imagine putting 1000 dollars into some random strangers' promise to start a debate website. These people are not too streetsmart irl or online clearly.
He now owns a small percentage of my website and has previous business experience.

Stick with this one for now.
Mine is just a work in progress and despite the money gambled on it, there’s no guarantee it will be high-quality or live up to people’s standards.
But it is an alternative, if this site self-destructs. (I have it on good authority, that it will.)
Consider the following.:
- Mike is laid off and is now reaching out for money.
- The site’s expenses can no longer rely on Mike’s source of income to sustain itself, so it will require donations from us.
- New updates are stifling people’s desire to participate. Less people = Less money. (7 people have quit already.)
- One of the top contributors, Rational Madman will be leaving soon.

The site may shut down from inactivity because there is a high volume of people quitting. (RationalMadman will eventually be one of them, unless I can talk him out of it.)
So me and WeaverofFate made a business deal and he invested $1K to the new site because he lacks faith in the current one. If DART shuts down from inactivity, people can always move to the new one. (It will have all the old features + more.)
As the new site is still underdeveloped, my current programmers are still working on it but I may reach out to Barney if he’s interested.

The 30,000 character limit makes reading Pro’s entire argument tedious, but too underwhelming to be intimidating because it’s too easy of a debate to win.
Truth be told, I was excited about the debate but I completely forgot about it which explains the 1st round boop.
I intend to finish it anyway as a courtesy, but if Pro is willing to disabandon it and recreate the debate with everything staying the same, but it being rated, I’d have no objections either.
