It's interesting how we variously appreciate sensory input.

And amphetamines make you grind your teeth. LOL

I had a work mate who was always popping uppers, and his antics used to have us in stitches.

Silly is as silly does Doc.

There was a woman over here, who went about hospitals protesting against the fake virus....And you've guessed it........Covid-19 killed her.

Silly woman.

I would suggest that making up the rules as we go along is the only option.

Or perhaps they tell us how to deal with Covid in the Bible...LOL.

Nanny State expects it's leaders to be miracle workers....Nope, it doesn't work like that.

You need to heed ongoing  advice, but also think for yourself.

Morality - Is Atheism More Reasonable than Theism?
-->
@PGA2.0
@3RU7AL
Ugly is a decision, arrived at through comparison.

I was walking down a beautiful Scottish hillside and came across  heap of scrap mental....The Rabbits that lived within, seemingly appreciated the eyesore more than I did.

As far as I am concerned, modern cities are ugly heaps of concrete and glass, but I'm certain that the residents within would not necessarily agree.

Ugliness is the unreason/reason of an individuals conceptuality, as are atheism and theism.

Depending upon ones assessment of data.....GOD is either non-sense or not.

And as I always say....GOD principle sound....Floaty about bloke not so.

Not at all.

Human data analysis, assesses and compares and outputs data subjectively.

Validity and truth may remain indeterminate.

Especially if the validity of the primary data source is indeterminate.

What Do The Gospels Actually Say About the Crucifixion + ? Pt1
-->
@Polytheist-Witch
Yep...That's the trouble with translation and transcription...Things get misinterpreted or lost, and also embellished.

And yet some are prepared to accept  without question, an English account of something, transcribed some 1600 to 3000 years  or more, after the events.

And that's assuming that the original tales were in fact 100% accurate, honest and unembellished.

You can therefore see why some people are a tad more sceptical.

Beautiful.

Not that we can be certain that all girls are female these days.

And one would assume that a women who had been bleeding for 12 years, would have died 11 and a bit years ago....LOL

And most of the evidence would suggest that Jesus preferred male company, and never married any variously gendered person.

And one must consider that in biblical times, just as now in certain countries, women were not regarded as being worthy of much of a mention.

And Jesus's sexuality wasn't really a necessary part of the plot....So feel free to re-write the script.....Arabian Stallions could be the working title.

Grey matter.....Grey areas.

Assumed objectivity is subjective output, irrespective of known facts.

Venezuela is a shit country.
There's politics for you...HaHa.

I would say that Venezuela is a delineated area of a land mass located on Planet Earth.

It is people who have a tendency to sometimes do "shit" things.

And most delineated regions, have a tendency to run a surplus of people......That's one big problem.

Natural hierarchy is what determines politics and outcomes.....Brains,  manipulation of the masses, power and the consequential benefits thereof. Irrespective of ideology.

People is variously politics.....The politics of 2 or the "shit" politics of 28,704,954.

What Art Have You Recently Gotten Into?

In my opinion....Hassam was reasonably adept at putting paint to canvas, but a bit of a copyist.

And Kahlo was a  bit of a narcissist, but her work has the visual appeal, that Hassam's lacks.

To be honest, I don't think that one can be taught art.....One can be taught technique and indoctrinated with other peoples ideas.

Though I would suggest that art is not so much about what other people do, but about what you think.

Otherwise art just becomes marketing and business.

How do you define "God"...
-->
@ronjs
The creation of matter is seemingly impossible, so we must conclude that this potential has always existed, even though this is also seemingly impossible.

And time and space do not need creation...These potentials always exist.

We can also more reasonably conclude, that matter evolves.....Perhaps to a meaningful conclusion and re-establishment.....This is how I define a GOD principle.

No floaty about blokes actually required.

One could also question the past and the future.

Yesterday, today was tomorrow, and tomorrow today will be yesterday, as it were.

In fact, one could infer from this, that everything continuously exists in the present.

And therefore, the present is infinitely "long".

For sure, fictitious lines are relative to nationhood.

But if there is no one there with a barrier or a gun, then the line fictitious line is inconsequential.

Such is Ireland.

The real barrier is the  inherited ideology, culture and resentment of memory zealots.

Gender Dysphoria and Mental Illness
-->
@TheUnderdog
Age is ongoing.

Physical gender is defined a few days after conception.

And transgender is largely a modern affectation relative to a variety of influences........Theories vary relative to how one discriminates

As ever....Naturally occurring developmental aberrations  do occur.

And mental illness is just that.

And dysphoria is dysphoria.

And sexual fulfilment is also what it is.....And how we achieve this is largely irrelevant....Though some people choose to think not, and also choose to sub-categorize and discriminate, accordingly.

And the bottom line is, species survival still depends upon gamete fusion.....But how we achieve this has also become a separate issue.

Such is the evolution of Humankind.

Top of the morning to you Doc.

And yep... A reasonable short summary of recent history.

Though I think Dubya would have probably used the word hurtified.

Borders are fictitious lines, on maps and in heads.

And I'm a citizen of Planet Earth, sub-categorized as European, then British, born in England and living in Wales..... And like most similarly placed people, I regard all those across the Irish pond, as Irish of Earthling extraction.

And "The Troubles".....Were silly men with guns and bombs, harping on about the past.....Certain parallels  to be drawn with the Israeli, Palestinian troubles, for sure.

And all depending upon which bit of the past one wishes to dwell upon, of course.

Sponsors of terror are largely profit motivated arms manufactures and dealers.

3400 years ago isn't the first place.

And land purchase is an assumption that handing over a wad of dosh somehow means you can own the Earth, whereas a homeland is where the foetus is dropped.

The actual difference between the two sides  is hypothetical ideology and the divergence thereof.

In terms of 3400 years ago the natives of the Arabian peninsula, were largely, one and the same.

And modern Israel survives thanks only to it's Big Bro across the Atlantic pond.

And all the lessons of the 1940's were largely forgotten in the 1950's.

The problem is neither Jewish nor Palestinian.....The problem is humanity, and it's ideologically contrived non-sense.

Or I should say, the ideologically contrived non-sense of a minority of zealots.

The intoxicated often retain the belief that they are behaving rationally.... Though staggering,  speech impediments and eventual collapse are usually the big give away.

Vomit and headaches may follow.

Been there, done that.
