There's some very strong right wingers who oppose UHC but they're a minority. Almost all of UK truly supports the NHS, even the majority of the right wing.
If the majority of the right wing supports UHC, what does it mean to be right wing then? What economic policies do the Labor propose that the conservatives don't like or vice versa? If the conservatives there want to support UHC, that's fine, but then they aren't conservatives.

For what it's worth, I agree with you that the British Empire was magnificently corrupt and correctly/justly overthrown in essentially all of the places it overtook.I'm not going to agree that America's world domination campaign is a good thing though.
What's better though; the country that killed millions of Africans to make an ethnostate empire or the country that killed a smaller number of natives to make a country based on enlightenment values? Some superpower is going to be doing bad stuff to other countries; that's a given. The question is is the American superpower better or worse than previous superpowers? I'd say America is better.

Most Americans and American families generate wealth via home value and inheritance.
They generate some level of wealth from home value, but there are bigger sources of wealth for people. Inheritance is received by a small percentage of Americans (How Many Americans Receive an Inheritance? (wise-geek.com)) and less than 2% of Americans receive $100,000 in inheritance or more. Whereas with the typical job in the US, I can earn $100,000 in under 2 years. But most people don't even get inheritence.
For every 295 white citizens, 1 is working minnimum wage, whereas for every 185 black people, 1 person is working minimum wage - or about 40% more.
So your saying that less than 1% of white workers and less than 1% of black workers work a minimum wage job and this is somehow racist? I could say that blacks are 10x more likely to go into the NBA as whites are(and the real figure is close to this), but this doesn't mean your typical black American has a good shot of ending up in the NBA because the vast majority of people, white or black don't work minimum wage jobs or end up in the NBA.
You also ignore what the living wage actually is in the, around 40,000 a year, much less than minnimum wage.
The "living wage" varies from place to place. But hooking up low income people with better paying jobs would pay a good wage for them regardless of their location and get the government out of business by making the minimum wage useless.

The companies that are paying higher wages want workers to do their work so they pay them more. It just so happens that the workers are only interested in minimum wage jobs. There are 13 million such jobs available according to the university of Georgetown and only 1.6 million minimum wage workers, the majority of whom don't need the money because they are living at home.

Every job is essential for an economy. How essential is a better question. One's salary in the free market gets measured by how essential or productive their job is to society. A minimum wage job working at McDonalds is less productive than being a construction worker and construction workers get paid more. If minimum wage earners want to earn more, they need to pick a more productive job. There are millions of them. If minimum wage jobs end up going empty, the company has some choices. they can:
1) They can hire people for more. This is a wage the company consents to pay, so it's fine.
2) They can invest in automation, and since all the workers that worked for them found better paying jobs, no jobs would be lost.
You legitmately have no idea what you're talking about.

Why are a lot of things about race with you? This is about the minimum wage, not about race relations. Why bring black people into this? Not everything is about race.
Wealth is primarily built through home value and inheritance - typically called generational wealth
Wealth is obtained through the stock market primarily, at least for me. Very little wealth is built through inheritance out of the millions one earns in their lifetime and I don't get to collect my inheritance until both of my parents die, which by the time that happens, I would be in my 50s and my career would be pretty established.
So then, today, those people do less well in school because of generational poverty, then able to get less well-paying jobs - so you know - for the people who actually need those jobs need to be paid the minimum wage.
Your assuming a significant portion of minorities work minimum wage jobs. Only 1.6 million workers work minimum wage jobs and the majority are either in highschool or in college (Characteristics of minimum wage workers, 2019 : BLS Reports: U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics) so they don't need the money as much as someone who is done with school. There are about 100 million minorities in the US. If every single adult working a minimum wage job was a minority (this isn't the case), then around 1% of minorities work minimum wage jobs. Since that's not the case, the proportion of minorities that work minimum wage jobs is even less.
Regardless, the principle that the lowest we can pay is so low beneath the living wage is disgusting and a country that supposedly cares for it's people should be ashamed for ever considering having a 7.50 minimum wage.
You didn't address my alternative to the minimum wage, which was any person perminately out of college that works a minimum wage job gets hooked up to a better paying job that isn't tied to a government mandated salary, which both gets the government out of the situation and allows the worker to earn a higher salary by doing more valuable work.

The minimum wage kills worker's ambition. If workers want a higher salary, they should get a better paying job. The university of Georgetown found 13 million jobs that you can get out of highschool that pay over $55K/year and there are only 1.6 million minimum wage workers. Minimum wage workers want $15/hour. I'd say they can earn more than that if they do different work. Such people should get into contact with a job that is not tied to the minimum wage so they can earn higher wages without a government mandate.

In boy scouts, it did. My parents told me that if I came out as atheist I wouldn't get Eagle since, "A scout is reverent". I got around it by referencing atheist eagle scouts and claiming reverent just meant respectful, whether that respect is to God or something worldly.
And are you still connected somehow with the people from your old religious affiliation?
I have friends that are christians. It works out for everyone.

What is the definition of Catholic philosophy? If the definition is agreeing with the Pope on policy, then Catholic teaching is different from western civilization. Conclusion: Either the Catholic Church isn’t the definition of western, or European countries aren’t western countries.

I think if a female told me she was raped, I would believe her. That’s not what opponents of believe women including myself are worried about. They are worried about a judge hearing about an unfounded rape case and prosecuting the accused male as a rapist on the grounds that evidence is usually unavailable, so it would give a female the ability to prosecute a male with no evidence.
In short, judges need evidence to believe an alleged rape victim, civilians don’t. The difference is judges have power to administer sentences that the civilian doesn’t.
As for abortion, until every kid is saved from dying of starvation due to them being in a good home, we can’t bring more unwanted kids in this world.

My justification for being pro choice is the following:
If every single unwanted pregnancy got aborted, then the foster system runs out of babies to take care of so they have to save 3rd world kids just to keep their buisiness alive. If I had to pick between an unborn baby being aborted or that kid being birthed, set up for adoption, and since the foster system only has a certain number of slots, it will mean that another kid will die a much more painful death than abortion, I would prefer abortion as I perceive it as the lesser of 2 evils.

I'm not Singaporean, but you can't kick people out of a country for disagreeing with your ideology. This goes against the principles of freedom of speech. Moreover, I think the migrants that move here will tend to get along because of the motto of the nation, "E Plurbus Unum" (Out of many, one). In 1800, German Americans had a lot of loyalty to their German state. Irish people had a lot of loyalty to Ireland. But if they wished to be primarily German or Irish, they would have stayed in Germany or Ireland. They chose to be American because they moved to America.
Similarly, any Turkish person that moves to America has chosen to be primarily American. If they preferred to be Turkish, they would have stayed in Turkey. Yet they prefer the god given and secular liberties presented in the Declaration of Independence, which states all victimless individuals are entitled to the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Freely moving encompasses the right to liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
If radical Muslims wanted Shriah law, they would stay in Saudi Arabia, where they already have that. Instead, they chose America because they like the promise of freedom that America provides to it's residents in the Declaration of independence. Also, the middle east doesn't have the population to invade Europe. There are 1 billion middle easterners and 700 million Europeans. If 70% of middle easterners moved to Europe, Europe would still be roughly 50% Christian.
Open borders means open borders with every nation in the world. If America accepted every person that wanted to move out of their country, very few of the immigrants would be from countries that the US is enemies with(More Than 750 Million Worldwide Would Migrate If They Could (gallup.com)). Only roughly 6% of the immigrants would be from China for instance.
For example, Singapore, Taiwan, and Hong Kong are all majority ethnic Chinese, yet none of these reigns wants to join China. If China can't convince these places to join China, how can China convince an area with 6% ethnic Chinese to join China? Immigrants aren't a threat to national sovereignty.

I have no idea what that means. I don't live in the US. Im assuming you're referring to migrants having some sort of "representation" if they pay their sales tax at a store. That's far too trivial for it to be counted. I doubt non-citizens file their taxes the same way citizens do.
No taxation without representation is the motto the US was founded on.

I'm led to believe much of the problems with school choice come from people only wanting to go to the 'good' schools. And, it would seem reasonable to me to then conclude that all the 'bad' schools (which might be mostly from areas with poor/marginalized communities) would either run out of funding or not have enough students or would be forced to stay 'bad' because any student who is able to go to a different school likely would.
Or the bad school could sell themselves to a good school. If School A (which is run by company A) competes with school B (run by company B), and school A sucks, they could sell themselves to company B, so company B (the better company) runs both schools, enabling the typical student to be educated by the better of 2 school options. If there are 10 schools, the 9 worse schools eventually sell themselves to the best school, and now most people have a better education.

If the conduct is all happening inside the school, I don't think the school would have a bad reputation with poorly behaved kids as long as they deliver better grades.
For these reasons I think you'd see a lot less parents of autistic students sending their children to a school specialized for those with developmental disorders and a lot more privileged parents trying to send their child to the 'best' school (not all too different from vaccine shopping where people try to get only the 'best' vaccine), which would overburden those schools and generally be to everyone's detriment.
If the good schools get overburdened, then they have 2 options. They can either:
1) Buy out other schools.
2) Expand their own school.
They pay for this with waivers.
How school choice works is parents have a consistent government voucher to spend on any school they want. If they homeschool the kid, they get to keep the money. This would lead to more homeschooling, which I think is a good thing as homeschool kids tend to outperform public school kids (Turns Out, Homeschooled Kids Really Are Smarter Than Their Public School Peers - BrightHub Education). I would have been preferred to be homeschooled I think.

I support it right now, but I don't know the other side that well.
My dad is very against the school choice movement because he cites that autistic kids will suffer. I think autistic kids would do better with school choice because they get to have more of specialized education that allows them to do better in their chosen field.

Biden is making the argument that legalizing AR 15s won't prevent a tyrannical government. Biden isn't advocating for a tyrannical government, but he is saying that AR 15s won't protect against a hypothetical government that goes tyrannical.
I disagree with Biden on this point; I think that 100 million gun owners can easily overwhelm the US military, especially with so much in fighting among the military and vets taking the civilian's side. But saying or implying that Biden wants to go tyrannical is just inaccurate.
