Well, considering your skepticism, the only way to convince you is that these aliens come down to earth and explain the truth of the matter. I'm pretty sure they will.
Meanwhile, the only way to reach out to the truth is that we analyze the ancient scriptures and contrast to one another. Why the ancient scriptures? Because ancient people had contact with these aliens. Why do I think so? Because if aliens have been looking over us all along then it's plausible to think that these aliens had left something on the earth. What is it that they left? Well, according to the ancient scriptures they seeded the human being and also important knowledge, so it makes sense that the creators of the human being (the aliens) chek out how we're getting on.
To me, the kybalion seems to be alien knowledge as well as several asian phylosophies, like Buddhism or taoism, because they have more or less the same ideas.

As a feasible hypothesis, I totally accept what you say.Though if you are going to infer such a deliberate creation event, then I would have to question the purpose of the event and also it's ongoing management.
Well, it's not a hyphothesis of mine, I heard it from several contactees, so I suppose this is an alien knowledge. And if you check some readings based on ancient scriptures it infers more or less the same. For example, the kybalion says we're in an evolutionary process, where we are supposedly in the way to the super-man and finally the over-man stage.
Most of the aliens that visit us live really long too. Some contactees say they can live up to 30K years. So, I think the eternal life is not a fairy tale.

Christians were not persecuted just for being christians but for being a danger for the stabiblity of other religions and cultures. There is nothing more annoying than a bunch of zealots trying to impose their beliefs, this is hardly tolerated by people. Think about Jehova's witnesses and why they are so "beloved", or why the state and church are separated today.
So, putting the useless victimization aside, I only see two adults (you and Stephen) discussing about a very controversial subject, and as any other controversial matter, it can get really heated and tense, turning the arguments into insults very easily. And from what I can make out, the insults come from both sides, the only difference is that you're hiding after throwing the stone, and don't say you don't. I mean, you can do it but this is called cowardice wherever you go.
I've also given him a way out if he really wants to talk with me. He can apologise and then engage with our discussions. I am more than willing to unblock him if he desires that. But I know that will never happen. He doesn't want to do that. So surprise surprise, he can sit back and pretend he's waiting for me to just unblock him and in the meantime he will have his lackeys, that's you and Brother, attempt to guilt me to unblock him. I completely agree. What I was trying to say is that "mental discipline" doesn't necessarily lead you to get rid of the attraction you feel towards a person, but it's certainly a way to control your animal instinct, whether it is perverted or not.
Let's illustrate it with an example. Last week, I met a hotel receptionist that was really hot, so hot that I got a boner almost instantly. No joking, in that very moment I wanted to put her against the wall, turn her around, rip up her pants and bang her hard non stop. It's a honour to be persecuted for Jesus. That's the truth of it. And if we get slapped once because we are Christians, then to be slapped twice is even better. And it we get sued for our clothes since we are Christians, then losing two is even better.
Contrary to all what you said here, Christianity hasn't been a peaceful religion throughout the history. Just to give an example: the Crusaders or the Inquisition were nothing but violent and deadly zealots.
Another aspect of it is this. The ordinary two courses people have in any conflict is either to fight or to flee. Standing up to a bully, however is a third choice when you choose not to hit back. To turn your other cheek is actually a sign of power. And it gives you power when you do it. The bully might take advantage of it. But the fact that you forced him to do it - takes his power over you away. Of course, you might get beaten to a pulp. And I've seen it happen. But I've also seen the results of it -both for the bully and for those watching. There's a tremendous and courageous sense in standing up to a bully.
Every individual is free to react as he wishes. If a christian wants to be beaten to pulp or even to death (a very likely situation), that's his problem, but this is not going to stop me from saying how stupid, extremist and sectarian this behavior is.
On the other hand, you say you witnessed a happy ending in a fight with a buller, well, I have to tell you this doesn't happen all the time. There are also people dying in hands of bullers, unfortunately, so don't generalize. Self-defense is a completely natural reaction that everyone shouldn't refrain, otherwise our lives could be in danger.
Moreover, this stupid behavior is at odds with Jesus' commandment: "Love your neighbor as yourself". So, how could it be possible to love yourself when you let someone else beat you?

I was never in a fight for my whole life, so I think I am using the right method given that I was even in prison and even survived there without having to attack anyone.
I don't like the fights either, I think most of us don't, but I learnt that this world is full of mvthafvckas as those that you came across in jail.
Fortunately, I'm enough serious and strong to be challenged, this helped a lot. So I've never needed to kick anyone's ass. Maybe in certain occassions I had to push someone against the wall but never hurt anyone, that would make me feel bad.
All the same, the best way to avoid to lose your temper and as consequence hurt someone is to run away. But never, ever, "turn the other cheek".

Well, yes. My argument here, though, is that this Jesus' teaching is in line with what he did later on, when he let the roman soldiers arrest him to be condemned to die in the cross. So, it seems this teaching is a bit over the top.
He could have escaped because he seemingly knew the soldiers were going to arrest him overnight. It wouldn't have been the first time he ran away from his enemies. I think this is one more of the many contradictions in the bible.

I'm not against pacifism. In fact, this is one of the many virtues of Jesus and other spiritual gurus that have walked this planet.
Nevertheless, I think "turning the other cheek" goes further beyond. Jesus is telling you that you have to sacrifice yourself to make people understand that violence is wrong. I think this is unnecesary and to a certain extent it's fucking stupid. And I say it because Jesus surrendered to the jewish priests eventhough he knew he was innocent.
So, Jesus either didn't know he was going to be arrested or was really a moron because he could have gotten away to stay alive.

My understanding is that Roman's were told to smack the occupied people with the back of their right hand like an inferior but but by turning the cheek it forces a regular slap and makes them symbolically equal with their captors. It seems like he advocated for nonviolent resistance.
This is an alternative interpretation which makes sense, but this is not how christians understand this teaching. To them, we shouldn't defend ourselves, let alone fight back.
It appears that the revenge also needs to be balanced with forgiveness to match game theory.
Well, revenge is not what I meant to say but self-defense at the very least. I mean, if Jesus was to defend himself he could have got away from the roman soldiers, specially when he knew beforehand that he was wanted by the jewish priests. However, he didn't.

Being dehydrated is not good at all.
You can deprive your body of food but not water. Even when you fast you can't do that.
I heard that if you get used to dehydration you stop feeling thirsty, so it's even worse because your body loses its ability to detect the lack of water.

My suggestion is, to find a niche that suits ones capabilities and be content.
Yeah, that is what people should persue in their lives, but human beings are very complicated.
I think it's a matter of genetics. I see people craving for money, and when they get all the money they want, they go for the power, usually a political position because that way they can get more money by changing the law.
I think it's not their fault, this is the way they were born, it's in their genes. For this reason I've always suggested genetic selection so to improve the human being biology. And for that we have to fuck off all the religious people that think it's not right because it's all the opposite, it would be excellent to evolve.

Sometimes I think atheists actually don't refuse to accept the existence of a pristine creator (aka God) but the "God" that believers describe as true.
I mean, if a believer of any abrahamic religion approaches to you to say that there is a God that request you to behave good so to reward you later with heaven, but if not he will throw you to hell so you burn for the eternity, doesn't it sound childish, stupid and fucking annoying? That is the main reason for people leaving the religions. People are not spudid any more, at least not in the developed countries.

It was very useful to handle files for IT tasks. I didn't know of other scripting language but only perl and bash because it was present in any unix system.
Python was another alternative but I noticed when I was leaving the IT area. That was 15 years ago.
