@Owen_T
I have read plenty of books in my life, but only few were actually good and worthy of reading. Other people will just recommend you boring books, but I will recommend you books that are actually fun:
1. White Fang (by Jack London)
Jack London is one of the best writers in history, and White Fang is his greatest work.
It tells a story from a perspective of an animal, all the cruelty of life, all the little joys and all the injustice.
It talks of forming and breaking bonds, of allies turning into enemies, of people being conditioned into violence.
2. Harry Potter series
If you havent read Harry Potter books, it is highly recommended that you do. They are one of the best series ever written.
3. "Native son" and "Black boy" by Richard Wright
Books about the struggle of black person in society dominated by abuse and injustice based on race.

Luckily, most trump voters know he isn't smart, but he got the job done
Trump got the job done? Only if getting the job done means almost causing civil war, lying endlessly and ruining economy.

Almost everyone already breaks the speed limit.
I just watch society destroy itself with its own innovations. Humans are so retarded that the more technology advances, the worse the life gets.

Would you like people to like the rest of you and just reject your circumcised dick?
My goal isnt really for people to like me.
If I wanted for people to like me, then I think I would be living a different lifestyle. As it stands right now most people hate me.

Yes.
I guess some of us exist to be rejected by most people. I cant really say that its fun life.

I'm for just abolishing the entire monetary prison system altogether. We never needed currency, just obviously the resources.
Yes. Money is the source of many evils.
It enables some to be very rich, which then makes some other very poor. There is enough resources for all to have enough, but when greed appears, then some take too much so others cant get enough.

Of course parents indoctrinate, but they are on average more trustworthy than governments
Thats a lie.
Parents aren't legally entitled to steal by the virtue of being parents
Thats a lie.
As far as I can tell the student culture and staff incompetence of state run schools in the USA have been the largest manufacturer of stupid people in history
Thats a lie.
I think peasant children picking vegetables in a 12th century field probably had more useful ideas and less corrosive musings than what most young Americans experience in public school.
Thats a lie.

corruption and indoctrination.
Unlike all the parents who practice corruption and indoctrination.
You cannot indoctrinate smart people, and stupid people are going to be indoctrinated by someone anyway. Stupid people cant even think in premises.

"The youth in Japan has been experiencing mental health struggles due to academic pressure, social norms, bullying, and a lack of independence. Moreover, Japan also faces a concerning trend with increasing suicide rates among those under 20. Unfortunately, the stigma surrounding mental health in Japan and a cultural reluctance to seek help only exacerbate the problem. "
"In Japan, children are generally encouraged to excel in school, but the resulting pressure is taking a toll on their emotional well-being. Despite having a below-average poverty rate and one of the strongest economies in the world, Japanese children suffer from low self-confidence, with education experts attributing this to bullying and intense competition to enter college.
Many children lack independence because their parents discourage them from engaging in playful activities due to academic pressure to perform well in school. For example, in Japan, parents often accompany their 18-year-old children to college due to concerns about safety and well-being. This might be one of the reasons why 90% of 15-year-old children in the Netherlands rated their life satisfaction as 6 out of 10 or higher, while only 62% of Japanese children scored similarly (Hori T, 2022).
Like many other developed countries and high-income societies, Japan has also experienced social withdrawal among its youth. The term ‘hikikomori’ is used to describe individuals who prioritize virtual worlds over real life and remain confined to their homes for prolonged periods. Psychologists believe that youth social withdrawal is often linked to insecure attachment, which suggests that these youths may not have felt secure during their early years. While parental support is essential for a secure attachment, excessive protection can limit children’s autonomy."

......"Sweden’s Children and Parent Code to prohibit all corporal punishment and other humiliating treatment of children: In 1979, Sweden became the first country in the world to explicitly prohibit all forms of corporal punishment and other humiliating treatment of children. This pioneering reform is considered to have achieved full prohibition in all settings, including the home, and has fostered a profound change of attitude across Swedish society in relation to violence against children. One key success factor has been the abolition of any legal justification for physical discipline of any kind."..
Sweden is a smart country.
I guess it takes 160 IQ to learn that using violence against children wont teach them that violence is wrong.

You of all people should know that many parents are unfit to be parents.
So republicans think that parents can do whatever they want to their children.
I mean, thats just a different way of saying that children are nothing but parent's property. What a disgusting opinion to have!

Monogatari might not be right for me, but I will have to watch one episode to see.
The other two, Madoka Magica and Demon Slayer are probably much better. Thank you for mentioning them.
If you want a personal recommendation, play the Danganronpa game trilogy
I am not really sure about visual novels.
I guess they can be good, and if you recommend that one, its probably good, I just am not really a huge fan of visual novels. Maybe there is entire gameplay video somewhere so I can watch it like anime.

Also, I must say that logically, when only two claims are connected, there are only 4 options:
1. Claim A true, Claim B true
2. Claim A true, Claim B false
3. Claim A false, Claim B true
4. Claim A false, Claim B false
Logic can be used to limit argument to only one or two of these options, which is how logical arguments are made.
Created:
Posted in:
Most people tend to sound "logical" until you put what they say in premise form.
Basically, there are only 5 premise types which are important to remember, because most conversations can be converted into one of these 5:
1. If A, then B.
2. Only if A, then B
3. A includes B
4. A equals B
5. A or B
For example, some person might say "I like candy because it tastes nice."
Sounds like this sentence makes sense?
Lets put it in premise form.
If something tastes nice, then I like it.
Poison can taste nice, but you wouldnt like poison.
Thus the sentence is completely retarded.
One might defend that the actual premise only applies to candy, in a sense:
If candy tastes nice, then I like it. Candy tastes nice. I like it.
But candy can contain poison, thus then you wouldnt like it since you would die in pain from it even if it tastes nice while eating it, which makes the premise false again.
If you knew candy was poisonous and someone forced you to eat it, then you wouldnt like it at the time of eating even if it tasted nice.
Also, if you ate too much candy, then you wouldnt like it anymore since you would become ill even if it tastes nice to continue eating.
Also, if you have too much candy, it might even stop tasting nice, which negates one of the premises mentioned.
So we see that sentences used in common conversations are actually completely retarded and make no sense. The logic which can only exist if certain logical laws exist already turns most of daily conversations into rants of retards.
Basically, actual logic can only be built with premises which cannot be questioned in any way.
But due to the fallacy of logic, any premise can be questioned into infinity because every premise demands some other premise to prove itself.
Some premises are of course, still better than others in terms of consistency or lack of examples which refute them.
However, most premises in common conversations are retarded.

As far as I can understand, some people claimed to have seen Jesus alive after his death.
I am just curious what proof is there for their claims. I know proof is difficult to find when it comes to ancient history, but I think if Christians want to prove their religion, this part is very important for them.
Created:
-->
@CatholicApologetics
Sorry for bothering you, but you seem to be the leading authority regarding religious issues regarding Jesus's death on cross,
so what about proof about what happened after his death?
Created:
If Christians can prove that Jesus's resurrection really happened, then they can very much prove their religion.
Jesus dying on cross is well documented, but what happened after his death is where disagreement lies. So is there good proof for resurrection?

I checked those links, and I did manage to find one anime that seems interesting.
karakai jouzu no takagi-san seems cute enough to watch. It took me some time to find what I like on that list because it seems that most of the top rated anime arent really my style.

Dragon maid is a good anime.
I watched it before, but not until end. I also watched non non biyori long time ago.
I know about Spy x family, but I wasnt sure to watch or not it since it seemed too popular (popular things are rarely good, at least for me).
The other animes you recommended also seem interesting.
I needed an opinion from someone who watched more anime than I did. Now I have enough anime to watch for at least few months. Thank you.

You recommended me two interesting animes, so I am curious if there are any more anime like Hinamatsuri but with better story, something similar to story in World Conquest Zvezda Plot if possible.
There is not much fighting in Hinamatsuri. I enjoyed parts which described homeless life and survival, and the different personalities, but I feel like it only has fighting at start and later its just about jobs and family life.
Created:

I have watched 11 episodes of Hinamatsuri, and I have watched episode 1 of A Place Further than the Universe.
Today I am very much going to finish watching Hinamatsuri episode 12. I think its a good anime with very good start, but in episode 11 the story gets a bit derailed into less interesting details somehow.
It was fun to watch, but now I need more anime.
As for A Place Further than the Universe, before I continue watching it, I want to see if there are better alternatives, as I am not sure if this anime is right for me.
