I personally think it's you that's going nowhere with this, but okay... thanks for wasting my time.I am tired. Sorry about not responding but by reading what you said we are not really going anywhere.

Wait what?Knowing less means you knew less then your past self. That is the definition of lesser.
I already said i knew less, but knowing less doesn't have much to do with this topic if we are talking about who i am. I never knew the color black before i saw it for the first time and had enough capacity to understand why i like the color. That reason is who i am. That reason/theme has stayed consistent... the theme of all of it is around who i am and the way i see the world.
If you are consistent in your like for black when you are knowing more information. You are not being consistent for your like for black because you just increased your knowledge or whenever you did it. Now you can change this statement to every so often I have consistently improved my knowledge on black.
It's the theme, it's not the color. Like i said above, i didn't know the color black at some point... but who i am presently would always pick the color as my favorite bc of who i am (not surprising i picked it when i had the choice). I will always find vampires more appealing than a show like the Simpsons... Vampires are black themed, Simpsons more colorful... that is the theme of the "meness" i find that is consistently who i am. It hasn't changed, it hasn't been any "lesser" in effecting the reality around me as i define it.

@TheRealNihilist
Since you knew less.Do you consider yourself lesser in the past?
I knew less, but i wouldn't consider myself lesser in regards to this topic. Say i like the color black bc it rebelled against the other colors in my eyes and most other kids were afraid of it; then i learned of bands like Marilyn Manson later bc of that same rebellious/dark/scary side to them... the theme/my reasons are the same, i just learned about the bands later. Who i am is gravitating towards these things, that part is consistent... so i wouldn't call that part lesser. I would call that part the only part that's been consistent throughout the years.

@TheRealNihilist
I know that but would you consider your past self lesser than the person who you are now?
What do you mean by "lesser"? In regards to what we've been discussing so far, especially around the favorite color thing... no, the theme/reasons have remained exactly the same throughout the years.

@TheRealNihilist
Your reasons for liking black has evolved. Does that mean you weren't you in the past?
They've evolved with knowledge of more things... each reason has just been added to, not deleted... The theme has remained the same; that might be a better word.
If a full capacity you is you. What were you in the past?
I've never not been at full capacity per se... except for ages that i can't remember. That was my point, i don't know what these off cases would do since i don't remember / i wouldn't remember if i had say dementia or something... but would the theme change if i saw the color black? Idk... it hasn't happened so i wouldn't be able to know the answer to that. I suspect more than not the theme wouldn't change... but i can't know that for obvious reasons.

@TheRealNihilist
This will relate to the color black example. Ever since i have been asked what my favorite color is, i've chosen black (i liked it before i was asked too). My reasons for this choice haven't changed but they have evolved. I was a different person in the past, but that person that see's beauty in such a color hasn't... that's the "meness" part that i notice has stayed consistent. But, 10 year ago me is a lot different than the person i am now in other ways. For instance i hated pop music, now i like some. Considering that, "were you still you in the past" ... yes and no. There are elements that are still me, and some that aren't the same as past me.So you weren't you in the past?
It would depending on many things. If the color black didn't exist, then i'd likely find a color that gives me the same reasons why i like black. It's not so much the color, it's the reasons why i like the color. That can happen with some other colors. Then, there are some extreme examples that i wouldn't be able to tell you like brain injury changing this favorite... is that possible? Idk. Would my reasons also change? Idk. I can tell you that if i am at full capacity of who i am now, it will remain my favorite for the reasons i hold it to be so.If black wasn't your favorite color would it still be you?

I like your twist on the "self" question, so i'll bite. I am the person observing/experiencing this reality in the present moment. This person is one of many depending on the present reality. But from what i am starting to understand about this person is that black is its primary favorite color bc of everything the color means in all its variations to this person i call me.

Ha that's like my fourth warm up song. Nice! That's why i like redlight so much... bc that's more my style. I mix shuffle and c-walk... remember i'm a Kali kid lol. That's why i like hip hop and anything in that realm... so a lot of electronic music with a head moving beat, i guess it's closer to dupstep/reagae at that point. The vocals and stops on that redlight song are very hip hop in my opinion. It's cool... but imma try some of that guy in the last videos moves to the last song... i love shuffle from Melbourne to jump to our current day shuffle... coolest dance(s).

We are all in one reality and i can prove that if i was able to blow up the planet. But does that mean we are all in the same reality... no. I look at realities the same way i look at genres of music. Good luck telling a rapper which is better, mumble rap or lyrical. Sometimes there is consensus, sometimes there is not. We just live on a rock that allows for different realities to play out their characters.

You know... you said it best, keep your options open. There are thousands of things you can do whenever you want to do them. And me personally, i only get obsessed with one or two of them at a time, so i can't even do everything in a lifetime if i wanted to. There is no getting bored if you always live in the present... well, you do get bored, but to me... that boredom is forced on me through societies idiot belief of work. But other than work... i'm never bored. See why your work thing depressed me? I hope you find a job that isn't boring though. 90% of us aren't so lucky, so please don't think work will fill that void... plan ahead just in case.
Created:

@Speedrace
That's really dumb... no offense. I think you only live once as who you are now in this moment, it's depressing you'd rather throw that away to be a wage slave but of course that's your choice not mine. But, first recommendation:I'll probably work until I die then
Knowledge. Find ways to make money.
Learn, as much as you can in as many different fields that interest you.
Self improvement... work on yourself in as many ways as you can, health, workout, learn, etc.
Video games or any other entertainment that interests you.
Sports or learn something that is an activity under this banner.
Do things you haven't done that need another to guide you through like hunting or survivalists.
Visit other places in the world or in your own country.
Go to events... speech, entertainment/music, conventions, etc.
Go out by yourself and meet new people... i usually go to nightlife hot-spots and just talk to random people i find interesting.
I can keep going... I'm not that old but i'm older. Actually, i'm bored at work right now and look what i'm doing... not being bored giving you advice whether it matters or not. I personally like helping people so it does make my boredom go away. I'm not even Christian and i go to churches to talk to teens bc i'm good at it. It's all about what you want to do. But, there is so much more to life than work... so please, that's super depressing, plus, work doesn't mean you're not bored... figure out things. And, even if you don't like those top things or more now, you may in the future... your mind changes. Your identity changes. I use to hate certain topics that i love now in just like the past 4 years.

@TheAtheist
I believe in "god" bc i believe (suspect more than not) i will never die or more specifically, become non-existent. Therefore i've come to a tentative conclusion that i'm a duality between a finite entity (mortality) and an infinite entity (god - yeah i believe i am "a" god). Which platform(s) allow for this? Depending on how you define them... simulation, oneness, source, infinite consciousness, panpsychism, etc... i don't really care about the platform though bc it truly doesn't matter.

@Yassine
Now... liberals are going to call republicans murders and at fault, and republicans are going to call liberals ignorant and stupid... and, another person watching it all unfolded is going to get pissed off enough to shoot people again... and let the cycle repeat. At least, that's one cause in my opinion. Add in a bunch more, it's a society problem as a whole... we are ignorant and regressing into animals again bc we don't know the true predators stalking us in the shadows... so we blame each other.

@RoderickSpode
I've never watched much comedy so i don't know about those people... but i generally like dark humor so i don't mind some brutal content... but, if it's blatantly racist... it should be called out and i think most would. Comedians are usually pretty good about working the darker stuff in to be more enlightening then easily just one thing... but then again, there are idiots out there so what do i know. I don't like comedy too much so i'm not aware of many comedians... only that comedians are good at making you think about what you may have not thought about before. Those are generally the ones i like.
As to society defining evil... they are doing a piss poor job at it. It's really easy in my opinion, but it's really hard... evil is imprisoning another. If x person didn't exist, then y person would never feel imprisoned by x person. Now like everything in this reality, there are degrees to this, but obvious ones, murder, rape, torture, should be noted, and i think society has a good grasp on these ones. However, i do not think society has a good grasp on the not so obvious evils bc society is willingly giving power to other humans without putting any kinds of checks on them. Evil in this regard would be something like... a CEO hunting down the most vulnerable person working for them, making their life hell, then firing them when they become aware they're desperate... all for this CEO's amusement. These are evils too... people like that exist too. Even people that don't have power... like that girl that pushed her boyfriend to commit suicide bc she probably got some sort of satisfaction. I don't think society is as aware of this evil or has a good grasp on it.
Overall, i guess it's all relative. Does the world share my definition of evil? I don't know. But.. i don't think anyone wants to be imprisoned by another unless it's a choice (an interesting scenario). If you think about it... you've probably even imprisoned in some way another. Whether it was playing loud music at night not allowing someone to sleep, or being a rebel and making your mom worry... we all have it within us. It's just, some people are at the extremes of the spectrum... everyone not on the extreme of the spectrum should wake up... we should be fighting the apex evils and erasing them from society. We can make a world where the apex evils can't exist... but i think we are too distracted.

They are good for thought and why i still read them... but i don't think any issue is black and white... and if it is, it's silly to debate it in general. You are telling the other person their ideas are smart enough to debate... something like slavery is good or bad... It's bad, i don't need to justify that to anyone. And if it's not black and white, i don't like it when i have to pick a winner, bc usually in that case, i think the truth is in both sides' arguments.I think they're good food for thought, don't you?
I just don't like the structure of I'm right and you're wrong. Reality is a lot more complicated then that.

I think education is most effective when it's something someone wants. Right now, damn the person and what they want bc the system wants this persons money. So, you will have to take frivolous classes that mean nothing to you. Very few teachers will tell you a gender studies degree will get you no where... they will tell you, "you can write a book or become X and "make a lot of money"' Sure, they can justify that bc it's possible... but they won't tell you 98% of you will end up in a sales job or some other random job. They justify it bc "i'm helping by keeping their minds open to that possibility" ... but this world isn't an upside-down triangle... there are only so many that can "make it" in something non-specified. But as long as money is king... this doesn't matter, people's future doesn't matter... X teacher just wants to hold onto their job... you be damned.

@Christen
It's bad bc humans are involved. Period. Out of my years of education... i've had maybe only a handful of teachers tell it like it is without lying about possibilities. The truth is... very few will make it in most subjects. Unless it is a specified subject, you are rolling the dice with education. Now... thinking outside of what you are comfortable with is good... but only if you can detach from indoctrination. One should always be looking for a way to manipulate and win... bc this world favors the sociopaths... nice guys finish last is such a brilliant phrase... bc there aren't many nice people in this world. Evil rules so those trying to be good need to learn how to manipulate and win... it's sad and sucks, but you have to feed this corrupt world with gluttony.
Created:

Tf... you listed like 100 debate topics... someone is going to find at least one of them a debate topic worthy of debating... i think debating is stupid overall... but it doesn't stop you from debating. So why ask? Just debate, people like me will read, and pick the winner. That will give you the hard on you're looking for... i'm not hating, i'm just acknowledging it feels good to win.
Maybe that should be the debate topic of all topics... humans feel less insignificant when they are winning... but the most powerful humans are those that feel significant even if they are losing.

I like Tulsi... she laid a smack down on Harris tonight. But i'm personally voting for Bernie or Warren. I think it's going to take the extreme to make any kind of change. I don't agree with everything they stand for... but i do agree they are extreme, which i think that's what it will take to make any kind of change. I agree with Jane. Everyone is a degree of good and evil. I think acting out as either good or evil is very situational. Many things can contribute to someone acting on their evil side. I'll use myself as an example bc i feel like i'm a good 50/50 split... maybe a little more good. But take away my family, take away my friends, take away my lifestyle... i'm not the type to just go homeless and take it. I'm not the type to take anything on my knees... if i had nothing, i'm 90% sure i would be more evil in how i lived this life. The only way society can control evil is to understand the degrees and what situations would push a person to be evil... but, society doesn't care. They're too blind and would rather blame other things. I really don't see much good in people to be honest, and evil existing makes absolute sense bc those that think they are good are blind to how they're creating it. Think of it like a video game. If you don't balance the game and allow for something in the game to exist... it will exist.

If you have any other questions, it doesn't have to be about fasting, unless that is really what interests you.
No. That was interesting. I didn't know Christian's have a fast time too. Sounds like a good time to me. It really does good things for your health, add in that you have a holy moment doing it, sounds cool. I would suggest fasting everyday... intermittent fasting. You will honestly notice how good it makes you feel if it works for you. I personally got into it younger, before i realized the health benefits. I use to feel guilty being a glutton while there are people suffering. I started seeing the ugliness in fat people bc it just showed me they only care about themselves. I've gotten a little less bigoted in this regard bc i get everything has a story behind it, but i still see ugliness when people are shoveling food down their throats. I've always found it disgusting both in listening to people eat or watching. As much as i have narcissistic traits, i do have a weird intense empathy too. I give more respect to your belief bc you put yourself in a situation to glorify god, that's cool... but also keep in mind that fasting is something that some have no choice in bc they have no food to eat... feel close to them too.
Created:

@Mopac
I do all types of fasts. Actually, you want to find what works for you... not what another says bc our bodies are all different. But then again, this is in a health sense but it does have a little spiritual connotation to it too. I wont say what i mean bc i like how you haven't called me a demon yet... not going to force it. lolFasting is like a prescription you get from the doctor. The doctor can prescribe, but it is up to the patient to follow the doctor's instructions.
Just do your fast and praise your god. Like i've always said... i think whatever you believe is true. Oh... i liked that last comment... minus the last sentence, but it was pretty deep overall.

I'm glad you ended with that bc i was going to say... in the long run, there will be a different president. I don't really care what Trump is doing in foreign policy bc i know he isn't going to be in office forever. Maybe if that was the case, something can come out of it. But i suspect all these people that want to meet him is bc he's him... We know Kim is a fanboy of American celebrities... Stuff like that... it's just very superficial to me. Overall point is, Kim is still a dictator that is dangerous. He will remain that way until his country wakes up. All it will take is a president he doesn't like next, and he'll be back to his nukes. Shaking hands with Trump is just a show the way i see it... but i could be wrong. I could be wrong about everything i believe. It's just the way i see it presently. If Trump did something to free the NK people and make some kind of fair country there... then i would give him credit. But this whole i'm going over there and talking and shaking hands bs... i see through it.but I don't know how that will play out in the long run, it's just something different.
As to Trump's saying what is on his mind... i don't mind that either. It's why i voted for him, bc he's unhinged. But you are right that it is adding to the divisiveness. But your main point is the drama part... i totally agree and it's quite sad in my opinion. Bc a better reality wouldn't be drama based, it would be something more on the lines of fantasy in my opinion. At least that seems like a more hopeful future and one we are headed towards if we don't get held back.

I will look into it. I'm not much of a reader, but i'm sure Youtube has some stuff i can binge through.I believe Teddy Roosevelt said that. Progressivism and conservatism go hand in hand. You'd probably enjoy reading about him if you haven't much already.
And, i agree with that sentiment. I think it's natural that humans evolve and figure things out as they go, but i also believe we can't just throw away stuff that's been working for years. But there is very old think in conservatism we need to evolve from, and there is also dangers in moving forward too fast off pure emotion we need to be conscious of. Idk if that makes me a centrist, but i don't see how it's not logical.
