur the wrath of your ideological oppressor.

Not sure of your point.

Though I don't believe anything that cannot be proven.

And if something is proven, then one doesn't need to believe it.

We all advocate relative to our conditioned sensibilities, which is not quite the same as harping on about zygotes.

I advocate against abuse in general.

I also advocate for population control, which would include a sensible approach to recreational sex.

Unfortunately though the world is apparently awash with deadbeat dads and mums, who just can't control their propensity for gamete fusion.

To coin a phrase....It takes two to tango.
