Yes, but given the vast number of characters in the MCU, it would be easy for mafia to fakeclaim. Also, if that were the case, the power roles would very possibly be outed.

You also latched onto Oro for his supposed "vanilla" claim. You only made 5 other posts up to that point, 2 of which weren't substantive at all. So yeah, 2 out of your 3 actual posts were pressuring others for their statements.

SInce there is no thematic split, is there any advantage to holding back on character claims?
Given the theme, there's probably a link between characters and roles.

What do you think of Warren, Bear, User, and Croc?

@ILikePie5
I'm not too sure. Warren was inactive in your game for the first 3 DPs and responded to Oro's scumread of him by saying that "it happens from time to time."
But I don't know if this has always been his stance.

The way you worded it looked like a response to a question that someone asked you. Like someone was asking you "Why did you townread RM?"

Warren also seems very belligerent, like he's trying to get something out of every little statement. This type of nitpickiness looks like scum trying to make someone crack early and get a quick wagon on them.

From post #14
I know that I just said 'the town' in third person, I am one of the town but I always think in third-person in games, in fact the game where I used 'us' and 'we' the most, was the last game I was in here (where I was mafia). I will always interchangeably use these and it is not a slip, it is to do with my switching between different perspectives in how I think about strategy as I type out my thoughts.
This also seems sus. It's like RM is hyper self-aware of his image and is trying very hard to fit in and convince everyone that he's town.

I townread RM? I feel like I shouldn't have such a strong read so early but that all felt very pure and transparent? I dunno.
Who were you even addressing this to?

@RationalMadman
Wait, so you slightly scumread him for his actions, and now you townread him for his actions because I'm defending him, despite the fact that his actions remain the same?

@RationalMadman
I think Croc realized that his gameplay last time was extremely bad.

Ok, you know what? If Supa did indeed NK LittleCookie, I will give him the pleasure of hammering.
VTL COOKIE
But if Cookie ends up innocent, I will suspect a godfather in here (which I still think is likely).

But your readings do line up with what we have so far (lurking, outlier claim, etc.)

Now that I think about it, given the current circumstance, there's probably a godfather in here.

Ok just got back to this game.
This could very possibly be role madness, which would cast a lot of suspicion on Cookie.
I don't like the fact that Bear claimed so late, especially when given the opportunity to do so when Supa visited Croc NP2. Had he done so, he would've instantly outed 2 people (Supa for visiting Croc on the night Croc got NK'd, and RM for the 2x Watcher fakeclaim). I also don't like the fact that he was sheeping a lot instead of providing reads.
I'd say that they are scum, but Croc and User both seemed super scummy and ended up being town, so I don't know whether this is scum play or just bad play.

Another cryptic enigma claim... yay.
This is LYLO. We don't have time to mess around. Full claim now.

The main question I'd ask both of you is, do you think they would have pursued this at the cost of their lives? The records show they died brutally, but continued to worship until the end. I don't think I'd die for a lie, so this is the most compelling rebuttal I can think of.
Yes, actually. Some people would be willing to die in order to galvanize their communities. Also, they believed in an eternal afterlife.

Considering the fact that the Judeo-Roman relationship wasn't exactly good, there is certainly a reason why they would want to do that. Namely, they would want a figure to galvanize the Jewish peoples to stand up against the Romans. Making that figurehead appear mystical would make the Jewish people believe them more, and it would certainly boost morale (knowing that there is a messenger who says God is on their side).

Speaking of which, your profile on DDO says that you are just some poor guy that masturbates to anime girls. Either you are a troll on DDO or you have dark secrets that I am not supposed to know.
Who said those two were mutually exclusive? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Interesting points. But let me ask you this:
Does the fact that the men of the gospels were actively trying to spread the faith have any impact on the credibility of their testimonies?
