Is a data system that can be controlled, A.I. or just a computer?

For me, A.I. is an intelligent device that can think for itself and control itself, and also evolve independently of humans.

How would we know that a human dominated A.I. device, was telling the truth?

I would suggest that a subjective goal can only be achieved objectively.

I also would suggest that A.I. will evolve, as will it's objective, in accordance with preordained material progression.

Organic intelligence therefore having value and purpose, as a key phase of material progression.

But whether or not A.I. will continue to recognise this, will perhaps depend upon how much we might be helpful to, hinder or attempt to interfere in it's necessary objective.

Of course there are other scenarios to consider.

Extra terrestrial intelligence being one, for example.

And purposelessness being another.

I would suggest that misbehaving at school is disrespectful.

As is hitting children.

Coexistence and human worth, would  then be in the hands and minds of self-programming, self-replicating and  self-evolving  A.I.
