1) in that example we're talking about Loki... a god. I'm pretty sure he wouldn't make mistakes. 2) I don't know what this entity is... but if it's able to jump realities, i would think it knows a little more than we do. 3) if they can only manifest here as an energy we can't detect, then we'll never detect it until we figure out the means they come here. I'm making these up, but i'm going off what means can it happen to where there aren't mistakes and they remain undetected. It isn't inconceivable. We can sorta rule out what you're saying however, sure... there aren't drunk ghosts that are sloppy. That seems to not be a case. But maybe it is and the humans that caught it weren't suppose to... but again, if it's through a means we haven't been able to detect or even know about... then even drunk ghosts will be elusive.it would basically be a guarantee that he get caught.
why do you assume that scientists don't take it seriously?
You keep saying there is no evidence... how do you know that?
In regards to this question... tell me how many scientists will get a grant, for the long term, to fully study only metaphysical phenomena. Now, tell me how many scientists will get a grant to create AI. Maybe i used the wrong word, i'm sure there are many scientists that do take it seriously... however, i do not think metaphysical phenomena is on the front lines in a large enough way as something more tangible that results in profits. Scientists want grants, they want fame, they want to have their work in journals... do you think that would be achievable if one said i'm trying to study inter-dimensional beings? Or do you think most of the community would laugh at said person? These people are stuck in their own dogmas and greed... they are just humans after all. And, if you are going to pull the no evidence card... i simply disagree. I think it's negligent and actually pretty humanly arrogant to say there is no evidence. And that's not directed at you... it's people that think they are the shit bc they are scientists so they can dismiss something when they don't even understand it. My hate like i said isn't' for science... i highly dislike certain humans. Mainly those telling me to erase an entire belief/suspicion bc they are "smart" and know. That sounds just as bad as a religious zealot to me.
same way we see neutrinos
Like i said, it may not be as easy as that... and obviously, it appears not to be as easy as that. We have no idea how they do this, if they do it at all. Whatever it is seems to be elusive. But there is enough testimony to at the very least suspect something more is going on. Everything else you said, perceptions, is what we are bound by... that is all this reality stuff. A being that comes from a reality that follows totally different laws wouldn't follow that; hence, why i am giving the idea it can't fully manifest physically. But maybe there is a constant we can find that exists in every reality. Maybe it's dark energy, and if so... maybe that's why they're invisible. We just can't know until our knowledge is further than the low percent of knowledge (of everything) we have presently.

But we don't call them ghost.
Of course. I think we call something a ghost when 1) it appears to look like a human; or 2) appears to have human characteristics like intelligence. But who knows... dark energy might be the brain matter of a god... so that would be a ghost in some way. However, i think for the most part, the two reasons above are why people call things ghosts.
we then need other methods to verify the accuracy of the testimony
We do need one... bc Etrnl made a good point: If these entities are intelligent, then they aren't something repeatable. You can't just ask a ghost to appear on demand. Or, you can't be certain of when they come here. Like the reality jumpers idea... how can you test if say Loki is popping in every once and awhile to look at our world, or every here and there messing with some random person he wants to mess with? There is no pattern to that other than what Loki wants to do. Our current scientific method is just not equipped enough yet.
But how do you know which testimony to disregard for these rules?
This is a problem. Humans are greedy, liars, and just petty. The waters are muddied. That's why i hope science comes up with something. Bc that is the only way we can shut these liars up... just like how in my opinion science has largely shut up certain religions... that is the only way we will get closer to the truth. I'm not a science hater by any means... I just wish science took these topics a little more seriously. Bc even within that field there are liars, greedy a-holes... actually, i think greed and fame is taking over science which is a bad thing in regards to getting to metaphysical ideas. The push is for technology, not spiritual knowledge. However, i have a theory that technology will eventually get us to spiritual knowledge... for maybe the day we fully understand consciousness and how to create sentient AI... will also be the day we get closer to a metaphysical platform... it's just a waiting game.
However, I see no reason to suspect that ghost would be able to change their natural laws, maybe their own bodies.
It's just a generalized hypothetical to make that point. I got it from the idea that if you die and becoming incorporeal... if you want to manifest back as a corporeal being you have to manifest back into reality. Sorta got the idea from reincarnation and the like. Plus, i also think whatever is in our reality (physically) has to follow our realities rules... but of course i only know our present rules. What can they be in a million years... who knows. Maybe we'll become reality jumpers.

@Wrick-It-Ralph
there no data
Not necassarily true. I would call the millions of experiences some kind of data. Just not one science likes. And in that sense, this is a sweeping generalization. Unless of course, you're talking about peer reviewed data... which of course there isn't. However, i would say there is more data than a scientific idea about multi-verses bc of the observational evidence.
I'm ambivalent about "ghosts." I mean, it depends on what we are talking about. Are there other entities that can manifest to this world without being detectable to the human eye? Maybe. I've had an experience or two of something that was unseen. However, this brings me to the next thing i noticed you say:
Couldn't they exist, but all of your rules are inaccurate?
I agree with you. I'm not much for trying to defining metaphysical phenomena and saying "this is what it is." However, from what people report, or an experience you may have had... you can draw some conclusions. For instance you can say "something unseen was able to follow my directions and manipulate an object." If it can follow directions and do that... we can at least say it has some kind of intelligence. So, you can draw some conclusions, but i agree that we can't just flat out say... it's this. Which brings us to your OP:
If ghosts existed, then would we be able to detect them?
I have a couple ideas, if they exist, why they would be elusive. But not knowing what they are, i have to sort of generalize. For instance, what if ghosts are other intelligent beings from other realities. Think of it as some entity from a magical universe where there are reality jumpers. I would think if they do come here they would only be able to in energy form. Bc, if they physically manifest into our reality... they would then be bound by our physical laws. Possibly losing their abilities. This can explain ghost sightings, hauntings, crap, even aliens. That general idea applies to basically anything else like it being dead humans. Second, what if they can only interact with this world through us. Either ghosts of humans or other dimensional beings. This one kinda has a hole in it however bc there are object manipulation experiences, but i would assume if they can interact with us, again through some sort of energy we don't know of... maybe that energy can also interact with other particles to the point of making sounds or moving objects.
I wouldn't say there is no evidence bc these things do happen. Of course there are many liars out there, even some just mentally sick... but i doubt every account is by someone that's faking it or deluded. So i personally think somethings going on... and when there is such a large portion of our universe we call dark and have no clue what it is... i think these entities can possibly be operating on some level that's even more mysterious than dark energy. We are still infants in our scientific knowledge... so science's data should not be the point of reference. The point of reference in this matter should be the experiences people are reporting. That data exists.

I don't think we can say which version is correct. However, thanks to Omar's site, i would say it's either metaphysical or existential. I personally favor metaphysical if i had to pick one.

Damn man you are learning my style... i can take only so many goosebumps per day! Crazy thing is i saw a song from her and i didn't like the song but i thought her voice had potential. I saved it just so i can find something... well, you deserve a thank you for finding something. It was on the head bang level for sure... but the ultimate is getting me teary eye'd (which it still might with some weed and a 40). Keep it up man.. i'm bad at finding new music so thanks for sharing.
Goosebumps on the start where the choir hit, goosebumps when the little creepy girls giggled in the background, that bass drop with the choir... goosebumps, the beat kicking in with Tatu, that drop into the beat and creepy piano, back into tatu killing it... with the end buildup to tracking her voice in minors behind the beat... damn man... that's what i call a song.

@mustardness
Well, since i look at religion as black and white thinking i would put mine in philosophy where it's more on the grey spectrum. But that's how i define it / see it. I don't think my "philosophy" falls under black and white thinking since it's very nuanced and deeper in what it could mean when considering what it means to everyone. That's why i'm hesitating to agree with you (that it's under religion) at least from my way of seeing it.

Buy a Mickey 40... buy a small orange juice... take a couple chugs to bring down the Mickey's about 3 to 4 inches... fill it back up with orange juice... watch something you like on Youtube that's long enough for you to chug the 40... try to finish it in 20 to 30 minutes... when you're finished with the Mickey's, go outside and smoke two bowls (well i need two - newbies will need just 1) of a strong indica ... light a cigarette... and just wait for the magic to slowly sink in as you smoke... after you're done with the smoke... put on a good headphone and blast your favorite songs.
I call this mix "Mickey's paradise." You're welcome.

Lol great points... i wish he kept going with his Capitalism thing. I'm centrist, but this is one thing i clearly lean left on.But the poor are still poor and even your general statement is false.
I hate it when the right bring about the argument... well, "the poor are richer than a king from game of thrones days" ... BS. They're still poor!!! Does it matter they were able to buy an iphone... probably used anyways?? They are still struggling in the richest nation.
When it comes to greed... the "right" really takes the cake... literally, and stuff it down their faces without a care in the world that people have to skip buying milk, essentials, bc they had to get a cavity filled that month.
"While the richer get richer... the poor can buy an iphone so they can at least watch shows when they're begging for money." Freaking most idiotic mentality.
In answering is socialism bad, capitalism bad thing... They are both horrible without each other. I just don't know which one to call the girl / guy in the relationship.

Why does Youtube keep taking them down?
I really don't know. The stuff he says he puts up on Patreon are more graphic in nature... so that might be it. Bc he is following fair use laws by commenting and critiquing the videos... and some are still up. So, i've kinda ruled out copyright. All these interrogations are all up on other channels. I don't know why they're going down hard on him. Maybe bc he has so many views in such little time. I really don't know... maybe it's the first thing that they're graphic content... but it's just interrogations.
He's really good at analyzing these interrogations... maybe that analysis has something to do with it. He straight up is giving away interrogation techniques that professionals use. I've studied it a bit, and he is spot on in regards to certain definitions and the technique used by law enforcement. So much so i think he may be ex-police or maybe even ex-con that learned all this in prison. It's really hard to tell why they're taking down his stuff, but he's pretty darn good if you're interested in listening and learning such things.

If i watched someone like Jeffrey Dahmer get shot in the head in front of me... i wouldn't feel anything. I would think that murder was right.I judge morals by the state of affairs they happen in. So Situation X always applies moral X. after considering all analytical factors.
If i watch a little girl's cat (innocent human) get shot... i'd be pissed. That would be wrong.
Is that what you're saying? Does that make me a moral particularist too?

I see. Well, those are only things you can figure out on yourself. The percentages help, but it's really you who knows you best.
I/E are the easiest to tell bc it's versus do you get energy when your by yourself or around people.
N/S are harder to describe and i have to do my taxes still lol. The best analogy of an N and a S i've heard is ... say a Ferrari drives by... do you just keep it inside and say "Cool" (N) or do you turn to your friends like "Holy crap... Look" (S). Or of course a variation... like just tell the closest friend (N), or grab everyone you're with's attention (S).

@TheRealNihilist
Nice. Looks like you are pretty solid in INTP. The first test at least. The second test looks like a little less with your T/F. You can figure that out yourself however. If you want to know which other sign could be you just analyze by yourself... Do you "think" things through more than use your "feelings." Do you go with your heart more than you do with your head type thing. Just reason that out with yourself. If it's truly split, than also look up INFP... if not, you're more INTP.
When it comes to the J/P, are you more spontaneous (P) or are you more detail oriented (J). If you plan, is it last minute lets do whatever, or do you think about it before you do it... This one i'm personally 50/50 with. I'm however more detail, bc there is even detail in my spontaneous actions. So, that's why it's tricky bc you can be spontaneous and detailed. Like my room is a mess, but i know exactly where everything is. Actually, when i clean it up i get confused. So, i'm really detailed, but in a spontaneous way. That's why i'm primarily INFJ... but i can also be INFP. I'm basically mostly those two personally. So just think through it like my examples of which you are more.
Anyways, cool to have another IN... lol. I imagine there aren't too many ES types that would be on this site. The good thing about this test is read the other ones... and, you'll kinda know people in rl that are the one's you can't stand... i've never met an ISTJ that didn't hate me and i hate them, almost instantly (met 4 in rl and couple online). It's like my total opposite... it's pretty wild.

1) Ann C. Holm, a life coach with a degree in psychology from the University of Michigan, asserts on her site that INFJs have complex personalities and are often mistaken for extroverts because of how deeply interested in people they are. But unlike true extroverts or other extrovert-appearing types, INFJs "will suddenly withdraw into themselves, sometimes shutting out those closest to them."
2) "why are you so quite"
INFJ: If i thought for a second that you would listen, i'd never shut up.
Those are two quotes that i find really accurate and funny about my type.

Well that's good. You'll have a better handle on the test now that you're analyzing it. None of these test are exact obviously, we are unique human beings and it's hard to beg it down perfectly. However, if you do these tests that give percentages and ranges you can pick from... they're hell of a lot more accurate.
You have a fairly rare sign. Actually, even INTP you got with the other is fairly rare. If you read all the descriptions, you probably will find some sentences where you'll think holy crap. At least that's how it is for me being the most rare sign. What you may also find interesting is the the rare signs have more comments than the signs that aren't rare. That is an indication that it's semi-accurate. Since you can image the rare signs, especially the IN's would be searching for this stuff more than the ES's would be.
These test are fairly accurate in job placement recommendations as well. Obviously not for everyone... but a lot of people find the recommendations are spot on. That's why i like these highly studied tests. Even the second one i gave you has changed since i last took it years ago. It didn't have ranges when i took it... it does now. Which is a good sign that they are evolving with new knowledge in how to administer the test. There are a couple other tests i wish i remembered to show you... they were cool in combination with this test. But i don't remember much from my college days.
It's cool you're IN is basically the same as mine. Being 50/50 on the others is interesting too bc that would open you up for more than just the one you got an answer for... at least more than mine. Bc since i have such low percentages, i'm not really 50/50.. i had to really look into it to see which other one i would fall under since it's for sure one or two other signs. You have more flexibility.
In regards to the T/A thing, i that's something new and i didn't study it. I'm the flip of yours... "A" ... but i can't give you any thoughtful answer on those ones. I would have to look them up in depth.
Created:

@RationalMadman
The site i gave you has brief explanations about the types. But some good too...
I like this sites explanation of INFJ the best. This was the original test if i'm not mistaken... before all the other ones started to pop up. Not the original original... but i took this one like more than 10 years ago in pysch. Don't do the test again if you don't wish too... i just think the descriptions of the signs are better.
Created:

@RationalMadman
That's cool... you fall under the Analysts. I'm rarely that... Bc my F is pretty solid, but sometimes a T. But, some things in INTJ relate to me. But i'm mostly under Diplomats. And just the titles of INFJ and INFP should make sense to you since you know me "Advocate" and "Mediator."
Created:
Posted in:
-->
@RationalMadman
Tell me what you got with that one... then try this one:
I know another one that's a little more accurate, but i don't feel like searching it. This test is the most widely used by teachers however.
With this test in particular... you don't want only two choices... bc you're always a degree of the answers.
I first got INFP when i did your test... then i got INFJ when i changed 4 of the questions i could have been either one. If you notice the test i gave you will give you percentages. My "I" is always in the 80%. My "N" is always in the 80% range... those two i'm solid. But my "F" i'm in the 20% and my "J" i'm in the 15% range... meaning, i'm primarly INFJ... but i'm also INTJ, and INFP ... each letter has a percentage. There are few people that are 100% a letter, but they exist too. My friends 100% "I" and it shows... he never wants to go out and he's always home. Where as i feel like going out 20% of the time. Same with "N" ... i'm using intuition most the time, inward thinking, and rarely just "S" ... were i'm just paying attention to what i see only.

Yeah, good that Ramshutu said it... the idea of this type of speech restriction is what most social media platforms are using as their reasoning. To ban harmful people / trolls to allow real speech happen that's constructive. Plus, it will bring more users or users won't leave bc the harmful people. I don't know how much i agree with it.. bc they can take that far like banning people for misgendering... that's taking it too far in my opinion. Bc we are telling the people that are biologically correct they're wrong. If i'm being respectful but don't want to call a guy a she... then they can either stop talking to me or looking at my posts. Forcing your beliefs on others is always wrong. But i agree with keeping things clean in regards to harmful users as long as the context was correct.

What reason does the source platform have for existing?
There really is no reason... it's just a platform. It's not a "who." It everything. So it's not just one thing. Everything exists within it simultaneously i presume... at least that is a deduction i can make if it's infinitely everything. We are just a manifestation of one experience/reality. I imagine there are infinite other realities. Not much different than that physicists many worlds hypothesis. Just that on steroids.
Created:
Posted in:
-->
@disgusted
WHY does everything existing rely on a "source platform"?
I don't know the answer to this.
Every creature already exists WHY would evolution give them a chance that they have always enjoyed?
A metaphysical alternative is just that... an alternative. What i like to do is debate these alternatives bc they aren't ruled out, in my opinion. I feel if we can hone on a platform that is logical, then maybe we can find answers. So, a natural explanation is just one explanation that's observable. But, what is reality? Why do animals exist in the first place? Where did we come from and what was before? These are outstanding questions that we can come up with alternatives for.
What is a source platform?
An infinite consciousness type platform (source). There are many monistic type platforms like this but they're all summed up to something like a source. Where everything we have ever thought of, everything here, basically everything... is a manifestation of what this source is. Infinite sand. Everything exists in this sand. But to actualize it needs to become a sandcastle. When it collapses, it doesn't go away but just merge with the platform again and manifest somewhere else again or the same place. That's an analogy to illustrate what it is.

You have to be more clear. If i don't understand what you're asking me, i just don't understand so help me understand. If it's what Wrick-Ralph is saying, then bc with evolution everything the source platform has needs a time to exist. That's really all i got from that platform.If in your imagination nothing ever dies why can't your imagination come up with reasoning for such claims.

Well we all evolved. In the source platform everything exists. I believe evolution is one way to give every creature and human there time to exist. But, i really don't think that's what he's asking... pretty sure he wants to call me delusional. We'll see.

Man... i'll give a short attempt. How do you know animals aren't animals in infinite realities? Dead here, pop up somewhere else. That's the implication of the platform.WHY would this be the case for an animal that evolved on this planet and is it the case for all the animals that have evolved on this planet?

I only use a few basic principles to stop the infinite regress.
I may not understand your platform well enough so tell me if i'm wrong. But if it's something like a cycle, wouldn't there be infinite cycles before it... so, then how do you ever get to the present? Also, what is outside our universe? If it's only a cycle of our existence... does it say anything if there is something beyond or existence? Or, is it a finite platform? Which has the same problems as above as in what's the end. Sorry, feel like critiquing your belief a bit now lol.

Exactly, and i think that helps her deal with the event better too. Actually, that's probably why it happens. In my case, it's a specific thing that happens before i learn of the event or the event happens. It's so specific... man, i really want to tell you, but not this one... i'm still testing it. Let's say in two of them i gathered my things and said bye freaking the people out in how i knew what was about to happen. It's that specific... so much so i'm not shocked to hear the event happened (edit: i wish i could have stopped some of them though.. that's the curse of it i feel).
Have you ever went back to a place that you dreamed of before?
Yeah, dreams are a trip man. I've had some really crazy ones. One really vivid one i remember i was walking down a shopping places and all the sudden looked up in the sky and a bunch of war planes coming my way. Saw the very far back one drop a bomb and just ran. One bombs hit so close i felt the shock wave and fell over. I saved someone, and when we both got clear... a nuke went off. I just looked at him like, we dead bro lol. But the crazy part was as the nukes heat got closer to me, i started burning up, and when it hit me, i woke up literally burning up. I've gotten hot flashes before, but damn i was burning up. Interesting thing for me about death dreams is in all of them... i'm not scared at all. Even the person i saved said in my dream how are you so brave. It's an extension of who you are i guess.
Another interesting thing is, i practiced lucid dreaming. I had 4 in total. One of them was insane. Bc, i walked up out of my body looking at myself sleeping on the floor. I touched my fingers and remember feeling them... it was so vivid it felt like the real me. And i thought, "holy crap i can do anything i want right now." Bc of that though, i had a rush of adrenaline and it woke me up (dammit). I say it's interesting however bc my uncle didn't believe me... he said, i couldn't have been dreaming. He thinks some kind of chemical (i forget exactly) had to have dropped. But he wouldn't believe it was a dream. How can i argue with a neurologist... but, i had 3 others that were dreams i'm pretty sure.

Tweedism man... They are all bought and paid for by people mostly among the 1%. This isn't a true democracy... We're just puppets to be controlled.
