@FaustianJustice
I think your understanding of what "big government" is would be somewhat biased.  Liberalism, even in "American Liberalism" searches for equality, and the only real apparatus to enforce that is government.
If they wanted ultimate equality, they would be socialists, since that would mean everyone gets paid the same.

It wasn't liberals or moderates that are against gay rights, abortion, legalization of the sex trade, etc etc etc.
Conservatives are slowly accepting gay rights, even Trump supports it.  Hillary 8 years ago was against homosexuality and Obama was once against it.  Liberals accept homosexuality, but only a few years before the conservatives did.  Now there is Linda Sarsour, a liberal calling for shariah law in the US, which doesn't just call gays names, but kills them for their sexuality.  Even if conservatives weren't accepting homosexuality any time soon, I'm not a one issue voter and I wouldn't care.

As for abortion, they ought to be against abortion/pro life because of the scientific proof that confirms that a fetus is a human being.

Prostitution can be regulated, but not full blown legal.  Prostitutes must be on 100% effective birth control(99.9999% is also fine, but nothing less).

Low skilled jobs can be taken by almost anybody.  If the jobs are high skilled jobs, like a doctor then we should let the immigrants in if they would do a better job.  Better doctors means better service.  If it's low skilled, then there are plenty of companies that are always hiring.  You said that you were a cab driver and a carpenter I think.  Your employer won't replace you with an immigrant unless you a bad employee, which I don't think you are.  Construction companies are pretty much always looking to hire more workers to complete more construction projects to sell.  They won't turn you down for an immigrant.  They would accept both of you.

@Death23
The policy is good for people who consume a lot of services, esp. if you aren't working
Most people are working.  The rich work pretty hard.  If you think owning a business is an easy way to get money, you should try it.

The policy has little impact on those who consume little services, and esp. bad if you're working
Why is it bad for the common worker?  If they don't threaten your job, they can keep their jobs?

Sometimes there are bona fide labor shortages and/or compelling needs for particular types of workers (e.g. tech workers, health care workers) but the objective necessity of the particular skills has zero impact.
The immigrants are willing to take the jobs that we need them to take, even if they are low skilled.  Low skilled ones can pick lettuce or can work at a construction site.  They aren't taking jobs.

I don't see any interest being furthered by this policy other than benefiting the rich at the expense of workers.
It benefits the rich and doesn't impact the average worker negatively.  If anything, the average worker gets more help getting projects done, so the worker (if they are a construction worker for example) can complete houses quicker because they have an extra teammate.  Both the rich and the poor benefit from letting people into the country under my immigration plan in the link above.

Veterans get a day, gays get a month.
-->
@secularmerlin
 The preabailing attitude is that being a veteran is honerable and being gay is perverted.
Most Americans support homosexuality according to Pew Research.

Also treating homosexuals with respect and even celebrating them does not in any way equate to disrespect to veterans.
If gays get a month and veterans get a day of official celebration, it would seem that being gay would be better then being a veteran.  This just isn't true.  Being LGBT is not an accomplishment.

Good. I'm glad you have been so lucky. Many are not.
Like those in Shariah law countries ruled under Islam.  Given that we're both atheists, we're probably against religious law, something that Linda Sarsour, a liberal supports.

A veteran receives respect and admiration every day of the year.
Not by everyone.  Some people don't like veterans.

By contrast people in the gay community are mocked and ridiculed in popular media and in real life. I am not making a claim about which individuals may or may not have suffered more in life but the simple fact of the matter is that veterans ARE celebrated all year long while homosexuals ate often the butt of cruel jokes and the targets of violence even during gay pride month.
The media treats gays pretty well, too well I may say.  If someone is openly anti gay, they get oppressed more in the US then if your gay.  I'm bi and I don't endure much oppression.

@Death23
And for those jobs that pay more than minimum wage ?
Since these tend to be more skilled jobs, I would rather have a skilled immigrant be a teacher, or a doctor, or a lawyer, then to have a less skilled native born person do the job.

 I live by San Francisco and drive cabs and work on houses.
I don't know if being a taxi driver pays min wage or not, but I think it does, although I might be wrong on this.  As for your other job, your labor costs won't go down.  It would mean there are more people helping you with the job, so you can construct more houses and can make more money then if the immigration rate gets slowed down.  Requirement 2 of my immigration plan states,

"Must have a steady, consistent job that benefits America and doesn’t take jobs from people already here.".

As long as they don't take your job, you'll be fine.  They would help you with your job of building houses instead of taking your job.  Construction companies need more workers.

We want people here who have useful and costly educations who can reduce prices for expensive services, esp. healthcare.
They can come here too.  If your a doctor, engineer, or lawyer, you would be encouraged to come to the US for work if you come here legally.  The process should be what the google doc says.

Only allow 100,000 arrivals per year. Select each arrival on the basis of English-speaking ability, capacity for gainful employment, understanding of American history & civic principles, and willingness to integrate instead of self-segregating.

The US accepts about 5 million immigrants per year.  100,000 is a huge cut back.

Utilize a combination of surveillance technology and physical barriers to ensure airtight border security. Immediately deport all border crossers.
What's wrong with a pathway to citizenship?

Ban the practice of applying for entry at the border. Require all applications to be filed through a U.S. embassy.
Why?

Ban the practice of applying for entry at the border. Require all applications to be filed through a U.S. embassy.
Why?

Don't actively seek to deport illegal immigrants already residing within the country, but don't provide them any pathway to a legal status either.
What do they get then?

@blamonkey
Sorry for taking so long, but I'm finally deciding to address your points after the headache I got with Ramshutu.  Here it goes:

Treatment =/= cure.
What's the difference?

Would people who try to treat their STDs be exempt from the tax?
Only those that succeed in curing/treating(I don't know the difference) their STDs get exempt from the tax.  An exception applies to HIV because you can't get treated of HIV yet.  Anyone with HIV would face something worse; castration, being necessary to prevent them from wanting to have sex.

What of the extreme environments in which people live? Florida, Arizona, Texas, and other states tend to have blisteringly hot temperatures and turbulent weather conditions.
They could tent in the shade.  It's cooler there.  Where this spot is is up to them to figure out.

Also, some municipalities banned sleeping in/camping in public. Additionally, so-called "anti-vagrancy" laws punish people who camp in public at an astonishing rate. Despite the Justice Department taking the official position that we should not criminalize homelessness through these ordinances, 10,000 citations were doled out in 2015
Do you know why sleeping on the street is punishable?

San Fransisco, because it offers homeless shelters to people, can still ban camping in public.
As long as the shelters don't cost any additional money, I'm fine with them using a shelter.  I don't want the government paying welfare payments to people who don't contribute as much to society as the rich do.  Any poor person that thinks the businessman has it easy should honestly try being a business man.  Any struggles the poor person puts up with in an effort to make a business, rich people also tend to endure.

The income earned by people on minimum wage will inevitably differ from what is shown in that link. It assumes that people on the minimum wage work 12 hours a day, or 84 hours per week.
That's if the poor person chooses the hardest option.  There are easier options that they can do, like what I call, "Weekend break option 2" where only 243 days are worked per year, or about 5 days a week with a 3 week vacation, like everyone else.  Under this model, they still get over $6000 a year once all other significant expenses are paid(food, insurance, taxes).  This money can be used for investment.

The average amount of hours worked per week is about 44-47 hours (5)
This is because if companies want to make a worker work more then they have to pay overtime.(https://www.oshaeducationcenter.com/articles/employee-overtime/). Cutting this regulation and bumping the overtime threshold to 60 hours a week (12 hours on, 12 hours off) helps enable poor people to get ahead in American society as the spreadsheet confirms.

So, teenagers who get pregnant would pay the tax as well?
They or their parents would.

Also, a ring and a photo can be faked. A marriage certificate is easy to lose, so it is possible for a lot of people to show up with no documentation of a marriage.
It's hard to fake a ring or photo on the spot.  A ring is very expensive, and most people who are in the situation have no idea of the tax, so the odds of them buying a ring just to show that that they are, "married" is very low, most people don't have that wit on them, even if the ring is cheaper.  I could make the unintended pregnancy tax $500 instead so people aren't likely to spend $1000 to save $500.

The cost of having a birth is already outrageous. The delivery, epidural, and caring for the newborn child could cost over $15,000 if done at a hospital (2).
Insurance can cover these costs and the sheet shows how poor people can afford health insurance.

I am not suggesting that Budweiser is going to go bankrupt, but we probably will face budget crunches in the future if alcohol is one of the main drivers of the budget.
Good point.  Currently, the alcohol tax is pretty low, around 3 cents per beer I think, although I'm not sure.  Doubling this small tax won't be very noticeable.

People don't like paying more money for things, so they will naturally buy from the multitude of cars with better fuel economies.
Some people would barely notice the 30 cent tax price; currently gas is taxed at around 20 cents per gallon.  A 10 cent increase won't scare away too many drivers.

The International Energy Agency forecasts that by 2030, electric automobile purchases would rise to 125 million, which is much more then the current electric fleet today which only totals 3 million
That's in 2030, 10 years from now.  In the meantime, gas can be taxed.  When it's 2030, there would be about 320 million cars on the road, so there would still be a majority of cars still using gasoline.  Gas tax can increase gradually as the percentage of gas users goes down so it doesn't scare away too many people from using gas.

I have little sympathy for rapists, but they still have their 8th amendment rights which prevents the state from inflicting cruel and unusual punishment on them.
For the crime that they did to the rape victim, the punishment of temporary slavery is not too cruel.  It also isn't unusual, since the 13th amendment allows slavery if punished for a crime.

What would this slave work entail?
I would say construction work managed by construction workers and prison guards seems like something that can be done.  It's ultimately up to the prisons to decide what work they need for their community.

Sorry for not getting back to you, but I've been busy with some other people who accuse me of being a troll.

The allergy tax is designed so people with allergies have incentive to treat them, just like STDs.  This eliminates allergies within society if everyone gets their allergies treated.  I have an allergy so when I'm old enough, I can get my allergy treated and avoid the tax.

Also, if we only garner 2 trillion dollars, it would be a major decrease from previous years when it was over $3 trillion dollars (1).
In the years before 2023, we get $3.8 trillion.  This is a slight increase with no income tax.

Finally, arguments instead of insults and calling me a troll, which I'm not.

Living in a tent requires external sanitation for peeing, pooping and cleaning yourself, places for cleaning and washing clothes.
Peeing and pooping can be done in other buildings.  Showering can be done in another neighbor's house in a mutually agreed way (lets say the shower is rented once a day at $30 a month).  Cleaning clothes can be done at a laundromat.

Equipment and hardware for cooking food
They can eat food that requires no cooking, like sandwiches or McDonalds.

electricity for light
They can use a phone for light.  It can be charged in the store that they work.

They are difficult to secure, and thus are easy to rob or invade.
Who would want to rob a poor person?  A poor person has like nothing that is worth robbing.  Since things are much cheaper then if they rented a place out, people would have less incentive to rob.  People only rob when they have to for the most part.

Anywhere where there is a large collection of people living in temporary accommodating like tents, there are invariably major health issues, issues with crime, robbery, rape
There wouldn't be cities of tents.  If someone works at McDonalds, there may be 2 tents next to McDonalds and getting to McDonalds would be easy if the tent is right next to the store.  If someone works at Stop and Shop, more tents would be necessary, but nowhere near a city of tents.  Maybe 7 to 10 tents would be necessary.

Given that you also noted that individuals would give up their cars necessitating walking to their place of employment.
If they live within seeing distance of their store, then they don't need cars.

will eat a well balanced diet complete with a full spectrum of nutrients required to maintain their health by “eating sandwiches”.
In their sandwiches, they can get protein from Ham or Turkey, whole grains in the bread, they can eat a banana for fruit and carrots for their vegetables.  All of these things are cheap and nutritious.

Naively assertion “people can give up their children”, or “people will work to pay this tax”, or “people can still become rich”, is grotesquely ignorant and based on your own lack of any apparent qualified knowledge of the real world.
What's wrong with sending their kids to a better life in the long term?  People would adopt the kids with frequent advertising.

yet the amount of federal income will be roughly the same. You also argue that concurrently welfare programs will be removes
Under ASTAP, the federal revenue would skyrocket and the burden of taxes gets drastically reduced to sales taxes and some others.

the poor will pay a far high percentage of their salary to the government then the poor.
How?

As there must necessarily be a higher burden on the poor than the rich: the rich will get substantially and massively richer while the poor will languish.
The rich pay more then the poor through means other then the income tax.

 that working over a summer is sufficient experience of major long term employment, the stress and pressures of managing your own budget and maintaining yourself.
Most people work partly over the summer.  The poor aren't above everyone else.

The same way you cannot be pathetically dumb enough to believe your experience of spending 2 days in a tent is sufficient experience to determine that it could be used as a permanent place of residence.
This part has been edited out although I don't see what's wrong with it.

The same way that you suggesting that families simply give up their children for adoption cannot be the product of an honestly believed rational thought.
The parent ought to want what's best for their kid and if that means adoption then so be it.

The rest is poor conduct.

Repeoductice Maintence makes no sense at all.
Designed to only allow rich, competent people to reproduce so eventually, we get rid of the incompetent and replace them with the compitent.  In the meantime, since poor people benefit more from children grants, this causes American society to become dumber and poorer since less rich people are reproducing and more poor people are.

If tax burden is significantly higher for those earning less than 31k, you will destroy the US economy.
They get more revenue under my plan then before.

Again - disproportionate targeting of the poor and policie that enshrine wealth inequality will set the US up for a worker revolution.
The tax policy does not target the poor more then the rich.  Often, it does the opposite.  There is just no income tax involved.

I suspect because you do not work.
