Hi all! This is my first time hosting a mafia game, so hopefully things will go smoothly. I'd like to get at least 10 players, but 8 or 9 will work.
Since this is my first time modding I want the game to be fairly simple....
Default win conditions (Town wins when all Mafia are dead/Mafia wins when they are 50% or more of the player base), no "Twilight Phase" or anything like that. I'm going to do 48 hour dayphases with 24 hour nightphases...
There's of course the default rules (i.e. no talking outside of PM, no editing/deleting posts, no copy/paste from PM, you may share screenshots if they aren't of PM's or private chats, etc.)
There will be a theme split, and I will give mafia the choice of fake claim or fake role as Pie does in his games.

He was confirmed not to be a sheriff, yes lol. He was not confirmed by affiliation in any other aspect. I tried hard to push the logic of sniper for just that reason; Why would town get two guns?
I mean yeah. I believed he was the sniper. I'm just saying that since he was (almost) a confirmed sniper there was really no way to complicate things with giving him the bomb last min. With you on the other hand, we weren't sure.

Bullish had already used his role so that was basically confirmed.
I'm pretty shocked Pie was scum, although I knew that was a possibility going into this plan.

Ultimately it's still a "popularity contest" with the mods deciding on the fly what they personally consider a passable RFD.
This just isn't the case. There's an element of personal discretion inevitable to the concept of moderation, but the voting standards are almost always what we go by. If you are dissatisfied with decisions, you are welcome to appeal them, and the mods will collectively discuss whether the decision was appropriate relative to the standards.

The way I see it:

EVERYONE ELSE:

If there are 2 scum left, hitting Lunatic & Bullish SHOULD yield at least 1 scum. If I'm wrong, it'll be a dud and the game is pretty much over. It'll mean that either Warren or Pie are actually scum, or Lunatic wields some sort of defensive ability.
To compensate for the possibility of Lunatic having some unknown ability, maybe we should actually consider Bullish' proposal to give him the bomb and lynch Lunatic. I'm just remembering how Lunatic claimed "Vanilla..."

But sherriff shouldn't know another gun exists right? He claimed he lied because he knew bullish had another gun and was trying to confuse mafia to save him or something.

The statement orders you to specify the information sources of the claims you made in which you drew upon those information sources. This does not require you to provide information sources for claims you made without drawing upon those information sources.
For example, if I have a stat that says more ice cream is consumed as temperature goes up, I must provide that source since I drew upon it. If I reason purely from my own logic that as temperature goes up, more people will eat ice cream, I do not need to provide a source for that claim as I did not draw upon one.

No they wouldn't. Not being awarded for being the only person to source is not the same as being docked points for it.

We can go round and round on this, but literally everyone else agrees that sourcing is completely optional to both participate in and win the debate. And no, DART has never claimed that sources are mandatory to compete in and win debates.
Then there is the matter of a voter awarding source points, under the current policy, to an opponent with a full forfeit. Rationale, please, because it appears that could still be a valid vote, as well. At the very least, it appears that scenario should now be considered a fluff vote, but appears to still be a loophole.
You're carping on something that is literally inconsequential. If we removed votes for only having 6 points allocated to the non-forfeiting party instead of all 7, we would be wasting our time. This is why FF votes are unmoderated as long as the balance of points goes to the non-forfeiting party.

No clue what to think about Bullish' claim or math. Seems like there's plenty of room for miscalculation...
So what we do is we lynch 2 people since we have 2 consecutive DPs, and we force a person to keep the bomb, and I kill a guy.
This could be a scum gambit to kill off townies and then finish things quickly. Especially with Bullish insisting on being the last one to pull the trigger.
That said, the upside (that Bullish is actually town) looks pretty good.

Warren - FOS: Warren shooting Supa came off as extremely rash to me, which is unlike Warren. Normally he’s calculative in his assessment but time he didn’t read that Supa could be role-confirmed tomorrow. At the same time, a scum member with a gun? Would Drafter really do that?
With the death over the NP, I'm almost certain the scumteam isn't able to kill during the daytime. If anything I think this town-confirms warren, although I will agree with the sentiment that he shouldn't have pulled the trigger quite yet.
