Yep.
We all know what Ol' Sal bases just about every argument upon.
Prayer can be positive though.....Wouldn't you agree?

Just as in the U.K. The U.S. head of state is of German ancestry and is currently married to a Slovenian.
And how does your ancestry pan out.
The apple doesn't fall far from the tree as they say!

Can you explain the existence of the singularity?....Something from nothing.
Intelligence is remembered and utilised data... And intelligence evolves and is continually transferred....To what point?
The re-initiation of a universal sequence maybe?
But can you explain the existence of the singularity?.....Something from nothing.

Well.
The statement is a logical generalisation and fallacious in it's non-specific presentation. Ergo a logical fallacy I suppose.
Though the generally non-specific nature of it's presentation doesn't render it readily identifiable.
There might be a God.... Is an obvious example of a logical fallacy.

I've been trying to point this out to you in another thread... (Refugees etc).

@Greyparrot
Yep. I agree.
Though I would regard this as the ongoing process of material evolution.
At some point the human race is going to have to hand over the reins to technology (A.I.)
Maybe there is a greater purpose beyond the reach of our fragile organic capabilities.
Also, humans are too dogged by the past to be able to fully commit to the future.

Have you been in a Coma for the last decade.
Yours and unfortunately mine also, have been continuously fucking up the region, supposedly for the good of the people.
And look what good it's actually done them.
And now your trying to say...... Who? Us.....Nothing to do with Us.

P.M.A. is proven to benefit well being. This is a physiological certainty and nothing whatsoever to do with religion.
Nonetheless, if prayer promotes P.M.A. and induces a sense of well being, then all to the good.
One isn't suggesting that if you pray to a god for a box of chocolates. UPS will be popping round next day with a fine Belgian selection.
Yum Yum.

As I said Zionism is what it is and the Trump Netanyahu meeting was all about Zionism .
You do know what Zionism is don't you?
Or are you just misrepresenting for dramatic effect again like you did with the word semitic.
And you're not selectively moral hey. I don't believe you for a minute. You might tow the party line but that doesn't absolve you of your own thoughts.

Alienation by non-alignment....bad move.
There are other big players ready to jump into The U.S's shoes.
You definitely need to keep those Turks on side.

P.M.A. is good.
So if that includes prayer then.
Praying is good too.

@Dr.Franklin
Yep.
Dating "marketplace" sums it up.
Marketability obviously involves sentimentally bullshitting and window dressing.
Though the underlying instinctive realities nonetheless stay the same.
Not sure about the "ruthless wall" analogy..... Walls tend to be inert.....Is it the presence of the wall that's ruthless?
Created:

@EtrnlVw
Ok.
So I won't argue against those sentiments.
But I think that is how most ordinary people try to behave, within the constraints applied to them by everyday social pressures.
I would suggest that whether or not one is a theist makes very little difference.
I would also suggest that professing Christianity is no guarantee of a persons character.
Also, given the nature of World theism, Christianity by itself becomes unavoidably divisive.
So it would clearly be far better to teach our children the above sentiments within an atheist context.

Refugees are refugees and you cannot blame them for being angry, considering how we fucked up their lives for them.
And neither can we blame the Turks, considering how we fucked up their security.

Do you find that repeating the question etc.Do you find that repeating the question etc.
Freedom of thought has nothing to do with answering questions or not.
I never mentioned hypothetical actuality.....You just made that one up..... Assumed actuality should be easy enough to understand though.
Zionism...I thought we'd moved on from there. Nonetheless Zionism is what it is and was therefore apt.
And we are all selectively moral.....It's a fact of life.
Hopefully I can continue to live a liberal life. There are probably billions of people around the world that wish for the same.
StupZedpidity...Nope to many P's.
Is Zedipitydoodaa to liberal and therefore too frivolous?

Bankruptcy is a point at which the system is allowed to break down.
When we have to admit that realistically, money is irrelevant and that the system is flawed.

All politicians and wannabe politicians, wannabe authoritarian. it's the name of the game.
And bankruptcy is the point at which we admit that the system has become unworkable.

What do you think that any of the above data output actually means in a presumably realistic context?
In other words, what are you on about?

@ethang5
The general term is.
So why are Semite children lowlife?
Nope, no hate, only preferred entertainers perhaps.
Created:

@Vader
Typically. All started by the U.S. and their Middle Eastern meddling's. (Ok, so the U.K's lick arse government has to stand shoulder to shoulder.)
And Turkey is overburdened with refugees, so as the problem is effectively the U.S's, wouldn't it be right and proper to set up refugee camps somewhere in the South Eastern U.S.
Not In My Back Yard, hey?

@ethang5
LOL.
What is an actual deity?
Concepts are concepts and the ability to conceptualise should be defended. Freedom of thought and all that.
A fact of life is just that. Both hypothetical and assumed actuality are facts of life. They must be, otherwise we wouldn't have been discussing them for several days.
Nope, no one mentioned the sky.
"Rare characteristics". Et tu Brute.
Hey! Give me a burning fact then Ethang5. The best digging dodger on debateart.
And "StupZedpidity" needs a bit more work.
How about Zedipitydoodaa.

@ethang5
Just for the record:
Semite is a general term for people who speak a Semitic language, which includes both Jews and Arabs.
And as I stated previously, in a separate thread perhaps. I have no political allegiances.
I regard politicians and political debate for their entertainment value.
So, Donny marches for life and the U.S drones another Semite. Isn't that a tad hypocritical.

You're a person of few words.
But you will need a few more to substantiate your claim of 100% correctness.

LOL.
Hypothesis is just that.
As is your god.
So neither I nor you can show a hypothetical god.
Therefore we have conclusively shown that a real god cannot be shown either..
Lets call it the Thangvictor Razor.

It was the clever that made all the technology.
And the enjoyment argument could be regarded as a tad shallow.
Enjoyment often tends to be a short lived fix for boredom.
Pink Floyd...Money....Great song.
Created:

@Dr.Franklin
Well it might be within a socio-conceptual context but you could say that about a lot of things and it's unlikely that anything is ever 100% correct.
Nonetheless, realistically sentimental bullshit.
Ok. So the interface between concept and realism is a tad blurry, in so much, as when is a concept not real?
I know.

How taxes should work is simple stuff.
Understanding the various ways of avoiding tax is what you need to get your head around.
Hence professional accountants.
Such is the case in the U.K.
I'm not sure if the U.S is the same.

And the dodgy Orange Guy will march if he thinks it's worth it.
And just like the Orange guy we're all selectively moral when push comes to shove.

Stick a urinal on a plinth and call it fountain.
Was Marcel being serious or literally taking the piss?
Hey, but he convinced people that it had value. Which as you suggested, is what it's all about.
If you can convince the gullible it's art, then they will happily part with their money.
Money, that's what really makes society tick.
Fuck art.

If the cap fits as they say.
Nonetheless:
What's the point of having loads of excess stuff, including money, that you don't necessarily need or use. When there are fellow human beings that could make good use of your excesses?
Have a go at giving me a pragmatic answer to this question. Rather than just the same old us and them rhetoric.
