I asked Pie if I could CP the message onto here, and he said I could once the sender gives me permission to do so.

I can CP the contents of it in DP3 if the person who wrote it allows me to (I specifically asked Pie about this).

And just before this DP ends, I need to tell you guys one thing, just in case I die tonight.
I received a letter in my PMs at the end of NP1. I can CP the contents of it in DP3 if the person who wrote it allows me to (I specifically asked Pie about this).
This means that there is a mailman in this game.

At this point, I wouldn't be surprised at all if it were an RM, Croc, and User scum team.
We already got one, so next day we should focus on RM and Croc.

Yeah I think certain individuals voted User just for the sake of disassociating themselves from him once they realized that defending him was no longer tenable

Bleeder is a role on Drafter's list. If Water is indeed telling the truth, he will be dead by the end of this DP.
The fact that SupaDudz roleblocked RM and yet a kill still happened means that RM is confirmed to not be a killing role. He may still be scum (Watcher has been played with all alignments), but he can be confirmed to be a non-killing role. This is true unless either Water or Supa are lying.
Croc claims that he healed me. This most likely means that he cannot self-heal, because if he could, he would've done so in NP1 (given the fact that he outed himself as doc). This makes Croc an obvious target for scum. The fact that scum targeted Water instead of Croc (who has claimed arguably the most important role for town) is telling. It means that Croc either is actually scum and lying about his role (more possible) or that scum was scared of a self-healing doctor. The former is more likely than the latter.

As long as there are some random mutations in the human population, and there aren't any factors that would prevent those with the mutations from reproducing, there won't be any stop to macroevolution. Macroevolution is simply the aggregate of many microevolutions.

If you’re going to ask questions, you might as well ask them now. Begging others to unvote isn’t going to make you look more town.

I did feel bad about abandoning the Kurds, because they were an ally in fighting ISIS. They did a lot of the work for us. Now, from what I understand, we armed and paid them generously for that service, but still not too happy with it.
I don't think the US gave nearly enough to the Kurds for them to have a fighting chance at defending against Turkey.
As for these other countries.... not sure we really have allies that are worth anything there.
I mean, it's either allies or ISIS and Al-Qaeda-like terrorist groups.
The international community complains no matter what: either wee intervene and send them a bunch of "refugees" or we pull out and they sneer because we aren't fighting terrorists who are a much bigger threat to them than us.
Given the current situation in certain countries in the Middle East, I think the "refugees" would be going over there anyway.
And I have no clue why Evangelicals love them so much. Jewish people in the US have a lower approval rating of Evangelical Christians(34) than they do of Muslims(35). While White Evangelicals have an approval rating of 69 for Jews. https://www.pewforum.org/2014/07/16/how-americans-feel-about-religious-groups/
Probably because of some bible verse like Deuteronomy 30:1-5

Money is an obstacle between the people getting what they want. People who work hard can get needs from the government without having to pay. They pay with their work.

@bmdrocks21
ehehehehehehe...
The US is already knee-deep in shit with regards to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. If the US army pulls out, they're probably going to get blamed for doing the same thing as they did in Iraq and Afghanistan (the situation in these countries right now is... poor to say the least). Remember when Trump pulled out troops from the Kurdish-held lands in Syria, essentially abandoning the SDF and leaving it to fend for itself against Erdogan? Yeah. I don't think the US suddenly pulling out of this conflict and declaring neutrality would make it look good in the eyes of the international community, especially with that precedent set. The only real solution would be for the US to take an active part in trying to make amends, and chiding both sides for their wrongdoings.
But who am I kidding? As long as the evangelical voting block remains powerful, the conservative GOP is never going to relinquish ties with Netanyahu.

Ehhhhh, that's how we ended up with the situation in the Balkans in the 90s.

We can all thank the Balfour Declaration, the second-worst Middle Eastern policy enacted by Western powers ever, for this mess.
I would say that there should be a two-state solution, but that seems less and less likely with every passing day.
Illegal Israeli settlements in the West Bank and Gaza strip and the violence from both sides certainly aren't helping.
At least I'm glad I haven't encountered any evangelical zealots in this thread yet, lol.

As long as you look at the market as a quick-fix wealth generator, you're going to be disappointed by fluctuation.
I agree that long-term investments are less prone to immediate fluctuation than short-term ones, but there can still be a lot of volatility.
Look, I've been invested in Apple since 1985. In Amazon since 1995. They represent my two biggest stock investments, and I DO NOT SELL. Apple: 35 YEARS. Amazon: 25 YEARS. Not six months.
True, long-term investments in start-ups can pay off big time if the company succeeds. But if they don't, then...
I own three properties and rent out two if them, and wholly own the third. Minimal monthly management fees. Only, I really don't own any of them. My living trust does. AS I profit from my rentals, they continue to increase in value because both are in prime neighborhoods.
You must be quite well off if you can afford to wholly purchase 3 houses in prime real estate.
At this point in time, I don't invest in high-risk, aggressive investing; your bugaboo.
Even if you don't aggressively invest in high-risk stocks, there's still some risk. In fact, you'd be extremely hard-pressed to find a risk-free investment that gives you a semi-decent ROI.
What current economic crisis? I'm not in Enron, Freddie and Fannie.
The one caused by people not being able to work due to the pandemic, where the Dow Jones plunged 1861.82 points in a single day.
I've been at this since I was 22. 48 YEARS. It takes time, my friend, and it's wasting while you complain instead of doing it.
Right now I can't, considering I'm a minor (and my parents aren't too keen on investing in the stock market).

220 instances out of how many lenders and borrowers exactly?
It's a representative sample, but I can find one with a larger sample size if you insist.
from you link, taking advantage I don't consider racism, business will exploit those that let them.
But have you considered why they're easier to exploit, and why, according to the study, the vast majority of these predatory mortgage lending practices are targeted towards minorities?
seems rather subjective given no real numbers.
Did you read the study it cited?
so in other words they don't really know, but they know it exists, um ok.
Just because they don't know the exact mechanisms doesn't mean they don't know what the problem is.
it's gone from not giving mortgages to giving them and making money off of them according to your link.
If minorities do get accepted for loans, then it is more often than not going to be subprime.
sounds like government influence right there doesn't it?
Yes. To be specific, this comes as a result of governmental redlining policies from the 30s to the 70s.
I've read enough of that. Everything happens to some extent but how much? we don't know, but I would say not very much. in a perfect world it wouldn't happen, but how much does this realistically happen or affect the entire system?
The redlining policies that started this issue were systemic and had a huge impact on the entire system.
This is but bandaid fix at best, if you could figure out what to fix.
Ending discriminatory loaning practices would improve the situation drastically. There are laws in place (such as the Fair Housing Act) to prevent discriminatory loaning practices, but unfortunately, it's still happening, mostly because many lenders found ways around it.
got anything else? don't want to admit independence is better than dependence?
How is eliminating discriminatory mortgages fostering dependence?
how many of those lending institutions or decisions were made by a black or latino person?
I don't know how many lending institutions were founded by Black or Latino people, and I don't see why this is relevant.
