Chess - Some defense openings and offense openings which computer struggles to play against
-->
@AustinL0926
I also like stonewall, but I find it a bit difficult to play sometimes.

Just to be clear, I play against computer which is programmed to have certain patterns of moves repeating in almost every game. Its not like human player who acts in a less predictable manner, even on hardest difficulty which is 2100 elo or at least so it says but I am not sure how they meassure computer's elo.

@AustinL0926
The "offensive opening" is basically a modified Bishop's Opening
I actually copied it from one of Carlsen's matches. Its an early game attack which forces opponent to build defense early, as bishop + knight attack on f7 must be countered somehow, especially when my other pieces are moving to attack around there as well.

putting the knight on f3 is a poor choice, since it gets in the fianchettoed bishop's way
I could agree that knight might be better on e2, but I usually put it in f3 to bait an attack on it, as computer always feels the need to attack knight on f3 for some reason, either with pawn or bishop. This essentially sometimes lets me trick a computer, because when he attacks my knight with pawn, all he does is allow me to not only break through his pawns, but even my own pawns that get in the way are removed. Its true that you can play knight on e2 instead of f3, but then I still have to play the other knight on d2 then to f3, because thats how I bait an attack on it.

An atheist that says this phrase after someone sneezes, is it a contradiction to that atheist's reality?

Chess - Some defense openings and offense openings which computer struggles to play against
So after over 100 games against computer on hardest available difficulty, I finally found out about some openings which computer cant counter easily.

Defensive opening

So you start with playing g3, then Bg2.

After that, play e3, and then d3.

Then you play Nf3.

Then do castling.

Then play Nc3.

Basically, your goal is to move both knights to king's side of the board, so your next move should be Nc3 to Ne2.

Also, put as much pieces as you can to king's side of the field, so you put both attack and defense on one side.

Offense opening

This opening focuses on fast early attack.

So you go e4, then Bc4, then d3.

Then you play Nf3 and maybe do castling.

Then play Nc3, then move that knight to Ne2.

Try placing other bishop on e3.

This way, you have everything available for attack, as your bishop and knight can both attack opponent on f7 space where his king is.

In this case too, you want to place as much pieces as possible on one side, you also want to trade pieces and attack opponent's knights with your bishop so they cant move, such as playing Bb5 when opponent's knight is on c6.

Why draconian punishments are kinda justified in the justice system
If you think about it, there are only 3 options:

1. Punish criminal less than the harm he has done

2. Punish criminal equally to the harm he has done

3. Punish criminal more than the harm he has done.

If you punish criminal less than the harm he has done, then that means his victim got punished more than he did.

If you punish criminal equally to the harm he has done, then both victim and criminal are punished equally.

Only 3 ensures that criminal gets punished more than the victim, which seems that it does justice towards victim, as it shouldnt happen that victim suffers as much as criminal but rather criminal should suffer more.

Its okay if he doesnt accept, but its obvious there is some heat between us and RM is a smart man ;) and others may not see it at first, but the rap battle is the best way to solve whats happening between us.

So I propose

You're being sarcastic but he probably hasn't.
Even I heard those questions over 100 times. In fact, one of the most common questions for anarch is how to keep order in society. The fact that you think he, professor of philosophy, never heard that question before and is now unable to answer it, just tells me that you are trolling here.

Also, guys, you really shouldnt let RM debate the professor, as he is literally just gonna spam troll attacks on him such as when he claimed that living with polar bear is real anarchy. So please, dont embarrass the site and send someone else to debate the professor, I am thinking someone like Savant or whiteflame, someone calm.

What is your favorite video game?
-->
@JoeBob
I know you asked for one, but I dont have just one.

My favorite offline video games are:

1. Vampire - The Masquerade Bloodlines

I mentioned this one before, but I do hold view that it is one of the most perfect games ever made, as you get many guns to use, many types of weapons, you can even complete the game with fists alone. Then there are vampire powers which are just great to observe, and the game itself has what I consider to be a very interesting story.

2. Fable the lost chapters

Pretty much the best game in Fable series, and almost anyone who plays it thinks its good, despite being an old game.

3. Age of mythology

A strategy game with soldiers, beasts, dragons, creatures, titans.... not many strategy games can beat that.

4. Star Wars Jedi Academy

An old game with beautiful lightsaber combat.

5. Dishonored

I like the combat system in this game, and powers too are somewhat good

6. Star wars battlefront 2

I only played the old battlefront 2, but the new version which came out with improved graphics is probably good too.

7. Classical games such as Spiderman, Batman...

I really liked a lot of these games, even tho I kinda forgot how they are originally called.

As for online games, I would say:

1. Smite

The game which balances out tactics with action combat, plus many characters in the game with different powers. So I have spent 300 hours in this game, according to Steam. Its a free to play game, and you can even unlock any God you want for free, as you obtain favor by playing games and you can either get God by using 5500 favor, which is bad option, as you can instead rent a God for 3 days using 300 favor, which is much better as renting lets you play with any God you want very quickly. Just after you had your fun with one God and earned 300 or more favor, then rent another using 300 favor and play with him until you earn another 300 favor, which is just few games usually. Plus the game itself gives you free favor every day, and you get lots of favor by just leveling up your profile or completing tutorial. Its one of those online games which is truly free to play.

2. League of legends

Somewhat inferior to Smite in graphics, but similar in gameplay and I would say fun to play even tho I am not playing it right now, as I just have Smite installed.

3. Vampire - Bloodhunt

Its one of those battle royale games, but sadly I dont meet minimum requirements to play it on PC, however it seems very good.

4. Yugioh dueling nexus

I like to play yugioh sometimes, and dueling nexus is basically a site for quick online duels.

As for smartphone games,

1. Eternal Senia

A very simple game which is role playing game but also action as you have to react and press buttons quickly.

As for PS1, PS2, PS3...games

I would say games like God of War, Final Fantasy, as they seem great on emulators.

As for nintendo...

Games like Yugioh world championship 2011 are some I played. I never had nintendo, but I did use emulator to play games from nintendo.

I think most here have experienced what government does, so I dont see how they could be wrong about their experience. However, your example of lawlessness is equal to cherry picking. For example if I cherry picked North Korea or Russia as an examples of failed government where you clearly wouldnt wanna live, then would that convince you that government is bad?

Whatever you say, dogfuckers won't be well loved in Ancap world even though it will be legal
The only reason why people think that sex with animals is wrong is due to government brainwashing them into thinking that. As really, they are slaughtering animals, shooting them for fun, running them over with cars and leaving them on the road to die, castrating animals...ect. And these people were brainwashed to think that sex with animals is wrong when they do far worse things to animals and never even apologize for it.

Tip from one of the lowest win rate debaters of the sites existence.
You dont have to take a tip from me, but as it stands in this forum section, you are being beaten very badly and I was just trying to help you not embarrass yourself any further, but it seems that you went for your complete embarrassment anyway, and even do personal irrelevant attack on the one giving you good tips about how to save yourself here.

Sometimes they're trying to ignore or pus you off of a raw truth. In this case repackaging and delivering it over and over is the right strategy.
Okay, if you think that repeating a poor and defeated argument makes your position stronger, then sure, go ahead and keep repeating it.

VTL Vader

Unless someone has some clue or something which changes things, this is our best bet from what I am seeing, and I am aware that town needs to get it right twice in a row to win, but it doesnt get much better than this since I have strong belief that Austin isnt scum, which leaves only Vader and Barney, and we must start from somewhere. At this point, nothing is certain, and every move is risky, but its the risk we have to make to progress the game.

Also, since we are at 4 - 2,

If we no lynch, we will be at 3 - 2, and scum will most likely take out whiteflame to try to gain influence over remaining town players and maybe even make a mislynch, so if we do a no lynch, we will just be operating with less town power, which might make us vunerable as it only takes 1 town player to be tricked for scum to win if we do no lynch, and there will be less town players next dp.
Created:

The Heroes of Olympus Mafia DP3
Unless there is some role which will give us additional information next dp, there is no point in no lynch.

I guess if lynch targets dont change, then it makes no difference if we lynch them this dp or next dp. The only difference will be that obvious town player dies, as scum wont kill town players who are suspected or non-confirmed, but at this point scum will target most obvious town player, so I assume they will target whiteflame.

As for not giving GP the win, yes, I can see that we can deny him of win if we lynch now.

So unless someone provides an information about what more will we get if we do a no lynch, maybe some useful role that will provide information next dp, then it really makes no difference if lynch happens now or next dp.

@FLRW
If USA loses, it wont be because China and Russia were smarter, but because Americans elect defensive idiots such as Trump. If you look at Trump's foreign policy plans, they always include giving Russia, China and North Korea exactly what they want, like signing peace in Ukraine by giving Russia territory, basically rewarding Russia instead of punishing it.

USA has come from a long way of destroying its enemies, like it destroyed Axis in WW2, it destroyed Soviet Union which was far greater and more powerful than Russia is today. USA did that not by being peaceful and giving enemies territory, but by attacking them from all angles, both turning their own people against them, and preventing them from spreading such as by destroying Soviets in Afghanistan and South Korea. If USA was seeking peaceful solutions at that time, then today we would have Soviet Union controlling the world and USA would be insignificant on a world scale. So from practical experience, USA must stick to successful strategies of the past and not fall victim of peaceful mentality which would help Russia. When an enemy attacks your allies, thats really not a time to be peaceful unless you want to help the enemy.

Israel's Lavender AI

@WyIted
Prior to any wartime propaganda happening
Hamas and Israel were always at war, and Israel was attacking Palestine for over 70 years.

What you are doing is just blindly trusting whatever Israel says, when Israel has every interest to lie as much as possible.

I obviously dont think that Hamas are good guys, but that doesnt lead me to conclusion that Israel are good guys, as Israel has a history of bombing civilian targets and has even admitted to "accidentally" bombing food trucks of international organizations.

Buddy, I never claimed this game is gonna make anyone an expert at battles, its just kinda fun to play. But if you want experience of battles, you have to read books written by people who were in hardest battles and won, or just use AI to give you quick main points of those books. For example, you can just keep asking AI "What are some other main points of that book?" until it lists you plenty of points, then you write them down.

How do you feel about Vader?
This is very difficult, but I think we are supposed to later lynch the least fitting role out of the 3 I mentioned before.

So Vader, Barney, and Austin - at this point I am very certain there are 2 scums there.

I dont buy that you are scum who turned innocent, so I pretty much will play the safest option and conclude that you are town.

So I think scum team is probably Vader and Barney, or if only one of them is scum, then Austin would have to be scum.

But I dont see Austin as scum, since he seems very calm where as a scum he is usually acting much differently and far from calm.

Still, I am in favor of no lynch this dp, but I think we have clear scum team and they made a clear mistake of working together openly from the start, and I somehow dont see why would Vader if he is town follow Barney, and also, why would Barney if he is town follow Vader.

Usually, buddying is only supposed to happen with confirmed town player, but in this case, buddying happened between two players who neither was confirmed town at any point, and had nothing in common, and their buddying only makes sense if they are both scum.

So I am certain Vader is the most logical lynch, then Barney, as I find 1x Cop to be something like a fake claim and it is kinda counter-claimed by my item ability, so I really dont see why would there be two 1x Cop abilities in the game.

I started playing HOI4
So I got the game as I was recommended to get it, and of course it offers you to play as many sides. I admit, I was tempted to pick Japan, but I figured for a first play its best that I play as a main character, so I picked to play as Hitler.

Right after game starts, there are so many buttons and its a bit difficult to find whats what until you get used to it.

Right away, I started building military, air force, bombers, tanks, ships...

I am still not sure how resources in game work, but apparently, game lets you pick to build military factories or civilian factories on each territory, but I built mostly military factories.

I kinda dislike the fact that it takes such a long time to declare war, but I guess thats realistic as it takes time to convince the public and build up justifications for war.

For a first time playing, the game is very confusing as it bombards you with too many buttons to click on, and it takes a long time to click on each to see what each does.

But so far it seems simple: build strong military, declare war, and conquer.

I am not sure how beneficial it is to build bombers so early in the game, as I think I have more bomber planes productions lined up than I have for anything else.

However, I like the game so far as despite being complicated, it also has simple elements to it and I dont think I can fail if I just focus on military.
