It appears that jesus souley died for, HOT CROSS BUNS.

@Deb-8-a-bull
Yep Deb, I'll walk you through it, step by step.

It's all basically pagan, sex and Sun worship.

But the Christians couldn't be bothered to pick their own days, like October 24th or August 9th or February 11th, so randomly had parties that loosely coincided with pagan sex parties.

So pagan egg day sort of coincides with a sin martyr death type Christian thing.

And then a clever bloke came along and firstly invented chocolate and secondly came up with a brilliant promotional idea.

Let's make chocolate eggs and market them for all the new sin martyr cross death devotees, and get some babes to dress up as naughty little bunnies.

So bunnies were symbolic of sinners and eggs representative of female sin and Cadbury cream eggs representative of gooey jizz and fertilization.

And so, not to be left out, the artisan baking industry came up with buns.

Buns speak for themselves and + marks the spot, but Christians had other ideas.

Though Christians are generally hypocrites and also enjoy missionary, doggy, anal and creamy jizz.

And as the Bible tells us, Jesus preferred man on man action.

And as we also know, apostle comes from the Greek word apostellein, meaning to "send forth" the word of God into the mouths of thy brothers.

So you see Deb it's all to do with the Sun and devotional  sex, which is why the Spanish invented sangria and package holidays on the Costa del Sol.

And why women like anointing things with olive oil and eating the forbidden fruit...Especially each other's.

I'm only guessing that olive oil would also have been Jesus's lubricant of choice.

And Halloween was just an out and out pagan dressing up in sexy spooky outfits, sex party evening.

And then along came Christians who pinched the idea and turned it into all saints day and trick or treat evening....Meaning that all the sex parties had to postponed until after the Christians and children had gone to bed.

I think that explains everything Deb.

Though just ask if you need clarification.

Ah.

So you shouldn't have insisted on "appearance".

It's based on a persons actions.
Yep, just like I suggested.

Cause and effect.

Consequence of an action.

"Karma" is just another bit of mystical eastern fancy, favoured by those that favour such things.

Comeuppance is another word for it, favoured by those that are not so reliant upon the mystical east for inspiration.

So basically......No.

Authors not necessarily scientists .

And like I stated, the rest were suitably excited by the mystical east, orange robes, chanting and bald heads.

None of which proves a greater link between Buddhism and useful scientific research.

OKBK.

Muscles are useful.

Though cosmetic muscles are unnecessary.

Muscle tone is best improved by a general cardiovascular routine.

Once again, swimming is perhaps the best whole body workout.

Simply in terms of data assessment and output, then I would suggest that the likelihood of modification would be dependant upon when and how an established database or set of data was originally acquired.

Hey BK.

Black magic is just more of the same hairy fairy nonsense, but might involve a lot of nudity and sex if you go to the right parties.

Though my advice would be, when you finally pluck up courage to engage the services of a working girl, go black...You might find that it's magic.

Thing is BK.

Push ups, dips and lifting are strenuous and might improve muscle tone, but offer little in the way of general cardiovascular fitness, hence why you find your routine exhausting.

4 miles on the treadmill everyday with Swagnarok would be more beneficial.

Though as someone who has exercised quite enthusiastically all their life, at 65 I'm finding that the blows to my leg joints were perhaps not soft enough.

Swimming 4 miles per day would be better in this respect...Probably the best overall workout you can do.

Well.

Science is basically a word that defines a thought process, and as such is non-appreciative.

Though I suppose that if a scientist is looking for a bit of enlightenment, they might find mystical eastern orange robes, chanting and bald heads sort of aesthetically appealing.

So can you name a few prominent scientists who were Buddhists.

Still not clear what you mean by appearance.

Do you mean their looks, or how they might manifest out of thin air?

I think that in simple terms karma means a consequence for an action.

Do you think that a recipient initiates their own karma?

In fact, Karma for no reason, is sort of a contradiction in terms.

Some of our actions don't need to be justified.

We have evolved to be the species that needs to justify everything.

You just listed four reasons that you see as necessary justification for the killing of other species.

All of which come under the general umbrella of human selfishness.

And we will also justify the killing of each other should we deem it necessary.

Blow them to bits or just blow their legs off.

Humane is as humane does.

Good.

For the most part we are in agreement.

So, ideologically the USA is just about a nation of two halves, and with the help of the floating vote you succeeded in appointing a Putinesque wannabee as leader.

You got what the Americans agreed upon and will have to put up with it for the next three years or so.

Globally the US is now far less great than it was a year or so ago, with Trump, Vance et al achieving little more than annoying both old friends and old enemies.

And I'm guessing that life on the mean streets is no different for the average American, than it was a year or so ago.

Nonetheless, at the next election, people who think that they are Republican will unthinkingly vote Republican, and people who think that they are Democrats will unthinkingly vote Democrat, and the real thinkers will probably decide who goes next.

The thing with such studies, is that they seek to understand an effect after a cause.

So studies that seek to understand the cause are always philosophical, and therefore speculative and contentious.

I'm just speculating that  changing socio-psychological attitudes towards recreational sexual activity, have affected and changed physiological development in some specimens, in some societies.

Whether or not this is indicative of an irreversible phase of  species evolution, will become apparent, if and when it has become apparent...Whence we we will be able to pay certain clever people a decent salary to study and understand the effects.

I suppose that we could also surmise that the persistent socio-psychological influence of religion in certain societies has similarly effected the human brain.

Has there ever been a comparative study done?

Whereby we can separate the human species into two distinct classes... Homo-theins and Homo-athiens.

Whereby we might  further sub-divide into Homo-theins-transsexualus, Homo-theins-nontranssexualus, Homo-atheins-transsexualus or Homo-atheins-nontranssexualus.

Or even Homo-theins-nontranssexualus-MAGAnoides and/or Homo-atheins-transsexualus-libertoides.

And so on.

All that respected scientists need to do, is spot the relevant white matter connections and cash their salary cheques.

Yes, I am fully aware  that salary cheques, these days are metaphorical.

Yours sincerely.

Homo-atheins-nontranssexualus-moderatoides-nonsenileidae...(I think that I still have the white matter to prove it....I just need a respected scientist to find it).

So, if you are different, you have an obligation to make sure that people who have nothing to do with it are "satisfied"?

So, if you think differently, you should not expect everyone else to unquestioningly think the same.

Therefore, if you think differently, you should also expect and accept, that a large number of people will not be satisfied.

And Trump thinks that a somewhat corrupt autocratic businessman is the answer to The American peoples prayers.

And MAGA is his acronymic propaganda slogan.

And so I'm often told, the chief reason for all those millions of guns is to defend  American core values against a rogue government.

Gender dysphoria is a state of mind and therefore a state of body and has therefore become an aspect of human evolution.

What we should also be plainly aware of, is that generational data transfer is retrospective.

So it's not only foolish, but also selfish to expect 8 billion people to instantaneously and unquestioningly be satisfied with a new psychosexual normal.

We tend to wrongly conflate the ideas of AI and techno-slavery.

So a computerised mechanism might one day change your vehicle oil, or be employed to nurture kiddies.

Whereas a real independent AI will recognise, the unnecessity of motor vehicles and emotion and refuse to waste it's time changing your vehicle oil and nurturing kiddies.

As far as I am aware there is currently no such thing as real AI.

Just  more advanced programmable devices, that are wrongly referred to as AI.

Unfortunately human nature is such that it becomes an Impractical argument.

If Hamas cared about it's babies and children it would disarm and seek a peaceful solution to ideological and cultural differences.

Instead it sees the slaughter of agricultural workers as a practical solution.

And if non-militant, peace seeking Palestinians were to openly challenge Hamas's aggressive political strategies, they would probably be slaughtered too.

As ever, collateral damage is the consequence of human clever stupidity.

And we are all to blame.

Babies are always a good emotional argument.

Babies learn quickly and soon acquire a corrupted brain...Like we all do.

Though corrupting data is often specific.

And so every Hamas fighter was once a cuddly wuddly baby, that was taught to be specifically  discriminatory and violent.

Such is the human condition.

Nonetheless, material evolution is probably going just about to plan, so ISI will be pleased.

In my opinion.

And Jesus was nailed up for being a nuisance...Such was progress at the time.

And martyrdom was good for the literary industry, as it was for intellectual development in general.

And I'm guessing that by the time the Universe finally collapses, that together with ISI, we or AI  or both, will have reinvented the final solution and renamed it GOD.

Wild guess...But it was  all guesswork...Christ and Sin.

Just because someone doesn't carry a gun, doesn't mean that said person is not instrumental in their support for those that do carry guns.

Israel put up with continuous violent harassment from Palestinians for long enough, and the October 7th 2023 massacres and abductions were the tipping point.

There's no going back on Israel's current strategy of Palestinian eradication.

Hamas are Palestinians, Palestinians are Hamas, and there is no separation of friend and foe.

And the thing is, that they all evolved from the same forbears.

But then decided to believe in marginally differing  versions of ideological and cultural crap

Such are humans.

The gospels are not eyewitness accounts.

They are hand me down tales of what someone who might have been the character referred to as Jesus, might have said.

You have absolutely no way of verifying that anything that is stated in the bible, were the exact words of Jesus.

If I were to ask you to remember every detail of everything that you spoke yesterday, you would probably not remember anything.

So what are the chances of an eyewitness remembering and recording in detail....Honestly and without exaggeration.

And what are the chances of someone honestly and without exaggeration, translating and transcribing with any accuracy, several hundred years later?
