Millions of people believe in a GOD, because millions of people are conditioned to believe in a GOD.

Teach your kids nonsense and they will grow up believing in nonsense.

N.B. The GOD principle is not necessarily nonsense....Though associated human based and fantasy embellished mythologies tend to be nonsensical.

Jesus if a reality, was a man born of a woman and latterly worshiped as a representation of a GOD....Therefore irrespective of the bible tales, Jesus is a GOD proxy, whether you like it or not.

And the Christian GOD hypothesis is a copy cat of all other GOD hypotheses the preceded it....The Sun probably being one of them.

Spirituality is an internal electro-chemical response to an external stimulus.....Which might or might be suggestive of something else or might just be pure physiology at play....We can but speculate and we can but imagine.

One either is or isn't conditioned to believe.

Atheism by definition is lacking belief....But "atheism" has become something  of a loaded term for some  theists....They like to read more into it for the sake of argument.

Worship the SUN and refer to it as the SUN of GOD if you like, it's just another GOD proxy..... And no more or less meaningful.

Though it could argued that realistically, the SUN of GOD is actually far more meaningful to us than the old SON of GOD myth.

The biggest assumption is that the bible is in anyway a completely accurate record of anything.

The bible is basically some facts (people and places), embellished with a super-natural creation hypothesis and an associated godhead....And this  was all compiled a few thousand years ago by a variety of literate but fallible humans.

A few thousand years ago, a day was a day, one rotation of the Earth marked by sunrise and sunset. How this period of duration was measured is irrelevant.

Assumptions were and are made to substantiate illogical ideas.....And even though we now have a far greater understanding of time and events....Some people are still having to make assumptions in order to substantiate outdated theistic hypotheses.

And Darwin, a conditioned thinker would consider creation and a creator....Creation and creator is a logical assumption for an evolutionist to make.

Well, I was just attempting to introduce a bit of fun to the subject of I.Q.

Neither puzzle is a trick, though both require a bit of lateral thinking, which as I see it, is the application of knowledge and intellect.

Jesus was supposedly the Son of God...Not the big fella that got Jesus's Mom pregnant.

So the Christians have this Jesus fella, and Muslims have Muhammad, and the Catholics have the supposed virgin.

And the Big fella gets given various names, but he's essentially the same in all  takes of a regional creation hypothesis.

And other folk elsewhere, worshipped all manner of  other things.

Well, some things are just logical.

Absorbing only the information that we want to absorb is the human condition...Especially for oldies, rapidly approaching senility.

As far as I am aware, all Abrahamic religions worship the same GOD.

Evolution might be intelligently designed......And some people firmly believe so.....But no one actually knows.

But did you also take into account every other pertinent definition. Such as assume, ability and unknown.

You're breaking  statements down into their component parts and scrutinizing components separately, rather that scrutinizing the whole.

This becomes a lexical semantics argument, rather than a philosophical argument.

So you can't solve them.

The misinterpretation and misuse of words, or straying form formal definition is  commonplace.

Primarily, a fact is a known truth.

Though we have the ability to assume that there are unknown facts.

And a string of factors that make up a statement can be incorrectly regarded as being a fact...Such as, the Cat sat on the mat wearing a hat whilst, eating a Rat.

We assume that External reality is.....And internal data processing, though amazing, is inconsistent.
