Constitutional Revolution - a path to true democracy
-->
@Methusellah
And you think that everyone will agree.

I would suggest, that we have already learned that humans do not behave in that way.

"The ministers" can only control if the ministers agree......Which they won't.

Unless you have a one party tyranny, which can only be maintained by force.

Or a democratic structure, whereby there must be an ultimate decision making body......Or "the ministers" will just argue and achieve nothing.

And money being the basis and representation  of power within human societies, is an unavoidable expectation and necessity.

Very few people are happy to do something for nothing.

And the more one expects from people, then the more those people will expect in return.

For sure.

All the extreme Christians left Europe on boats and headed for the New World.

And give the good guy a gun to defend himself against the bad guy.....Simple.

The thing over here is, every Tom, Dick and Harriet can't just pop down the mall and stick a semi-automatic and some ammo in their trolley.

Though with 400million plus guns kicking around, I think that the U.S. is a bit of a lost cause.

For sure, the term religion can be broadly applied.

Perhaps in this context we should more correctly use the term theism.

I know.

So I might or might not be agreeing with you.

But one cannot be sure, because you never stated what your interpretation of socialism was.

I simply stated my understanding of the concept of socialism.

You stated that socialism is.

And I simply pointed out that socialism never really is.

One can chat about the concept.

But that's the limits of it's practicality.

There is, or never has been a State that was not reliant upon a more or less brutal system of hierarchical oppression.

Can you name one?

Religion was simply derived of an archaic pseudo-scientific creation hypothesis.

Variously adapted as a means of social control.

Encompassing ideas such as ethics and morality.

Ideas oftentimes espoused and enforced by unethical hypocrites.

And the trinity is a variously interpreted piece of theistic mumbo-jumbo.

If there was/is a divine infinitely existent creator, then there was/is.

Or perhaps there were three.

Bob, Scoop and Dizzy.

And then there was Wendy, sort of a trans-angelic in a hard hat.

The thing with "socialism is".

It isn't.

All it is,

Is a largely philosophical adaptation of the same old system.

Oftentimes a harsher system that espoused equality but inevitably delivered an oppressive reality..

Better a freely unequal system, that at least delivers opportunity.

And the new techo generation sit in their rooms click their devices remotely politicising and refer to themselves as right or left.

Well as I always say, the U.S. is actually a three group system.

Republicans, Democrats...........And everyone else....The Moderates if you like.

And everyone else, tends to decide who makes it into government.

And those with lofty aspirations will always be mocked (in a relatively free society) by those who enjoy mocking

A. Men dressed as women and women dressed as men are as obvious as the nose on your face.

People look, people assess and people conclude, and people will respond according to how they have become programmed to respond.

B. "For all the stink made about bathrooms".....Excellent analogy.....Or was that an anal-ogy.

And relative to point A, some people will inevitably kick up a stink....Especially in the bathroom.

Though most people will quietly leave the bathroom and giggle.

C. Ogy....Has a certain onomatopoeic quality to it, don't you think.

Nice.

I agree entirely.

It's what I refer to as material evolution.

Which I suppose in a way is predeterminism.

On another planet in another solar system, everything in essence, would be exactly the same.

And I suppose that directly or indirectly energy is extracted from a star.

Though from the ultimate negentropy scrapers point of view, any cosmic energy source will do?

Pro-life is a contradiction in terms.

Because one cannot be truly pro-life and be alive.

All that pro-lifers are doing is narrowing down life to mean one insignificant blob of hominid mucus.

Developmental irregularities will occur, which will inevitably lead to operational glitches.

Though I would suggest that spirituality as a physiological response is  quite normal, but often misinterpreted and therefore exaggeratedly defined.

We experience, we respond, we read too much into the experience.

Debating within this format is a very random affair, prone to all sorts of unregulated influences.

Voting is inevitably going to be biased, moderation is biased and whimsical, and ELO is a bit of statistical fancy.

Definitely not to be taken too seriously.

@Tradesecret
Well...As ever Trade I don't see a GODS definition of sin.

Only your reinterpretation of an archaic human concept, relative to an archaic human concept.

So how do you interpret the concept of original sin and the fall of man?

It is somewhat contradictory when Adam was made in a GODS image, is it not?

As I see it biblical sin is all about the onset of intellectual overthink, and the consequent onset of human physical inhibitions.

As for the Commandments:

We have no way of knowing what more recent interpretations of some sort of code of conduct originally relate to. But they certainly have a an air of human style social authoritarianism about them. I see nothing GODLY in them. They are all about human conduct and the violation of human authority.

Unless GOD is extremely selfish and authoritarian of course......After all, we are made in his own image.....So to put it crudely, God is an arsehole and therefore so will we inevitably be.

And we have been genetically programmed to die, by GOD, which therefore in your eyes is murder. A contradictory GOD it would seem.

Religion is relatively harmless if practiced as a hobby. Like a Sunday morning sing song type of thing, or a bit of naked dancing in the woods.

Though it would seem that techno-evolution requires the broadest of gene pools and the cooperation of the best minds.

So where an ideological State intervenes  stymying global cooperation, this might inhibit progress.

But of course this might be a good thing.......Or even an inevitable thing.

It would depend upon what credence one gives to the notion of predeterminism.

Yes, it was a lovely day.

And the Earth was at a specific point of it's Solar Orbit, such that viewed from here, the duration between the sun rising and setting was at it's maximum.

And today, hopefully will be very similar but with a marginally shorter duration between sun rise and sun set.

And so on, until December 21st.

And so on.

Until such a time, when the Sun will eventually engulf the Earth.

And we will cease to be memories.

Unless we have escaped this Earthly prison.
