Plenty? Name 5 comparable countries (industrialized with advanced economies) that have more homicides than the U.S.
Name 5 comparable countries (industrialized with advanced economies) that surpass the USA in number of drugs being given to children.

Why are you comparing US to industrialized countries with advanced economies?

What makes advances economies different?

Are you saying that poverty contributes to murder rates?

Therefore, USA, having the most poverty among developed economies, would also have most murder?

Its like the puzzle solved itself.

What about student loan debt and the high cost of homes? Is that having more of an effect in delaying young people from starting a family?
Irrelevant to topic.
The economy is connected. Wasting food on prisoners reduces the amount of food available to others. Less food means food is more expensive. Therefore, it is harder to even repay the loan. Plus, since everyone needs food including landlord, the price of everything goes up when food price goes up.

Food is a limited source. It is not unlimited. Not even close to it.

The birth rates are down. One reason for that is that having children is expensive.

7 out of 8 homicides are committed with a gun
Remove guns, and they will be committed with a knife or a car or a bomb.

So when Republicans say that violent crime is way up in this country because of liberal policies they are lying? The murder rate really hasn’t changed?
Ok, I dont know what kind of a disney world "everyone be labeled" series do you live in, but disproving that random republican has nothing to do with my arguments.

Plus, violent crime isnt just murder. It also includes rape. Murder rate is the same. The rape rate has increased significantly.

As I said, the homicide rate is same as it was in 1950, despite number of guns being doubled since then.

As I pointed out, Mexico has less guns than USA, but much more homicide.

Plenty of other countries have less guns, but more homicides than USA.

Also, the USA is a country where psychiatric drugs are given to children as young as 4 year old. Those psychiatric drugs have "suicidal thoughts" as side effect.

So the fact that the rate of mental illnesses in USA increases every year thanks to the farmaceutic overlords, is that also the fault of guns?

The rate doesnt change based on an increase in total population.

The rate is a number per 100,000 population.

It is counted that way when you have 340 million and also when you have 150 million.

@Lemming
From what I am reading there, its not the death penalty that costs money, but all the lawyers trying to prevent it and turn it into life sentence is what costs money. Plus, choosing a 70,000$ lethal injection instead of a 3$ bullet might have had an impact too.

The cost of just having a prisoner in prison is:
"States spent an average of $45,771 per prisoner for the year."

In 10 years, that is 450k. In 20 years, that is 900k. In 40 years, thats 1.8 million. In 60 years, that is 2.7 million dollars.

When we add to that the cost of trial, which is about 100,000, we get 2.8 million.

Therefore, death penalty is better. Just set a time limit for trial so that the trial cannot last for 20 years, and choose bullets over injection, and remove the option that death penalty can be turned into life sentence and it will be fixed. The price will be "trial + bullets".

All you have to do is look at the rest of the world. In places with less guns there is less murder and suicides.
Like in Mexico?

And how come the USA has the same homicide rate as it did in 1950, when in 1950 there were less guns? Hmmmm 🤔

That is simply not true. The bullets cost 2-3 $, for example.

The amount of food being saved is higher than the amount of food being spent.

If you at any point condone the forced ending of someone's life, by definition you're not pro life.
No. It was already explained to you a couple of times that pro life = increase life. You rejected my definition and made up your own definition of "pro life", which is a definition that is impossible to be satisfied by anyone. Therefore, if you reject my definitions, you cannot refute my standpoint and there is nothing to argue about.

Why are you only concerned about murder?
Why are you only concerned about gun deaths?

So people who die by suicide or accident
Accident, suicide... compare it as total and not just "gun related deaths". You need to actually show that suicides, homicides and accidents go down when there is less guns.

What is so hard to understand about this?

I'm not arguing to spare the murderer.  I'm asking you to explain how you're pro life but also pro killing a human being. It seems like you're more concerned about the timing of killing a human rather than the sanctity of life is all. I'm trying to find your logic, I really hope it's more than "a murderer consumes resources that can be used for better people, ergo murderers deserve to die."
I have already explained to you a few times that being pro life means to increase life, and that killing a killer increases life. I dont see whats so hard to understand. Unless you meant that "pro life" means killing good citizens so that murderers can live?

This isn’t North Korea dummy. We have plenty of food in this country.
No. You have a lack of food to the point where some couples are refusing to have children because food is expensive.
That might give you a clue about what "limited resource" means. It is the opposite of "unlimited resource".

In either case, though, you're making a decision to end someone's life.
Ending a murderer's life so that good citizens may live.

It's about investment in the murderer.
By giving to the murderer, you are taking away from the good citizens. By feeding a murderer, you are denying the food to the good citizens. Hence, you have less good citizens and less life, since good citizens are the ones producing more life.

A pro life position is NEITHER can be killed
No. That is not Pro life. That is anti life. That is an impossible position to hold, since by sparing a murderer you are killing good citizens.

So some lives, human lives, are worth inherently more or less than other lives.
The murderer spending life in prison likely wont reproduce and wont even work to create the means for life. Good citizen will reproduce and will work, as he is not in prison. Plus, he will be there for his children. So its about the amount of life being produced and saved, really.

Its like the choice: if you have enough food to feed just one more person, will you feed the murderer or the good citizen who works and reproduces?

It is better by all means to invest resources into good citizens.

I dont even watch Fox News. I actually prefer Sky News Australia for their comedy about Biden.

My source of news is the internet, and not just one specific TV channel. In fact, anyone who gets information from just one source is likely to be lacking a lot of knowledge.

When CNN started their daily anti-Trump campaign, thats when I realized that CNN is obviously someone's puppet. Before that, I thought they were somewhat independent.

I still get some news from CNN, but only to get the idea of what Biden supporters think.

While I dont support sending young people to life in prison, this case would have me support the death penalty instead.

The guy is obviously mentally ill. Holding him in prison where other prisoners will beat him or rape him for the rest of his life is in itself a bad idea. Death penalty would actually be less bad for him.

Here's an updated list of CNN journalists who have been fired or had their shows canceled in recent years:
  1. Donna Brazile - Fired in 2016 as a contributor after leaked emails suggested she leaked debate questions to the Clinton campaign.
  2. Jeffrey Lord - Fired in 2017 as a pro-Trump commentator after tweeting "Sieg Heil!" in response to a tweet from a liberal activist.
  3. Reza Aslan - Fired in 2017 as a host and commentator after calling President Trump a "piece of shit" on Twitter.
  4. Marc Lamont Hill - Fired in 2018 as a commentator and host after giving a speech at the United Nations in which he called for a "free Palestine from the river to the sea," which was seen as promoting the elimination of Israel.
  5. Rick Santorum - Fired in 2021 as a political commentator after making controversial comments about Native American culture during a speech.
  6. Brian Stelter - Had his show "Reliable Sources" canceled in 2022 after six years on the air.
  7. Thomas Frank - Resigned from CNN in 2017 after his story on the investigation into a Russian investment fund and alleged ties to President Trump's campaign was retracted.
  8. Eric Lichtblau - Was asked to resign from CNN in 2017 after his involvement in the retracted story related to the investigation into a Russian investment fund and alleged ties to President Trump's campaign.
  9. Lex Haris - Was asked to resign from CNN in 2017 after his involvement in the retracted story related to the investigation into a Russian investment fund and alleged ties to President Trump's campaign.
It's worth noting that this is not an exhaustive list, and there may be other cases of CNN journalists who have been fired or had their shows canceled that are not widely known or reported.
Thats a good list. So CNN fires its own reporters for doing what they are instructed to do: exaggerate and rant about Trump and Russia.

Here are ten examples of fake media coverage related to the Trump-Russia story that were proven as bullshit.
  1. The report by the Crowdstrike cybersecurity firm that blamed Russia for hacking the Democratic National Committee was questioned by several cybersecurity experts.
  2. The false claim that the Trump campaign had secretly set up a backchannel to communicate with Russia through a Russian bank.
  3. The false claim that a Russian bank had sent a suspicious communication to a computer server in the Trump Tower.
  4. The false claim that the Trump campaign had changed the Republican Party's platform to be more favorable to Russia.
  5. The false claim that former Trump lawyer Michael Cohen had traveled to Prague to meet with Russian officials.
  6. The false claim that former Trump campaign adviser Carter Page had met with senior Russian officials during a July 2016 trip to Moscow.
  7. The false claim that former Trump campaign adviser Paul Manafort had met with WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange at the Ecuadorian embassy in London.
  8. The false claim that former Trump adviser Roger Stone had advance knowledge of the release of stolen Democratic emails by WikiLeaks.
  9. The false claim that President Trump's former personal lawyer, Michael Cohen, had provided evidence to the special counsel's office that President Trump had prior knowledge of the Trump Tower meeting between campaign officials and Russians.
  10. The BuzzFeed report that claimed President Trump had directed Michael Cohen to lie to Congress, which was later disputed by the special counsel's office.
Yeah, apparently, spreading misinformation is how they profit.

But that aside, what you're talking about still had nothing to do with it. Opinions are one thing, what Fox did was fire someone for reporting an objective fact. These are not the same thing, not even close.
Yes. "hiring liars" is not same as "firing those who tell the truth". However, the result of both is the same. Therefore, one is as bad as  the other.

It's not amazing. When you live in the real world and understand basic logic and critical thinking, the conclusions are pretty clear.
Yes. The clear conclusion in the real world is that you have to be a liar to work for CNN.

Let me guess, you believe that because Fox News told you so?
No. I already said why I believe so in my previous comment:
"Surely then it is amazing how every CNN employee has the same opinion on Russia and Trump, and how every CNN report about those two aims to discredit those two."

Hiding facts is also a form of lying and deception. That is the favorite tool of CNN, along with exaggarated reports on if Trump said something mean to them during his presidency.

So when CNN hires people who want to create a wrong opinion about Trump and Russia, and hide the fact that Ukraine is a corrupt country fighting a suicidal war, and that Biden started another cold war and brought back 1970s, you say that is not as bad as Fox.

So you dont oppose to lies, but you oppose to how lies are presented.

Usually, I prefer facts over CNN rants and exaggerations. CNN was actually the one to support the war in Iraq. Now they are supporting the war in Ukraine by feeding false exaggerated reports on the battlefield.

So therefore, CNN is at least as bad as Fox.

@Steven

Stop it!. You are now telling me that the "servants" of and neither  god himself couldn't keep an eye on the comings and goings in his own house?
Several options:
1) God didnt want to prevent it so that good people on Earth could see evil, but still choose good.
2) God couldnt prevent it

The first option seems most likely, but the other is not exactly to be excluded. After all, there was a battle in the heaven between God and the devil. The very idea that there was a battle shows that devil has powers too. Not equal to God, but certainly not ignorable.

"And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,
8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.
9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.
11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death"

"Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time."

And you seem to be telling me that god chooses what he will create evil
What I told you was: "create evil" isnt equal to "create all evil".

God punishes evil people with evil, rewards good people with good. And that is good.

So god can't tell the difference between the weeds and wheat?
The weeds are evil people. The wheat are good people. God's goal is for people to come to him willingly, after they see evil but choose good. If they saw only good and knew only good, it wouldnt be the choice. In the same way, if they knew only evil and did evil, it wouldnt be their choice since they wouldnt even know that good exists.

Your question is also: Why doesnt God simply put good people in heaven immediatelly?

Good people have to earn their payment by choosing good over evil. That is God's will. If good people didnt know evil, then that would disrupt God's plan.

God is not your servant. Rather, you are his. Therefore, you must serve God by choosing good over evil in a place where both good and evil exist and where you are aware of both.

Though a political culture isn’t stable when it’s based on conquest, hence the rebels.
Historically, military conquests were successful a few times with the help of religion. I could mention islam as the example.

Of course, the greatest conquest was the religious conqest, not military conquest.

Military conquest by itself, even if followed by economical improvement, has a high rate of failure.

Even Rome, the one who brought civilization and technology, collapsed.

Further to read about how God didnt create evil people:

John 8 says:
"42 Jesus said to them, “If God were your Father, you would love me, for I have come here from God. I have not come on my own; God sent me. 43 Why is my language not clear to you? Because you are unable to hear what I say. 44 You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies. 45 Yet because I tell the truth, you do not believe me! 46 Can any of you prove me guilty of sin? If I am telling the truth, why don’t you believe me? 47 Whoever belongs to God hears what God says. The reason you do not hear is that you do not belong to God.

No. "Create evil" is not the same as "create all evil". Obviously, God created an evil place such as hell to be home for criminals.

Read Matthew 13:24-32
"The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field. But while everyone was sleeping, his enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat, and went away. When the wheat sprouted and formed heads, then the weeds also appeared. The owner’s servants came to him and said, ‘Sir, didn’t you sow good seed in your field? Where then did the weeds come from?’ “‘An enemy did this,’ he replied.
“The servants asked him, ‘Do you want us to go and pull them up?’ “‘No,’ he answered, ‘because while you are pulling the weeds, you may uproot the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest. At that time I will tell the harvesters: First collect the weeds and tie them in bundles to be burned; then gather the wheat and bring it into my barn."

Matthew 13:38
"The field is the world, and the good seed stands for the people of the kingdom. The weeds are the people of the evil one".

If your solution to save the planet is to kill humans, then surely it is better to kill criminals, abortionists and eldery rather than innocent children who didnt even pollute the Earth.

I assume you would argue for destruction of hospitals to kill even more humans to save the planet.

Also, possibly more wars?

Secret sterilization by vaccine?

Surely you have plenty of options.

You say that abortion is good, so I assume you support forced abortions. They are more effective at reducing population than voluntary abortions.

So forced abortions it is?

And since you hate the humans so much for cutting down a few trees, maybe do something that actually helps saving trees, like a ban on cutting trees? Death penalty for cutting down trees? Surely that will save those poor trees better than abortion will.

The Bible tells us she is the first example of human cloning.
Well, thank you for pointing out that Bible is scientifically accurate and ahead of human science by at least 4000 years.

She was created genetically male, and yet trans-formed into woman.
The male is someone who has a penis and an ability of sperm production and an ability to make a female pregnant by unity. The first woman had none of that. Unless you claim that rib bone has those things, which would be a denial of reality on your part.

Further, genes dont make something male or female. In order to be a male, you need to be able to make a female pregnant. The genes by themselves have no such ability.

Further, "woman being created from man's rib" is obviously not equal to "man cutting off his penis, pretending to be female despite not having reproduction abilities of a female". In the first case, man remained a man. In the latter case, the man got castrated and now is not male or female anymore.

Are you also defending this transsexual Pastor?
No. Transexuality is against Christian teachings. While I do believe that God forgives sins based on person's prayer and good actions, promoting transexuality in church breaks multiple commands in the Bible.

From the more obvious ones,
like "man will not wear woman's clothes", "God created man and woman from the start"

to a more complicated ones,
like "multiply", "put respected people to be priests", "do not spill seed", "Do not separate what God united"..

Basically, the entire Bible points to unity between a man and a woman. If a man is not allowed to wear woman's clothes, that tells us what God thinks about transexuals.

"Don't forget it was Jesus' decision to die."
"So Jesus wasn't sent to die by god then?"

God wanted to make his plan happen. Jesus, the Son of God, agreed to obey God in order to make God's plan happen.

If Jesus refused to obey God, then Jesus would save himself from pain but God's plan wouldnt be realized and Christianity would never exist as a religion with billions of followers.
