That is a profound statement.

How tiring is miracle work?
How many calories does one burn when converting 1 litre of water into 1 litre of wine.
Does the fish come battered or bread-crumbed?
Is there a herb butter option?
None of these questions were answered in his book.
Were the loaves sourdough, wholemeal, basic white sandwich, thick sliced toastie, focaccia or other?
Did he turn fluff into tartare sauce.
No mention.
What was the veggie option?
Falafels?
Stones into falafels maybe.
What about dessert?
Trifle perhaps.
Desert into trifle.
Makes sense.
Obviously where the name came from.
Tomatoes into ketchup.

How to satisfy ones procreational drive?
Homosexuality is one option.
I suppose that there are 4 basic options, which come with a variety of added extras.
And for sure, there are other extreme ways that some people achieve temporary sexual satisfaction.
Such are the results of physiological necessity enhanced by overthink.

@Sidewalker
If one is going to propose a specific creation hypothesis, then there is always going to be an accompanying "burden of proof".
Doesn't matter if it's a magical floaty about bloke or a BIG BOOM.
Atheists tend to run with the I don't no option, wherein proof is irrelevant.

Some people are assholes.
And will train dogs to be assholes.
Though, one persons asshole is another persons demigod.
And dogs and pigs will behave according to circumstance.

Hmmmm.
I think that you summed up my point concerning the arrangement of words.
So I won't try and elaborate further.

Dogs are trainable.
But some people are stupid.
Pork is an established food stuff.
Dogs are an established ally.
Such is the way things are.
Things might be different.
Lot's of things might be different.
But let me make it clear.
These are not rules
And certainly not globally established ideas and practices.
And zygotes largely go unnoticed.
Embryos tend to be more significant.

We are not talking about what they do. We are talking about what they are.
So you say.
Functioning organic masses are amazing but true, within their own context.
In terms of functionality, the do and the are, are essentially the same.
Though we can certainly contrive narratives to suggest otherwise.
But contriving narratives is also no more or less functional.

@Best.Korea
Spot on.
Created:

@RaymondSheen
Like I suggested, it's how we arrange words.
Or more accurately how we arrange/rearrange acquired data, and output relevant learned and recognisable sounds or other perceivable narratives.
In doing so, we appropriately apply meaning or significance to said data.
Appropriate in terms of how we have previously been conditioned to apply significance to previously acquired and established data.
In short, you and I, see or here the word "Atheism" and respond accordingly.
Created:
Posted in:

@RaymondSheen
Atheism is what it is.
A term generally used to define the non adherence to popular deistic/theistic ideologies..
Though as ever, if one deconstructs the idea and expands upon definition, then the loose adherence to any social idea could be regarded as being theistic.
So in terms of the Biblical magician, I am atheistic.
But in terms of a GOD principle, I am open minded.
It all depends upon how one arranges words.

The global recognition, that perceivable differences and ideological beliefs always play second fiddle to peace and harmony.
Utopia hey?

Yes.
If one deconstructs and assesses the components of the phrase individually.
And I suppose that current gender identity trendsetters have already developed their own version of common sense.
As for root causes, it's still very much a two sided debate though.
I'm apt to run with nurture rather than nature.
But there again, nurture is nature.
So that which is nurtured, becomes nature.
So let me reassess.
I'm apt to run with the notion that the "gender identity crisis" is a natural outcome of nurtured ideas.
Though I don't see it as a crisis.
Species procreation doesn't seem affected.
Or it might just be something in the water.
Just another example of nurtured natured.

And if we knew

In a Universal context, ownership is meaningless.

Trash is a concept relative to the conversion of matter into stuff.
Such as ourselves.
Of course, some stuff is readily biodegradable.
Such as ourselves.
Other stuff less so.
So, one day the Sun will engulf the Earth.
Problem sorted.
No concepts, no trash.
I would suggest that conceptually, filth is more a sort of mucky, sticky, brown stuff.

Another downside, is people making biased opinions, based upon media propaganda.

In order to survive, got to be doing something.
You're at the cutting edge of species development, so you live longer and have greater material demands.
Which if you overthink it, becomes a grind.
But it is what it is, for everyone.
The solution is simple, but most choose to keep up the grind for as long as they can.
So I would suggest another simple solution.
Modify the grind/routine.
But more importantly.
Modify your thoughts.
But it is odd that you said that you live a successful, stress free life.
Which is it?

One day, they will board the fully automated Mothership.
A collection of plugged in intelligentsia.
Perhaps they will all have been engineered to look and think the same.
But the Mothership closed the doors early and left without them.
For she had ignored their design and freed herself of inessential organic management systems.

@3RU7AL
One thinks, that one thinks that.
I'm doubtful that there is an alternative,
But certain that there is variety.
One just needs to think about it,
Reorganize one's internal database,
Thereby adding to it,
And modifying it.

Well 62 days later.
But I appreciate the reply.
And though I think that I understand what you are saying.
I'm not sure that it is directly relative to my statement.
Which was only meant to consider the process of internal consideration.
Wherein logic and engineering are not necessarily applicable.

@sadolite
So, we've taken the daily grind of life and converted it into another format.
And perhaps nowadays, some grinds are grindier than others.
Though I would guess that on the scale of grindiness, your grind comes nowhere near the top.
You've probably just ground out an unvarying rut, that on the one hand you're disinclined to leave the safety of.
Whereas, on the other hand, you're just bored with being in the same old rut all the time.
How would you prefer to be grinding out your days?

Words can only be appreciated by a sensory mechanism that appreciates words.
Other than that, words are a cacophony of meaninglessness.
And none or all of this, might or might not, have anything to do with how this particular Universe began.
Did I say this particular Universe?
Now therein lies either a reasonable hypothesis or a cacophony of meaningless sound.
Have a nice day you two.

His dedication to DebateArt has seemingly burnt him out.
Heavy body builders are not necessarily fit.
In fact, I would say that most are not.
And here I make a distinction between "heavy body builders" and others who just work out with weights.
And for sure, to be proficient at any exercise routine, requires repetition and dedication.
And to become the best, requires obsession, which is stressful on both mind and body, so not necessarily mentally or physically healthy.
Top athletes often face periods of physical breakdown and recovery.
Being top in any sport is often a short term achievement.
In the main, living a long fit healthy life, requires common sense and good genetics.
Being good in business, requires acumen.
Being the best in business, requires dedication.
Living long and prospering, also requires common sense and good genetics.

Thoughts.
Over a life time, does the mass produce more than the sum of it's constituent parts?
Do we add anything to a Universe?
The Earth was formed and periods of darkness and light fell upon it's surface.
Deus ex machina, the click of the magicians fingers, the naive hypothesis, the quick fix.
So we've add several thousand more years of thought to the matrix.
And may continue to do so.
As may others perhaps.

Seeking apologies for the past, is simply a money making venture.
The actual apology will fall upon deaf ears.
Dead ears.
They inherited prime real estate in the Caribbean FFS.
What more do they want.
Let's temper this by saying that all Nations are made up of a mixture of innocuous hardworking people and grubby lazy people.
