”As for those who persist in sin, rebuke them in the presence of all, (Timothy 5:20)"sin" Brother. That would include baring false witness, would it not?It is my understanding that “Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour” (Exodus 20:16), like the common definition, the phrase “false witness” in both the Old and New Testaments refers to someone who lies or tells falsehoods.A resounding YES, with Miss Tradesecret's Bible stupidity, spin doctoring of passages, and falsehoods is a SIN! Therefore, she is a blatant LIER, where the commandment of Exodus 20:16 forbids forgery (spin doctoring) and even the least suggestion contrary to the truth that her Devil Speak promotes!In Revelation 22:15, we are told that “whoever loves and practices a lie” will be outside the gates of the New Jerusalem, and in Revelation 21:27 “But there shall by no means enter it anything that defiles, or causes an abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.”
Reverend Munchausen has a lot to look forward too then.

Stephen,YOUR QUOTE RELATING TO THE HYPOCRITICAL MISS TRADESECRET: Sephen wrote: "Indeed Brother D. , the part s/he omitted is why you chose to ignore the voice of the "many"? Narcissism, perhaps?"..........I think that Miss Tradesecret has also told you that "others told her to block you," like she was "told by others to block me as well," where she couldn't think of this proposition herself to save her from further Bible embarrassment.
It is debateable Brother D. if or not narcissists of Reverend Munchausen's calibre actually suffer embarrassment at all. I have mentioned before that the believability of the tall tale spouted by the compulsive lying narcissist is of no consequence. All that seems to count with the narcissist of Reverend Munchausen's calibre is whether his tall tales about himself helps him rebuild the façade of his greatness while struggling to be relevant.#232

Don't you love her quote of; [Tradsecret wrote: ] "I have been advised to ignore you by many on this forum." where she needs others to tell her what to do, whereas she can't figure it out herself?
Indeed Brother D. , the part s/he omitted is why s/he chose to ignore the voice of the "many"? Narcissism, perhaps?

Hell was invented by the Christians.
As was the ducking stool, murder by fire, misogyny and the vile tortuous murderous inquisition that accounts for millions of deaths and much more violence against women. And all inspired by the bible.

The problem is Stephen, you have been predictably nasty in the past many times in the past with your diatribe...
And calling someone the "slime of Satan, ugly and disgusting #24 and "dumb as fuck#161" when they had only been here a matter weeks and just happen to believe different to you, isn't nasty in your books, then I take it, Reverend Munchausen?
You own double standards shouldn't cease to amaze anyone, Although they don't amaze me any longer. Indeed, they are predictable.
I have been advised to ignore you by many on this forum.
Then why don't you take that advice and save yourself having to invent further tall stories about yourself and your education, Reverend Munchausen?

I could name some of my mentors
I haven't asked you to "name" a single one of you so called "mentors". I am not interested in his name or identity.
I asked you a genuine theological question concerning the information concerning your "mentor's" opinion on why he believes that the garden of Eden was located in the Ukraine.
Here>> Stephen wrote: So what evidence did your "Eastern Orthodox Academic in Moscow mentor" tell you that caused you to believe his account? What was the material he provided that convinced you he was correct as to the location of The Eden and all other scholars and arachnologist were wrong?#313
Do you see that you backsliding bible dunce? Two questions concerning theological information that YOU claim that YOU have had imparted to YOU.
I have said from day one that I accept the academically accepted location for the Eden being Mesopotamia, (the land between two rivers and the cradle of civilisation) and the original home of Abraham. Now modern-day Iraq.
You one the other hand have thrown out a statement that, according to you, your - "mentor in Moscow provided you with a reasonably good basis for the location of the Eden was in the Ukraine".
HERE>>> Tradesecret wrote: MY best bet for the location of the Garden of Eden is the Ukraine - around the Black Sea. I have seen many people attempt to locate it and honesty none have been very convincing. Nevertheless, there was an Eastern Orthodox Academic in Moscow - (one of my mentors) who provided me a reasonably good basis for his view which is that it was in the Ukraine.#311
And now you cannot even impart what the " reasonably good basis" was while complaining that no one asks you genuine theological questions.
I have been advised to ignore you by many on this forum.
Then why don't you take that advice and save yourself having to invent further tall stories about yourself and your education, Reverend Munchausen?

Seriously, within Religion Forums over the years, have you ever seen anyone like her in being so God damned JUDEO-Christian Bible ignorant and stupid?
No, I haven't Brother D. Seriously, who would complain about not being asked theological questions, and then refuse to answer when posed such a genuine theological question.
Example, I asked:
Stephen wrote: So what evidence did your "Eastern Orthodox Academic in Moscow mentor" tell you that caused you to believe his account? What was the material he provided that convinced you he was correct as to the location of The Eden and all other scholars and arachnologist were wrong?
His/her response was;
That is for me Stephen. You are not my student.
Tell me Brother D. Can anyone be so pathetically and blatantly contradictory than the Reverend Munchausen?
And this post, well read it for yourself, Brother.

The garden of Eden and its location is most certainly a theological question. You just can't answer it and probably because it was simply more of your bullshite invented on the hoof.
That is not a theological question. It was simply a personal one - designed as always to find more information to use in your stalking.
Your paranoia is showing Reverend Munchausen.
Stop crying that no one askes you "theological questions" when you have no fkn intention of answering them. ESPECIALY when the questions are raised by your own statements and comments and or wild claims.

MY best bet for the location of the Garden of Eden is the Ukraine - around the Black Sea.
So for all of your years of being "tutored under all of those biblical scholars and church fathers" they didn't tell you that, for few centuries now, The Eden has been accepted to have been located in Iraq, once known as Mesopotamia,(the land between two rivers) and the birth place of civilisation according to scholars? Nope. This is what you wrote:
Tradesecret wrote: The bible tells us that God has no favourites.#39
Well we can clearly see that god certainly did have is favourites, You absolute bible dunce. Or did your amazing memory of biblical passages let you down.. AGAIN?
Deuteronomy 7:6 King James Version
For thou art an holy people unto the Lord thy God: the Lord thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth.
Deuteronomy 14:2 King James Version
For thou art an holy people unto the Lord thy God, and the Lord hath chosen thee to be a peculiar (special) people unto himself, above all the nations that are upon the earth.
Deuteronomy 26:19 King James Version
And to make thee high above all nations which he hath made, in praise, and in name, and in honour; and that thou mayest be an holy people unto the Lord thy God, as he hath spoken
Psalm 135:4 King James Version
For the Lord hath chosen Jacob unto himself, and Israel for his peculiar(special) treasure.
I would rely upon verses such as Deuteronomy 10:17;
Would you now? Well lets look at what god say just before your chosen verse:
Deuteronomy 10:15-17 King James Version
15 Only the Lord had a delight in thy fathers to love them, and he chose their seed after them, even you above all people, as it is this day.
16 Circumcise therefore the foreskin of your heart, and be no more stiffnecked.
17 For the Lord your God is God of gods, and Lord of lords, a great God, a mighty, and a terrible, which regardeth not persons, nor taketh reward:
Romans 2:11;
Yes this is simply saying anyone that commits evil will punished as would anyone else; MORE SO the Jews.
Romans 2:9-11 King James Version
9 Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;
10 But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile:
11 For there is no respect of persons with God.
See that. He singled out the Jews because they should know better. Why should they know better? Because they were HIS chosen people ABOVE ALL OTHERS and he was their God.
and Colossians 3:25
Nothing here about "favourites". Reverend Munchausen. No these are are simple instructions to Jewish families. No matter if it was the Father, Mother or the child.
Colossians 3:20-25 King James Version
20 Children, obey your parents in all things: for this is well pleasing unto the Lord.
21 Fathers, provoke not your children to anger, lest they be discouraged.
22 Servants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh; not with eyeservice, as men pleasers; but in singleness of heart, fearing God;
23 And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;
24 Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.
25 But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons.
My meaning and intent was directed towards the notion of God being impartial because of his character not based on some whimsical position of his people.
But god isn't impartial is he. He has a "special, " treasured" "chosen" people, above other ALL people, doesn't he, you bible dunce?
Now if you had said god has no favourites when it comes to the Israelite, you may have had a case, but then as shown above, he does single out Jacob as being somewhat favourite and wants him all to himself:
Psalm 135:4 King James Version
For the Lord hath chosen Jacob unto himself, and Israel for his peculiar(special) treasure. AMING OTHERS!!!!
Yet I also stand corrected for you are also correct.
I know I am. I also know that you were not correct and it was just another one of your many throwaway claims about what "the bible says" and for all of your self proclaimed theological education "tutored by orthodox priests, church fathers and theological academics"....... and your "Hebrew teacher", you were totally wrong... AGAIN!
Although I would not use the term favorite in the verses you quote (even as the translation does not use the term) but accept some translations do use the term. I think peculiar is a better term.
Do you actually know what god/the bible means when it uses the term "peculiar"? It means: God’s special possession.
And special does not necessarily mean favorite.
Well it did in gods case and his affections towards one chose people.

How can she even think about returning to this forum subsequent to the membership of late showing her total ineptness to the scriptures?
Compulsive lying narcissist have no conscience and care not if the lie is believed or not, Brother D.
I have said many times: To People with narcissistic personality problems the believability of the fantasy seems to be of no consequence. All that seems to count with the narcissist is whether his tall tales about himself helps him rebuild the façade of his greatness while struggling to be relevant. #186

Spirituality is akin to imaginary friends. Even if true, since they don't do anything measureable or usefull, ignoring them is the most rational option.
Fables should be taught as fables, myths as myths, and miracles as poetic fantasies. To teach superstitions as truths is a most terrible thing. The child mind accepts and believes them, and only through great pain and perhaps tragedy can he be in after years relieved of them.

The trouble is Stephen. For those who wish to perpetuate this bit of recent history, the issue isn't really about slavery.
But they are pushing and being allowed to push the one sided nasty horrid white man narrative, aren't they, Vic?
The issue is a black and white thing.....Commonly referred to as racism....And a two way transaction.
Slavery was certainly a"two way transaction", and it is being taught to appear a one way transaction. And being taught to make it appear that it was/is whitey that was and still is the sole culprit in this disgusting practice that was abolished by whitey. Arabs and Muslims still deal in the slave trade to this day; hardly gets a mention, if at all.
Still.
Fair is all I am asking for.
Have a good day Vic lad. Pub day for me.

Firstly, I HAVE NEVER said I have memorized the ENTIRE BIBLE.So stop with the lies.
There you go again, giving me cause to remind you.
This is what you have claimed, you bible dunce:
[A]
Tradesecret wrote:"I have been taught to memorise the bible from very young. I have read the bible numerous times. I try and read the OT once every year and the NT twice a year. "#52
So your attempts to play on words doesn't work.
You then pressed home YOUR point of YOUR amazing memory of the bible by adding this:
[B]
Tradesecret wrote: I know my bible backwards.
While further adding:
[C]
Tradesecret wrote: I know the bible backwards - and frontwards - in Hebrew, Greek and Aramaic
You can go back and check your notes.
I did. See[A], [B] & [C]
Secondly, I said God does not show favorites.
I would rely upon verses such as Deuteronomy 10:17;
Romans 2:11;
Yes this is simply saying anyone that commits evil will punished as would anyone else; MORE SO the Jews.
Romans 2:9-11 King James Version
9 Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;
22 Servants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh; not with eyeservice, as men pleasers; but in singleness of heart, fearing God;
23 And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;
24 Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.
25 But he that doeth wrong shall receive for the wrong which he hath done: and there is no respect of persons.

It would of been pretty handy back in the day to call someone a witch and have them killed.
It was the same in the days of Christ Deb. When if one upset the status quo they were known to "have been possessed by a demon". If one didn't agree with their church leaders/authorities, they were accused of being demons, or demon possessed.
Any kind of illness one was said to be "demon possessed". John the Baptist who is said to have been the "greatest prophet that ever lived" was said to have a demon". Jesus' own family thought him to be insane and "demon possessed" too.
Simply going against the grain and the accusations of demon possession started flying around like a coven of witches on broomsticks.
I think you get my drift, Deb.

So just to be clear, despite your lies above that you are an atheist, here you claim firstly, not be to an atheist. And why do you say that? because you believe in more than one god. Plural in fact. And then not only do you deny being an atheist, but you actually claim to be a "theist". Again why? because you believe that lords / gods existed.

The apology 'does seem a bit odd, bit out of the blue,But maybe there was something in the background, people writing letters asking for an apology, or something.
It appears that there was.
"The Witches of Scotland group has been petitioning Holyrood to pardon those convicted under the act, with QC Claire Mitchell saying it would correct as far as possible a "terrible miscarriage of justice".
SNP MSP Natalie Don was already planning a member's bill extending a formal pardon, and Ms Sturgeon noted that parliament may choose to legislate in due course". Nicola Sturgeon apologises to people accused of witchcraft - BBC News
Interesting that Wee Krankie Strugeon mentions only women in her address.
"A historian has criticised Nicola Sturgeon’s apology for “the deep misogyny” of Scotland’s witch-hunts by highlighting how men accounted for one in six executions.
The first minister said that individuals accused under the Witchcraft Act 1563 had suffered an “egregious” wrong, with many being killed “just because they were women”.
The first minister said that individuals accused under the Witchcraft Act 1563 had suffered an “egregious” wrong, with many being killed “just because they were women”.
I suppose the one man in every witches six were really witches then?
"Witches of Scotland is a campaign for justice; for a legal pardon, an apology and national monument for the thousands of people – mostly women - that were convicted of witchcraft and executed between 1563 and 1736 in Scotland".
It has gained support by all accounts with a massive 1,104 supporters.

I'm not. I believe it was outright murder and complete savagery committed by Christians and the Christian Church against mainly women and misogyny at its worst. And this POINTLESS posthumous apology may have been better coming from the Christian Church leaders rather than some jumped up tyrannical Jock. For whatever good it may have served.
AND Stop responding to me while you have me on block you lonely cowardly sad fkr!
I won't ask you again.

So you pressed me for an answer. I graciously answered and in return, you totally ignored my question. Or did you miss it?
HERE YA GO: >>>Can you tell me what this absolute pointless posthumous apology to Witches has actually served?

@Lemming
Which witch?
I think Wee Krankie used the plural.
I believe Wee Krankie was referring to Scottish witches of which there were some 2,500 murdered. I didn't know any of those 2,500 so couldn't name them without looking up "Witches From 14th,15th, 16th,& 17th Centuries, and I won't be doing that anytime soon.

What "more pressing matters" are you referencing, anyway?
I shall answer this only once as this thread is concerned with Witches and a absolute pointless posthumous apology granted them by a First Minister of a country.
Of just one the many problems Wee Krankei has at the moment is the little problem of Trident that she has all of a sudden gone quite on. Well she would considering that a nuclear war may be on the horizon.
Can you tell me what this absolute pointless posthumous apology to Witches has actually served?

Do witches go to heaven?Silly question.
Well, Vic. Although Wee Krankie appears to support Witches Lives Matter, the bible has nothing but scorn for them so heaven appears to be out of bounds.
Galatians 5:20-21 idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions 21 and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.
Exodus 22;18 - Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live.
That will be a no then.

"murder is bad"!You may have something there. First Minister Wee Krankie Sturgeon is pretty good at spending hours stating the bleedin' obvious.I understand you find it a controversial statement.
Nope , I find it an utterly silly and pointless statement.

Witches lives matter, Vic lad. The relief to those long dead witches must be overwhelming now that Wee Krankie had "pardoned them".

So it appears that there aren't more pressing and immediate problems for a first minister of a country to be concerned about when the last Witch murdered in that part of Britain was over some 350 years ago.Either there are not more pressing issues like you sayORThere are more pressing issues but taking 10 seconds out of your day to say "murder is bad"..........................]

Just when you thought Nicola (wee cranky) Sturgeon First Minister of Scotland couldn't get more stupid and creations, she offers this to Witches from days of yore.
"Today on International Women's Day, as first minister on behalf of the Scottish government, I am choosing to acknowledge that egregious historic injustice and extend a formal posthumous apology to all of those accused, convicted, vilified or executed under the Witchcraft Act of 1563."
So it appears that there aren't more pressing and immediate problems for a first minister of a country to be concerned about when the last Witch murdered in that part of Britain was over some 350 years ago.
Will it now follow that the ancestors of Scottish Witches murdered by renown witch-pricker John Kincaid be looking for reparations from Kincaid's descendants?
You couldn't make this bollocks up!
