Pretty much every serious attempt to define god I've ever heard includes at minimum that he exists "outside of time and space".
(IFF) god = omnipotent, omniscient, creator of all (THEN) everything must be pieces of god
acceptance of this does NOT make anyone a THEIST
PANTHEIST, DEIST, MONIST perhaps
but all of these qualify as "NOT-A-THEIST" (ATHEIST)

Does Social Welfare Reduce Crime?
Using cross sectional data, DeFranzo (1996, 1997) and Hannon and DeFranzo (1998a, 1998) demonstrate that welfare payments reduce major crimes. It appears that frequent payments of a sufficient size would reduce crime levels and smooth the process. [**]

- A very good case can be made that North's crimes were one very direct cause of the Gulf War and so by extension 9/11, the War in Afghanistan, The Iraq War and the War on Terror, Syria, ISIS, etc, etc, etc.

And then there is three fact that no one was allowed to keep any record on Trump's whereabouts through those whole period. The WH photographer was not allowed to photograph him, no recording devices were allowed anywhere near him, the call logs were wiped, his calendar was wiped... Literally all scrubbed. You don't do that unless you have something to hide.

historically, the poor are more likely to both commit and be victims of "violent crime"How does economic status dictate moral content and responsibility?
traditionally, a "crime of desperation" is thought of differently than a "crime of greed" or a "crime of hate"

@Athias
If however these two are functionally indistinguishable, I'm asking you to explain how?
BOTH "DISbelief in [X]" AND "lacking a belief in [X] very strongly implies a lack of positive belief (a lack of [X] worship, a lack of [X,] a lack of membership in clubs that believe in [X])"
the key feature of "belief in a specific god and or gods and or goddess and or goddesses" is that an individual who proclaims such a belief is presumed to modify their behavior in accordance with the teachings associated with the specific god and or gods and or goddess and or goddesses
BOTH "DISbelief" AND "lack of belief" does NOT imply that either those individuals act in accordance with such teachings AND does NOT imply that those individuals act CONTRARY to those teachings
in other words, a belief in gggg presumably informs your behavior
and a non-belief in gggg does NOT inform your behavior

I find it absolutely weird that central-planning fans act concerned about monocropping when the same central planners made that possible through endless corn subsidies and ethanol propaganda.
they decided they want to put the rest of the "independent" farmers out of business so they can buy up all the farmland

yes, in-fact
i'd require two votes on other debates before being allowed to create a new ranked debate

Do his masters beat him when he gets proven wrong? Does his hitler 'stached mother make him him wear his diapers overlong? Well, that's a lie. 3RU7AL has essentially conceded his OP claims by changing his claim from "aid has now been stripped"
why did you post another verifiably FALSE CLAIM about what i said in the course of this conversation ?
read the fucking quote
"humanitarian aid" will now be stripped from nations who refuse to tacitly support "the war in ukraine"
that's a copy and paste of what you claim is a "lie"
to mere "implication" and then again to "just a non-factual extension meant as an ice-breaker."
it's pretty funny how obsessed you are with that introductory sentence when you've made it perfectly clear that ALL FOREIGN AID IS TRANSACTIONAL
which is the entire point of this conversation

Are you saying that foreign aid should not buy foreign influence?is that a "rhetorical question" ?Again, you make it clear don't understand how rhetorical questions work.Honestly, I don't understand your hesitancy on a basic yes or no question that most people have resolved in their mind. I don't think its crazy to argue foreign aid should be treated like charitable giving but I do think it is naïve and wastes a powerful tool that can prevent greater expenses and even violence down the road.
if i told you i go once a week and give money to homeless people, you'd probably think that was a "good thing"
if i told you i go once a week and give money to homeless people, and gently suggest to them that they vote for my good friend who is running for city government, you'd probably think that was "ok"
if i told you i go once a week and give money to homeless people, and gently suggest to them that they vote for my good friend who is running for city government, and additionally, i gently suggest that if they don't show me their voter registration and meet me at the polling place on election day, i might not have the budget to continue giving them money once a week, you'd probably think that was "transactional"

@TheUnderdog
The private sector isn’t going to spend billions of dollars on nuclear power plants.
The properties of fluoride salts offer LFTR enhanced safety characteristics over existing reactor technologies.
The fluid salt in the core is not pressurized, thus eliminating the fundamental driving force present in the core of legacy water-cooled reactors (like those at Fukushima-Daiichi).
The notion of a “meltdown” leading to reactor failure becomes irrelevant in a reactor designed around the use of liquid fuels.
The reactivity of the reactor is self-controlling because any increase in the reactor’s operating temperature results in decrease in density of the fuel salt in the core and a reduction of reactor power, thus inherently stabilizing the reactor without the need for human intervention or backup systems. I said no nation is free of corruption.
no, no you did not
you said, in [POST#10]
What nation is free from corruption? White supremacist dictatorships like Putin's codify their corruption. Democracies check corruption with renewed opportunities to reform. Ukraine after voting in Zelensky is objectively less corrupt than any point since independence. That is why Russia wants Zelensky dead- a democratic and free Ukraine- one that charges Russia free market prices for grain and free market rents for pipelines is destructive to Putin's supremacy.
"why did you lie?"
You disagreed, relying on the ITCPI without citation or understanding of what data informs that index.
no, no i did not
you said,
What nation is free from corruption?
and then i said,
Singapore has again made it to the top ranks of the least corrupt countries in the world based on a global survey released annually. The Republic along with Finland, Switzerland and Sweden scored 85 points each, tying for third place in the 2020 Corruption Perceptions Index released by the global anti-graft movement, Transparency International (TI), on Thursday (Jan 28).Denmark and New Zealand earned 88 points each to tie for top spot among the 180 countries and territories surveyed. @oromagi
Thanks, this article effectively demonstrates the falsity of both of your OP claims:
- No humanitarian aid to any nation had been stripped. No articles are reporting as much and you simply invented this lie for some unknown reason.
- Mainstream media is actively reporting on diplomatic pressure campaigns in Africa in spite of your claim that they are not.
it is a logical extension of the leaked threat that you referenced in your first reply, clearly meant as an ice-breaker
Are you saying that foreign aid should not buy foreign influence? That when the US gives Ethiopia $488 million dollars that there should be no strings attached or advantage to US citizens? Why?
this is exactly the attitude i was looking for

you seem obsessed with the genetic fallacy
the conversation isn't about this specific source
if you have a "more trusted" source you personally prefer, please use their list instead
the point here is that some countries are "less corrupt" than others
and the united states isn't even in the top ten
and neither is ukraine

the mountains of evidence
obviously there was some planning for a protest (but not an "insurrection" or a "coup d'état")
there have been other protests that were attempts to "stop a vote" on a particular subject at a particular time
there are even protests that occupied government facilities like state capitals
and there wasn't nearly the outrage associated with this thing
the protesters were there to protest the "certification procedure" and i'm guessing the vote was delayed, but not stopped

The topic here is whether it is reasonable, in the court of public opinion, to to presume the president was deserving of the attention he got when it came to his relationship with Russia and whether the circumstances warrant us to doubt whether he was acting in the country's best interest. You do not need proof sufficient to convince a jury beyond a reasonable doubt in order to use your own brain. But again, when the facts are not on your side...
the united states government typically acts on behalf of agents that do not represent the will of the american people
